Abstract:Air conditioner (AC) is currently a fairly important requirement both in industry and households. But without realizing it, Air conditioner (AC) is an electronic equipment that wastes electrical energy, which means that it has an impact on swelling electricity bills. There are so many cases that are detrimental to the operation and use of air conditioners in new aeronautical engineering buildings, for example, the air conditioner is still on when no one is around. This case often occurs in one of the rooms in the new aeronautical engineering building, namely the seminar room. The seminar room is a multi-purpose room that is usually used as a meeting place or important event from the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug or internally majoring in aviation engineering. This often happens in the AC seminar room because only the seminar room has minimal activities so that no one feels responsible for the room. In planning, theory is needed to provide information on the design of automation and air conditioning monitoring. With the theory that supports it, the design will run optimally. In writing this final project, the theories used include the theory of Arduino, Relay, DHT22, PIR sensors, and others. ABSTRAKAir conditioner (AC) saat ini menjadi kebutuhan yang cukup penting baik di dalam industri maupun rumah tangga. Tapi tanpa disadari Air conditioner (AC) merupakan peralatan elektronik yang boros energi listrik yang berarti berdampak pada tagihan listrik yang membengkak. Banyak sekali kasus yang merugikan dalam pengoperasian dan penggunaan AC di gedung teknik penerbangan baru contoh nya AC masih menyala dalam keadaan tidak ada orang. Kasus tersebut sering terjadi pada salah satu ruangan yang ada di gedung teknik penerbangan baru yaitu ruang seminar. Ruang seminar adalah ruang serba guna yang biasa dipergunakan sebagai tempat pertemuan atau acara penting dari Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug ataupun internal jurusan teknik penerbangan. Hal ini sering terjadi pada AC ruang seminar karena hanya ruang seminar yang minim sekali kegiatan sehingga tidak ada yang merasa bertanggung jawab atas ruang tersebut. Dalam perencanaan, teori sangat dibutuhkan untuk memberi keterangan rancang bangun otomatisasi dan monitoring AC. Dengan adanya teori yang mendukung maka rancang bangun akan berjalan dengan maksimal. Dalam penulisan tugas akhir ini teori teori yang digunakan antara lain teori tentang Arduino, Relay, DHT22, sensor PIR, dan lain lain.
