Abstract:The article provides a detailed examination of the concept and essence of gender stereotypes, their diversity. The specific features of the impact of gender stereotypes on women’s self-realization in early and middle adulthood were analyzed. It has been found that gender stereotypes are fixed beliefs (ideas) about what women/ men are like and should be like, which shape their behavior in society. The problem of the gender stereotypes is considered by the authors as one of the most crucial and relevant in modern society due to a predominantly negative impact on women’s self-realization, which is reflected in complications in career advancement of women, existence of gender-based occupational segregation in the labor market, discrimination as well as conformism, personal stagnation, rigidity, devaluation of personality. The study has demonstrated that most of the women recognize the existence of gender stereotypes in modern society and aware of their impact on self-realization. Masculinity-Femininity stereotypes are predominant among the other types of gender stereotypes in both young and middle-aged women. The empirical examination has revealed that stereotypical beliefs are inherent in married women to a greater extent compared to single women. A comparative analysis has shown that women in early adulthood are less likely to manifest stereotypical beliefs than women in middle adulthood. Moreover, it was found that women in early adulthood have a higher level of striving for self-actualization compared to middle-aged women. Respondents have low scores on the “Spontaneity”, “Autosympathy”, and “Human Nature” scales, and high scores on the “Values” and “Creativity” scales. The following tendency can be observed: the women with a high level of stereotyping have lower index of self-realization than the women with non-stereotypical views. Despite numerous scientific works of foreign and national scientists about gender stereotypes, the problem of the impact of gender stereotypes on women’s self-realization has not been studied in depth by Ukrainian scientists. This highlights the relevance and novelty of the scientific work.

Abstract:У статті автором актуалізується питання гендерної рівності як необхідної умови досягнення жінками кар’єри. Проблеми гендерної рівності розглядаються крізь призму вияву гендерної нерівності та її впливу на можливості кар’єрного розвитку жінками. Проаналізовано основні показники гендерної нерівності у сфері зайнятості: гендерна сегрегація праці; ефект «скляної стелі»; нерівність в оплаті праці; подвійна зайнятість жінок (сім’я та робота); гендерні стереотипи; гендерні домагання та насильство. Запропоновано основні шляхи подолання гендерної нерівності у сфері зайнятості: правове та гендерне просвітництво, подолання гендерних стереотипів, розвиток професійних компетентностей особистості, реалізація політики гендерної рівності в усіх сферах діяльності. Abstract:This study aims to summarize the trends inherent in the Ukrainian labor market in order to highlight the problems of gender inequality in wages and identify barriers to women's entry into high-paying positions. The article analyzes the distribution of employment and unemployment rate by age groups of the population, reveals the patterns of influence of gender on the distribution of the employed and unemployed. In particular, the greatest gender inequality was noted among young people and the older age group. The study also summarizes the problems of gender differentiation in wages in terms of various types of economic activity. The activities with the largest pay gap among women and men are highlighted, which include financial activities, arts, sports, entertainment and recreation, industry, transport, agriculture and trade. The attention is focused on the presence of the phenomenon of the so-called vertical segregation in the labor market of Ukraine and the barriers that women face when looking for a better paid job are described. The level of gender differentiation of wages in the regions of Ukraine was also investigated and the regularity of the growth of such differentiation depending on the types of activity was confirmed. The problems that aggravate gender inequality in the labor market of Ukraine are generalized. In particular, emphasis was placed on the lack of sufficient legislative initiatives that would facilitate the rights of employed women, who must balance work and family. The regulation of legislation that will provide the possibility of alternative forms of employment, namely part-time or remote employment, will help to reduce the disparity in the representation of women and men in the labor market in Ukraine. A similar effect can also be achieved by developing effective programs to support women's self-employment in small and medium-sized enterprises, encouraging participation in grant projects or social activities. These legislative and program initiatives will reduce gender inequality, vertical and horizontal segregation, and break down stereotypes about the division of spheres of life and activities into "women's" and "men's".
Characteristics of women’s careers: international studies review

