Abstract:: The application we are developing is about “Student information Management System”. It is an android application used to find out the Information about the College and student details like staff, library, important notices, attendance and results of student. Hence this android application is used to make easy use. It saves a lot of time. This application is very much useful for students to get the information academic details. All this information is available in internet connection is required. All we have to do is to store the information in database. The main objective of “Student Information Management System” is to provide very flexible environment to the mobile users. Now a day each and every person having an android mobile and it is easy to carry so that it is gaining the more popularity compared to the other electronic gadgets. In this competitive world we have different types of mobiles and in these mobiles also we are having different types of applications. Generally, we won’t have any application regarding any information about college & student. We have to browse for everything. But this application has that flexibility to have the information and we even have the flexibility to change and delete the information.

Abstract:While pursuing any graduation Degrees or in school student have difficulty controlling their time and faculty work parallelly. This certainty affects work productivity in offices. With the establishment of the Education Management system application. The purpose of making this application is to assist users in managing their college work or school work all at once in an application. The research method used in data collection is literature study and indirect observation. The application development method uses the system development life cycle method with the waterfall model. This model uses a systematic and sequential approach that starts at the level of requirement to the level of maintenance. This application is based on Android Developed with the Java programming / Kotlin language. The result is an Education Management system application that can be used for remainder or also bring a Digitalization which also reduce a crowd or keeping a store of documents of college students or school students.

Abstract:E-Campus 2.0 is a highly efficient data management system designed to handle institutional information, student-related data, and various other data needs within our college. This system ensures that data is readily available in a format suitable for submission to professional boards such as the NBA (National Board Accreditation), AICTE, MHRD, and others. E-Campus 2.0 provides a centralized platform where students, faculty, and staff can access necessary information and resources, including class schedules, marks, fees, and events. The system maintains institutional data, department details, student information, and can generate reports based on specific requirements. By enhancing data accessibility and accuracy, E-Campus 2.0 significantly improves efficiency within the college community. Students can view their marks, events, and communicate with others, while faculty can manage courses, submit marks, and track attendance, thereby streamlining administrative and academic processes.

Abstract:The project is aimed at developing an application for the “`WEB BASED PLACEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” of the college. The system is an application that can be accessed and effectively used throughout the organization with proper login enabled. This system can be used as an application for the Placement Officers in the college to manage the student information with regard to placement. Our project provides the facility of maintaining the details of the students. The web application can be accessed throughout the organization with proper login provided. The “placement management software” or system helps the students, company to register and communicate all the information in the portal.The users can easily get access to the portal and also the data can be retrieved easily within no time. In various colleges, training and placement officers have to manage the student’s profile and documents for their placements manually. The placement officers will collect the information from various companies who want to recruit the students and updates to the students from time to time. And also arranges the profile of students according to various streams. The placement officer will clearly notify the needs and requirements of the company. It was difficult to communicate the information with the “N” number of students together about the placement drives. So the web application was designed which was easy and efficient to communicate the information to the students in a manual way ,It reduces the manual work and consumes less paper work to reduce the time.

Abstract:The most common problem faced by students these days is related to Attendance. They get short of attendance due to several factors beyond their control as in the case of an emergency, where they might not be able to send their leave application. There are times when due to lack of coordination with the concerned authorities, they miss the attendance of several important in-campus and off-campus activities such as events, workshops, seminars etc. In some cases, they do not even get the information about the upcoming events which would be beneficial to them. The proposed system automates the existing system. It decreases the paper work and makes the record maintenance process easy by replacing all the traditional methods by computerized techniques. We understand that this project cannot be accomplished with divided thinking. Hence, our technique involves getting into groups and coming up with ideas, known as brainstorming, and this a tried and true method. This technique has many variations. Keeping these problems in our mind and brainstorming over all the possible solutions, we generated an idea of creating an application which would solve all above stated problems. Through a vast discussion, we came up with the proposal. The idea breaks away from traditional thought and creates a different perspective. Our application mainly focuses on the fair distribution of attendance among students. It provides all the related details of working days, holidays, events & workshops taking place in the college. This project is aimed at developing an online leave management system that is of importance to either an organization. The Leave Management System (LMS) is an Intranet based application that can be accessed throughout the organization or a specified group/Dept. This system can be used to automate the workflow of leave applications and their approvals. The periodic crediting of leave is also automated. There are features like email notifications, automatic approval of leave, report generators etc in this system. Leave Management application will reduce paper work and maintain records in a more efficient way.

Abstract:An organized and systematic one solution is essential for all the institution and organization. Most of these track records needs to maintained information about students. This information could be the general details like student name, address, performance etc or specific information related to the departments like collection of data. This entire module in college is independent. These are maintained manually. So we need to automate and centralized as .information from one module will be related to our modules. With that in mind we over halted the existing student information management system and made necessary improvement to streamline the process. Our work is useful for the easy user interface. We are planning to make the student information management system that can be used by the educational institutes to maintain the records of student easily. Archieving this objective is difficult of using the manual system as the information is scattered, can be redundant and collecting relevant information may be very time consuming. All these problems are solved using this project.

