Abstract:Purpose Currently, treating femoral neck fractures (FNFs) with the inverted triangle configuration requires alignment between the femoral neck's long axis and the axis of cannulated compression screws (CCS). To address whether the 'parallel' alignment is the most effective approach for fractures with varying Pauwels angles, we employed finite element analysis (FEA) to investigate how different angles between fracture line and CCS affect stability, based on various Pauwels angles. This study aims to offer improved guidance for treating FNFs with the inverted triangle configuration.