Abstract:Introduction. Career development has become one of the most significant areas of human resource management in modern organizations. Despite considerable progress in increasing the representation of women in various industries and also a multiplication of women holding senior positions, today, the segregation of the labour market persists. Women and men are unevenly distributed in such fields as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics; there are differences in wages and career advancement. Traditional career models have certain limitations in research and, therefore, require revision and updating. Purpose. Generalization of foreign experience of gender studies in the field of women’s professional careers. Materials and methods. The scientific review is presented by a systematic analysis of foreign gender studies over the past 10-15 years. Theoretical justification. The authors describe the main methods of studies examining women’s career advancement and also consider the causes of gender segregation, such as career choice, gender discrimination in employment and the workplace, and the phenomenon of the “glass ceiling”. Factors influencing the choice of career strategies are competitiveness, self-esteem, self-efficacy, the influence of cultural perceptions of gender roles, self-stereotyping, the presence or absence of role models, the social costs of women’s careers and the possibility of their recognition by society as professionals. Discussion and conclusion. A possible way to solve the problem of women’s career advancement may be to reduce the pressure of gender stereotypes, including even the distribution of household and child-rearing responsibilities and, ultimately, contributing to the improvement of well-being and life quality in general.
Media coverage of the impact of the war on gender segregation in the Ukrainian labor market

Abstract:The article aims to outline the trends of gender professional segregation occurring in Ukraine during the military conflict. Materials and Methods. The research was carried out with the use of qualitative methods. A content analysis was chosen for this study. The material consists of online textual publications, which include interviews with managers, specialists, and employees of the State Employment Center. It also includes interviews in which women residing on the territory of Ukraine share their experiences of employment and work during the war. Results and Discussion. In Ukraine today, two factors operate in parallel. On the one hand, there is an urgent need to fill vacancies in professions that have traditionally been dominated by men. On the other hand, the financial situation of women is on the decline. Women are forced to rethink their gender identity in the family and in society because of financial difficulties and their inability to guarantee a minimum of financial stability for themselves and their families. This leads them to be willing to accept jobs with working conditions that are particularly harmful and difficult. Employment opportunities for women are increasing due to differentiated demand, which contributes to the reduction of horizontal gender segregation. One factor that impedes this process is the demand for professions traditionally considered women’s domains, which do not require basic skills, and for which demand increased during the war. These professions are mainly related to manufacturing and working specialties. Given that educated and skilled women occupy blue-collar jobs, we can expect vertical segregation to intensify during wartime, when gender differences are manifested in positions and roles with differing status or potential for advancement. In the area of state gender policy, Ukraine has business development initiatives that reduce the gender gap in women’s access to assets and capital to invest in profitable entrepreneurial industries. However, these initiatives only involve a limited number of women and cannot be associated with radical gender changes in society. At the same time, the positive aspects of reducing horizontal gender segregation observed in Ukraine during wartime may be negated by the lack of or insufficient incentives for the development of preschool education. Thus, there are few effective levers to overcome gender segregation in Ukraine in the short and medium term. Achieving gender equality in the labor market is practically declaratory. Conclusions. In the context of the wartime crisis, gender segregation is a significant issue with negative consequences. A market specifically for women’s labor is emerging, and the social status of women’s work is declining compared to pre-war times. This situation may reinforce societal stereotypes that view men as more suitable for leadership positions, potentially decreasing women’s motivation and career aspirations.

Abstract:In the article, authors express the opinion that among main trends of the future – the change of a number of professions and positions due to total digitalization and robotization of routine processes. The content of professions will be updated at the expense of creativity, technology and innovation. In the near future, the presence of 5 cognitive technologies is predicted: neuroimaging, cognotropic drugs, cognitive assistants, brain-machine interfaces, artificial sense organs. A number of professions of the future 2030 according to the expectations of futurists and business experts are presented. It has been determined that they are: ethical hacker, cybersecurity specialist, Java developer, digital detox therapist, neuro-manager, robot manager, virtual reality travel manager, product manager, ethical resources manager, cloud architect, companion for the elderly, curator of personal memory, surgeon to increase memory, digital currency advisor, etc. It is argued that the number of cross-cultural contacts is constantly growing in today's globally digitalized world. The opinion is expressed that today the skills of cross-cultural communication, interaction and management are necessary for everyone. Authors present the distribution of expert roles for the implementation of a standard, methodology or technology in the formation of social entrepreneurship. The opinion is expressed that for the development of cooperation and in the conditions of extremely limited human resources of highly qualified experts and the shortage of their time, the main factor of success is the correct distribution of roles between experts of different categories of market participants. It is technology that has made these young people truly “globally oriented” in social and digital entrepreneurship. Being in constant contact through social networks with people from other cultures, regularly consuming global and informational content, the generation of buzzers has become the most “globalized” generation in human history. It is noted that today the newest specialists, namely metachronicians, are in demand. People of this profession serve industrial works, and that is why metachronicles are one of the most in demand in the labor market. Author’s vision of the peculiarities of domestic ageism, which is intensifying in both formal and informal spheres of society in the conditions of virtual reality, is presented. Our own understanding of the differences between the skills of the older generation and the professional abilities of the younger generation through the prism of the domestic socio-economic environment for the development of specialists in various professions.

