Problems and Countermeasures of Cold Chain Logistics Development for Agricultural Products in Zhejiang Province in New Period

Abstract:: The paper points out that since the 21st century, the development of cold chain logistics of agricultural products in Zhejiang has mainly experienced three stages, which are exploration and germination stage, popularization and development stage and quality upgrading stage. The cold chain logistics makes great achievements of continuous strengthening of cold chain infrastructure, rapid growth of transport and carrying capacity of sorting and packaging, and significant expansion of market scale. However, there are still obvious problems, such as unbalanced resource structure, complex intermediate links, difficulty in increasing enterprise revenue and profits, insufficient scientific and technological support, and lack of professionals. In light of these, we argue it is necessary to further strengthen the policy support for agricultural products cold chain logistics, reinforce the integration and docking of smart logistics and digital agriculture, and increase the exploration and practice of new standards, so as to continuously promote the new development of agricultural products cold chain logistics in Zhejiang.
