Abstract:PURPOSE: An intelligent CNC(Computerized Numerical Control) machine tool with an automatic processing function and a control method thereof are provided to minimize the manual selection frequency and processing product quality errors of an operator and to improve the precision of a processing structure by regenerating NC(Numerical Control) data and searching a substitution tool when an error occurs due to the damage to the tool. CONSTITUTION: An intelligent CNC machine tool(10) with an automatic processing function and a control method thereof comprises a processing device(20), a control device(30), an arithmetic processing unit(40), an interface device(50). The processing device measures the coordinates and the size of a workpiece placed on a measuring sensor and sequentially cuts the workpiece with the tool selected by the NC data. The control device controls the driving of each tool and the signal of each part and includes a standard DB and a processing DB. The arithmetic processing unit sequentially extracts data from each DB of the control device and configures an optimum path. The interface device comprises a display unit, an input unit, and a radio wire communication unit.