Abstract:Problem setting. The functioning of the mechanism of public administration determines the need to establish the conceptual foundations of public policy, its strategic guidelines and directions for further development. There is no doubt about the social need for the humanization of consciousness, which is impossible without the introduction of the values of democracy and mutual respect in government.The relevance of modern gender research is due to the transformation of society, the emergence of new women's problems and the complication of existing ones, the need to understand the radical change in the position of women, strengthening and expanding the feminine principle in society.Thus, it is noticeable that in our time gender studies are especially relevant. All countries are faced with the task of developing a science-based policy on women. Without this, a realistic solution to many practical problems is impossible. Today, the women's issue is the focus of many social forces, it penetrates deeper into the consciousness of society and becomes a stimulus to social activity for both women and men.Recent research and publications analysis. At the present stage, Ukrainian researchers rely in their gender studies on the work of such Western authors as D. Butler, N. Khodorov, R. Bridotti, D. Dinerstein, D. Mitchell, E. Gross, K. Millet and S. de Beauvoir.In Russia, women's issues were developed by: A. Temkina, O. Zdravomyslova, O. Pushkareva.In Ukraine, the most famous are such researchers as I. Zherobkina, M. Alchuk, K. Karpenko, N. Chukhim and others.In Modern Ukraine, such researchers as Solomiya Pavlychko, Milena Rudnytska, Nila Zborovska, Maryana Rubchak and others have dealt with this issue.Highlighting previously unsettled parts of the general problem. Involving women in power and participating in politics (not just the right to vote) is the most important sign of a healthy democracy. Women's participation in politics is closing the gap that has so far prevented the formation of a truly democratic society and culture. And the parity of men and women in the adoption of state decisions is one of the prerequisites for democracy. Meanwhile, our women in positions of responsibility must constantly prove that they can act no worse than men, although at the same time they are forced to spend time caring for children and all housework.Paper main body. Realizing that humanity consists of two different but equal sexes, society must change its character in the public and private lives of men and women, because the worlds of public and private life are intertwined and interdependent. Now this balance is disturbed, women have en masse entered public life, but the organization of home life has not changed. This misunderstanding is based on the ancient tradition of neglecting the world of women and the unwillingness to bear some of the burden of women on the shoulders of men.Although scientific terminology is not yet fully established, so the words "gender" and "gender" and their derivatives are sometimes used interchangeably, their distinction is of fundamental importance. Gender is a natural physical phenomenon that allows for objective measurement. Gender is a historically, culturally determined category by which people group certain qualities, giving them a symbolic meaning.From all the above, the following worldview conclusions follow: the gender division of labor and norms of male and female behavior are not universal, but historically variable, they can and should be treated critically. The use of certain terms depends on the context. Thus, we see that the concept of "gender" means a complex socio-cultural process of society forming differences in male and female roles, behavior, mental and emotional characteristics, and the result itself - the social construct of gender.Modern gender theory does not try to deny the existence of certain biological, social, psychological differences between specific women and specific men. She argues that this fact of difference is not as important as her socio-cultural assessment, interpretation, and construction of a system of power based on these differences.Conclusions of the research and prospects for further studies. The Ukrainian intellectual space seeks to explore and use in socio-political practice the best achievements of world thought and civilization, among which a significant role belongs to gender studies, which are not losing popularity in the XXI century. acquiring new features and new meaning.Our state seeks to embody advanced democratic ideals, ensure the welfare of the people and the prosperity of the nation. And, as you know, a sign of culture and civilization of society is the attitude towards women, who in Ukraine are the majority of the population. Indeed, a democratic state cannot ignore the position and status of women in society, their right to self-affirmation in the private and public spheres, and the female voice in culture, politics, and society. The realities of today show the existence of serious problems in this area, and therefore the need for a thorough study of the situation of women in modern Ukraine.However, a significant part of Ukrainian society and even serious scholars are wary of feminist ideas, and sometimes hostile (as a danger to "real" women's interests, hatred of men or sexual dissatisfaction).It is feminism that offers a new alternative to women's choice, hard physical work or isolation in the private sphere and family responsibilities, and women need such an alternative not to make a choice without a choice, but to get all the opportunities of civilization. In this direction, feminism and gender studies are now humanizing the public consciousness.At the current stage of development of the civil service, it is necessary to develop mechanisms for implementing gender policy in the civil service, the formation and development of gender culture and gender education of civil servants of Ukraine.
Gender features of digitalization on the Russian labor market

