The Clinical Curative Analysis of 3M FiltekTMZ350 XT for Repairing Moderate and Severe Dental Fluorosis Wedge-Shaped Defect

Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical curative effect of 3M FiltekTMZ350 XT for repairing moderate and severe dental fluorosis wedge-shaped defect. Method 80 cases of patients with moderate and severe dental fluorosis wedge-shaped defect were selected from July 2013 to June 2015 as the research objects, they were randomly divided into two groups, control group patients were repaired with 3M ValuxTMPlus, observation group patients were repaired with 3M FiltekTMZ350 XT, and the clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Result 12 months after repair, the repair success rate and loss rate of observation group were 93.12% and 3.12% respectively, control group were 75.64% and 10.90% respectively, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). 6 and 12 months after repair, the gingival crevicular fluid volume of observation group respectively were (1.056±0.166)×10-5g and (1.072±0.187)×10-5g, control group were (1.180±0.214)×10-5g and (1.295±0.255)×10-5g respectively, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). 12 months after repair, the edge sealing rate, the rough surface rate and the color coordination rate of observation group were 98.12%, 3.12% and 94.38% respectively, control group were 89.74%, 8.33% and 85.90% respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion It has higher repair success rate, lower loss rate (strong adhesive force), small gum irritation, higher marginal fit and better color coordination by 3M FiltekTMZ350 XT for repairing moderate and severe dental fluorosis wedge-shaped defect, and has more suitable.