Abstract:Digitalization changes the nature of work and the demands for competences of a modern employee, but the speed and volume of digitalization differ by type of economic activity. In the context of existing gender differentiation on the labor market, differences in the degree of digitalization lead to the fact that male and female types of employment change differently. The aim of the article is to determine the degree and features of digitalization of "women's" and "men's" spheres of employment and draw conclusions on the prospective impact of these differences on gender inequality. Data analysis concerning current gender differentiation on the labor market, the scale of occupational digitalization and the use of information technologies for various purposes allows us to conclude that both "male" and "female" professions are highly digitalized, but the nature of the changes is different. Data on the gender distribution in the areas of employment and the degree of digitalization of these areas allow us to distinguish 3 categories of women's participation in digital economy: 1. Household use of digital technologies; 2. Digital technologies use while performing labor functions; 3. Creation of digital technologies and direct participation in digitalization. The areas of women's primary employment (health care, information and communication, finance, education) are currently the leaders in employing digital technologies, so computer technologies penetrate more intensively into the professional activities of women than in "male" professions (for example, construction). However, in software development and digital technology management, women are less represented, acting as users of technologies created mainly by men. Since creation is primary related to usage, digitalization enhances gender inequality determining the innovative role for men and the user role for women, which should be taken into account while implementing policies aimed at overcoming inequality.

Abstract:The authors of the work believe that it is important not only to legally proclaim gender parity and equality, but also to ensure the practical implementation of the opportunity for women and girls to participate on equal terms with men in political, economic and social processes. The level of development of the labor market, guaran-teed access to higher education for everyone, and personnel policies of government bodies are changing ide-as about the position of women in society. However, the combination of labor, family, and material aspects continue to actively influence the perception of a woman’s gender role and her place in social processes and institutions. Intrenched customs and traditions in the sphere of division of labor responsibilities, the financial difference in wages between men and women, and the “underrepresentation” of women in politics continue to exist as a social phenomenon. The modern legal and social policy of the Russian state demonstrates an anti-discrimination nature against women. However, overcoming gender stereotypes and developing effective mechanisms for overcoming them is the most important step in realizing women’s rights to participate in politi-cal life, professional self-determination, and labor activity.

Abstract:The fundamental changes that took place at the beginning of the 21st century in all spheres of public life actualized the personalized trend of the modern personality, namely its social and professional development, which is associated with the concept of “career”. The purpose of the article is to characterize the pool of factors that determine a career as a socio-cultural phenomenon of modern society. Based on macro- and microsociological approaches, the parameters of career transformation are determined. Economic ones consist in the transition from working professions to expert-type professions that require a high level of education and specialization. Technological - in the development of information technologies, which led to changes in the technical and technological component of social production and the growth of a separate social group of intellectual workers. The transformation of interests and value orientations of a person has led to a shift in the emphasis of personal performance from external signs to individualistic factors. The patterns of new realities in the world of work, which led to the transformation of the concept of career and new trends, are characterized. The first model includes the presence of higher education, intellectual work in the specialty and a fairly low level of income. The second model is based on ideas about the American dream and the unlimited possibilities of the individual, where the main component is a high material status and own business as a symbol of success. The third model is a highly paid professional with a high level of prestigious education and a good profession. A new type of career is defined - “polyvariant”. These days, success in career strategies requires constant professional development and gaining experience. Through the individualization and pluralization of lifestyles and consumption, people are more able to choose their own path to success, including various forms of life and career development. The tendencies of the spread of self-employment and the development of professional qualities in the career strategies of a modern person are determined. ПОРІВНЯЛЬНИЙ АНАЛІЗ УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ТА СВІТОВОЇ НАУКОВОЇ ЛІТЕРАТУРИ З ОРГАНІЗАЦІЙНОЇ ПСИХОЛОГІЇ В 2015-2022 РОКАХ

Abstract:У статті розглянуто актуальні запити щодо індивідуальної кар’єри та організаційного розвитку. Презентовано бібліометричний аналіз для проведення огляду української та світової наукової літератури щодо розвитку кар’єри і організаційного розвитку за останні сім років. Систематично проаналізовано 640 статей в «Journal of Vocational Behavior» (JVB) – провідному науковому журналі в світовому кар’єрному домені та 250 статей журналу «Організаційна психологія. Економічна психологія» (ОПЕП) – єдиному українському журналі з організаційної психології, опублікованих з 2015 року до 2022 року. Розкрито поняття адаптивності кар’єри і пов’язані з цим поняттям терміни. Виявлено ключові теми статей, котрі проявились в обидвох журналах в цей період. З’ясовано ключові тенденції досліджень в організаційній та кар’єрній психології в Україні та світі протягом цього часу. За результатами контент-аналізу показано, що найбільш актуальні теми в світовій науковій літературі протягом останніх семи років були в основному зосереджені на адаптивності кар’єри (15,31%), побудові кар’єри (30,15%), відповідності кар’єри і організації індивіду, задоволеності кар’єрою, задоволеності роботою і благополуччі, конфлікті між робочими та сімейними ролями. В українській же професійній літературі в основному досліджували теми, пов’язані з освітніми організаціями (30%), організаційною культурою (11,6%), психологічним здоров’ям та благополуччям (17,2%), соціальною напруженістю, особистим розвитком керівників організацій та лідерстві. Констатовано, що спільними темами в українській та світовій науковій літературі протягом останніх семи років були статті, пов’язані з задоволеністю роботою та благополуччям. Цей огляд супроводжується двома парами таблиць: 1) рейтингові таблиці цитування обидвох журналів, котрі покривають 20 ключових робіт, на які посилаються статті JVB та 20 ключових робіт, на котрі посилаються статті ОПЕП; 2) рейтингові таблиці ключових слів обидвох журналів. Abstract:The modern labor market is a system that is developing dynamically in the context of globalization and digitalization of the economy. The problematic aspects that accompany the modern world economy, namely: environmental, demographic and social, have formed the reasons for change among the professions in demand in the modern labor market. In turn, digital technologies transform the content and nature of work. Digital devices such as computers, tablets, smartphones, cameras, virtual and augmented reality devices are the means of work. The organization of labor activity has a virtual character and is carried out by means of the Internet, includes process of transfer of the order to the executor, control over terms and quality of execution, transfer of result of work to the customer and payment. The result of the work is an information product. In such conditions, such professions as accountant, copywriter, estimator, librarian, lawyer-consultant, notary, logistician, dispatcher, navigator, proofreader, journalist, translator disappear from the labor market or are significantly transformed. However, new ones will appear: a specialist of the State Cadastral Register, a machinist-operator of irrigation machines and units and mechanisms of drip irrigation, a designer of the recovery system. Therefore, the basis for the effective implementation of adaptive measures in the labor market in the transition to a digital economy is laid in the field of education. Modern labor and education markets are unbalanced, educational institutions are late in adapting educational programs to the requirements of the labor market. The main areas of balancing the labor market and the digital economy are: updating the Classifier of Occupations; promoting the formation of a creative class in Ukraine; coordination of actions of the Ministry of Education and Science and universities in the process of implementation of directions in the spheres of formation of digital and creative labor potential. Therefore, modern digital society is characterized by active processes of creating new knowledge, use and dissemination of information, which creates the preconditions for the emergence and development of new professions.

Abstract:In Russia, the overall number of educated, qualified, healthy, working women is significantly higher than that of men. Nevertheless, women face unequal wage distribution and feel the income gap, rarely reach managerial positions, are not represented at high managerial levels, and are excluded from political life, which is a manifestation of gender inequality. The research was based on the concept of gender strategies of Doing & Undoing Gender Strategies. The aim of the study was to identify and examine gender-specific career development strategies of Russian women as a way of narrowing the gender gap. The study involved 51 women aged 22 to 60 who were asked to complete a semi-structured interview. The results were processed by content analysis and frequency analysis. The main results were to confirm the existence of gender strategies as a way of overcoming the gender gap in the organization and to identify and describe the specifics of Russian women’s application of gender strategies in their career development. The Doing Undoing Gender Strategy was used more frequently than the Undoing Gender Strategy. However, the scope of Undoing Gender was significantly wider and more variable. Those women who used a combination of gender strategies rated themselves as “strong performers”, emphasized high subjective satisfaction with their lives (having a family and children), and noted a successful career path, unlike those who used only one of the strategies. A combination of gender strategies can help to promote women’s careers in the best possible way and bridge the gender gap in the organization.

Scientific notes of the Russian academy of entrepreneurship

Abstract:Modern societies strive for greater gender equality and inclusivity, so it is crucial to study the impact of gender on career guidance in order to develop more effective interventions and support systems. Recognizing the uniqueness of the problem and experience faced by people of different genders can increase the effectiveness and relevance of career guidance activities. By studying various aspects of career growth through a gender lens, science contributes to a better understanding of how gender shapes career choices, experiences, and counseling needs of individuals. The article examines the features of professional choice and career building from the perspective of gender theories. It is concluded that they help to explain the formation and strengthening of gender stereotypes, the impact of discrimination on psychological well–being, choice of profession and career trajectory, as well as the interaction of gender with other social identities.

Abstract:In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is a continuous transformation of processes in the labor market. Digitalization of society affects the structure of the employment sector, when some professions become obsolete due to automation of work processes. At the same time, there is a demand for new competencies aimed at working in an online environment. The purpose of this article is to analyze current global economic and technological trends affecting the transformation of the labor market and the formation of new socio-economic relations in the context of the formation of the digital economy. The author draws attention to changes in the nature of work and forms of work activity, requirements for professional skills and abilities. It shows how changes related to the digitalization of the economy directly affect the issues of training and retraining of the most popular specialists. The article systematizes the main global trends in the labor market caused by the digitalization of the economy and the widespread introduction of Information Computer Technologies. In the course of the research, the author revealed that digitalization of the economy has the opposite impact on labor markets, leading to multidirectional processes in the medium term, which is expressed in the reduction of low-skilled jobs, an increase in the level of robotization of production, differentiation of forms of Organization of production, revision of types of economic relations. As a result of digital transformation in industry, it became possible to produce products with higher quality, and the human factor became less significant in many production and technology sectors. The negative consequences of digitalization include the disappearance of a large number of professions, the release of workers, and an increase in unemployment. The author concludes that digital inequality in regional labor markets, with its further development, may negatively affect ensuring the country's economic sovereignty. At the same time, the results of the study suggest that no automation can completely replace a person, so forecasting total unemployment due to the robotization of production is temporary.

Abstract:So far, gender inequality in education has been considered in the context of inequality in women’s access to technical specialties, the impact of education on the fertility rate and wages of women, the impact of religious, cultural, social-economic values on women’s education level. However, this concept does little to explain the gender imbalance and low quality of human capital in an environment where women have the opportunity to be educated in any field of knowledge through a feminization in the European countries. The research methodology is based on the correlation analysis of indicators of gender equality in education in Germany, France, Poland, and Ukraine for 1991-2018. The purpose of the study is to identify the trends and dynamics of gender changes in education, the level of gender inequality and establish the causes and effects of gender asymmetry in some European countries. To evaluate gender equality in education, we used the Gender Parity Index. The results of correlation analysis prove the presence of a direct connection between the level of fertility and the Gender Parity Index in the field of primary and higher education, while in the field of secondary education-reverse. Such tendencies are inherent in almost all countries of Europe. The analysis of indicators characterizing the level of education of women within the Eurozone countries shows the decisive role of the structure of the economy and the needs of the labor market in specialists with digital skills and mental abilities. The structure of the economy and the efficiency of various sectors ensure the reduction of gender inequality in education, contributing to overall economic growth and GDP per capita. Political institutions and national policies indirectly influence gender inequality in education by regulating the development of sectors of the economy with different levels of female employment. The proposed paradigm of gender inequality is based on the crucial role of skills, competencies, and abilities regardless of gender. The gender imbalance has been overcome in countries with a high level of women’s competence. Competence is a new paradigm in overcoming gender inequality.

Abstract:В данной статье рассматривается проблема гендерного неравенства в условиях цифровизации. В настоящее время сфера информационных технологий предоставляет много возможностей для расширения представительниц женского пола, в том числе для увеличения их доли на рынке труда, финансовых рынках и в сфере предпринимательства. Идёт тенденция на вовлечение женщин в экономические процессы с помощью информационных технологий. Однако существуют недостатки и сложности, для устранения которых требуются усилия стран «Большой двадцатки». Как следствие, для устранения гендерного разрыва государства проводят соответствующую политику, в чём им особенно помогают цифровые технологии. This article examines the problem of gender inequality in the context of digitalization. Currently, the field of information technology provides many opportunities for the expansion of the female sex, including an increase in their share in the labor and financial markets, and the field of entrepreneurship. There is a tendency to involve women in economic processes with the help of digitalization. However, some shortcomings and difficulties require the efforts of the G20 countries to eliminate. As a result, to eliminate the gender gap, governments are implementing appropriate policies, in which digital technologies especially help them.

Abstract:Статья посвящена исследованию гендерных различий в сфере экономической активности населения России. Рассмотрены сущность и формы проявления неравенства. Выполнен анализ временных рядов ключевых индикаторов рынка труда, определены основные тенденции. Выполнен точечный и интервальный прогноз уровня занятости женщин и мужчин в Российской Федерации. Сделан вывод о роли государства в устранении диспропорций рынка. The article is devoted to the study of gender differences in the sphere of economic activity of the Russian population. The essence and forms of inequality manifestation are considered. An analysis of time series of key indicators of the labor market was performed, and the main trends were identified. A point and interval forecast of the employment rate of women and men in the Russian Federation was made. A conclusion is made about the role of the state in eliminating market imbalances.

Abstract:The article is dedicated to the functioning of the images of a senior woman in the communicational space of mass media and Internet memes as concepts that have formed under the influence of the events of the Russo-Ukrainian war after February 24, 2022. The subject of the research is actualized in the context of changes in gender role stereotypes in the course of the establishment of the legal society, strategies of information warfare, and ideological propaganda, which is meant to influence the international image of Ukraine. The aim of the study is to analyze the media image of an elderly woman, taking into account such concepts as “informational warfare”, “propaganda”, “stereotype”, and “archetype”, because it is through them that the influence on the mass consciousness is performed, in particular, values are established, worldview models are normalized, humanization processes are legitimized. Thanks to the use of analysis, generalization, and interpretation methods, we have managed to systematize the image of a senior woman as an active mass media message. As the results of our research, we have clarified the difference between the narratives in the image of a senior woman that forms Ukrainian and Russian informational environments. We have identified the communicational goal with which they are being spread. Also, we have determined the difference in the mechanics of popularization of the symbolic figure of a senior woman in the mass communication means. The novelty of the research lies in the analysis of the informational processes in the modern history of Ukraine, which are currently in the state of dynamic evolution. Also, the novelty is conditioned by the cross-disciplinary vision, which takes into account the experience of the gerontology and memetics, the most modern approaches for the Ukrainian scientific thought. Prospects of further research lie in several directions. Among the scientific investigations that rest upon the symbolic codes of physicality in the communicative field there are: analysis of the development of gender-based and age-based stereotypes in Ukrainian mass media; determination of proactivity of archetypical images as a tool used for the creation of informational defense; further comparison of the roles archetypes play in mass media of legal and totalitarian states; identification of the role markers of physicality play in the set of communicational tools used by information warfare.