Abstract:Student Data Management System is an android application to store and manage student information in modern educational institutions[2]. Traditionally, it has been managed using pen and paper which is not very efficient. Hence the goal of the project is to create an android application for Student Management for storing and retrieving the data of students and faculty for efficient functioning of the academic institutions. The application is to be created with kotlin which is announced as the most favorable language for android developers by Google[5][6]. The data for the application is to be stored in the Android Room Database. User Interface is to be provided using v7recyclerview module, which provides efficient and user friendly layouts. A Smart Assistant allows students to ask queries and get answers from the application by text and voice is to be created using Alan App in kotlin. The users could manage attendance[1], marks and proceed in the track and required data will be stored and managed for future references too.

Abstract:A college club management system can be useful for organising and managing various aspects of student clubs, including membership, events, communication, and records. It can help streamline administrative tasks and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the club. Additionally, it can provide a centralised platform for students to connect with each other and collaborate on club activities. Currently, the different clubs in an institution maintain their own web sites. Each of these websites usually only contain information about the past events conducted by the club. Absence of features such as member login can cause inefficiency in management of club activities. Further, as there is no single integrated application for management of activities of different clubs, events conducted by the clubs may be scheduled on the same day which can be a loss to students interested in participating in these events. The proposed system overcomes these drawbacks by providing a single web application that can be used by a college or university to maintain all its clubs and their activities. The application can be used by core team members to plan and organise events, schedule meetings and analyse feedback received for various events using natural language processing, while club members can effectively participate and contribute to the club while gaining extra curricular skills.

We conducted a survey with the students of Al Buraimi University College and we reached a positive result that helps in the work. Smartphones have become pervasive and sales of all categories have many functions, in search (application of mobile-based devices in education design) to talk about applications in smart devices that serve education and take their information for management purpose and ease of use and follow them in any way.

Abstract:A web based system for managing a school has been designed, developed and evaluated; the system automates the functional operations, including the time table, assigning teachers to courses, registering students in courses, recording marks and attendance. The system has smart functional operations like automatic notifications for the students’ parents on their contact information like SMS, email or messaging on the web system, the objective of this project is to develop, design and implement a class management system that allow an online web based management for the attendance and marks of the students, in addition to SMS and email notifications for students parent contact, after developing the system comparing its features and behavior with other similar systems that developed to manage classed and students, the comparison includes the system reactions with the notifications and the accessing techniques, the system was programmed using PHP object oriented web programming language and MySql is the database of the project. For evaluating the impact of applying class management system a comparison study performed on our system with other similar purpose application, the introduced system meets the objectives and behaves well in the notification for the students parent and the administration about the students behavior, and the system compromises many features that doesn’t included in the other competitive systems in the same field.

Abstract:In college multiple events are conducted and there is need to manage and store the information of various events. It is a challenging task to arrange all the teams and events manually. Traditionally all the information about the technical and non-technical events has been circulated among the students through notice board. Some students may not receive information and may miss the events. The coordinators may find difficult to pass the information and to manage registrations. The main aim of the project is to automate the college event management system with the help of full-fledged computer software by creating a website. The website will be reliable, secure and can store large number of records. The stored data will be easily accessible, available and can be manipulated. The technologies used in this project are HTML, CSS, JSP, Java, Servlets, MySQL, Tomcat.If any information was to be found it was required to go through the different registers, documents there would never exist anything like report generation. There would be unnecessary consumption of time while entering records and retrieving records. One more problem was that it was very difficult to find errors while entering the records. Once the records were entered it was very difficult to update these records. The reason behind it is that there is a lot of information to be maintained. For this reason, we have provided various features in our proposed system that is partially automated.

The system uses web architecture mode, JSP programming technology and SQL Server database management technology. Abstract:Breeze is an Android Application which provides a common, easy to use platform for college students to develop a better interaction with fellow students, faculty and administration. This work has unique and helpful feature of raising queries, where students can put up their queries and anyone can answer their queries. For keeping a check over the inappropriate posts a feature of report is also provided which informs the admin about inappropriate posts and actions which could be taken over it accordingly. Furthermore, it provides user a help option which helps them in discovering any information regarding labs, faculty and lecture halls. Breeze also creates a platform where user can view daily updates of his/her attendance syllabus, and time table. Breeze app works fluently as it is based on online database system called firebase. It has secure login features, and also allows login through Facebook and Google. It also provides basic features like changing password, profile picture, and retrieving the forgotten password. In all it is an all in one application which has all the features to solve the basic problems of college students.

Abstract:Abstract: A driving school management system can significantly reduce the workload and ensure the effective use of driving school knowledge resources. Driving instructors have to deal with several learner drivers at the same time. This prevents communication with the learner drivers about their driving lesson schedule or exams. This is an online application for car and scooter driving school registration. This app automates manual tasks by managing all records related to student access, attendance, vehicles, and instructors. It keeps track of all student drivers. The system administrator controls all system modules. The staff of this driving school has to take care of several students at the same time. This leads to problems in communicating with the students about the driving school schedule or the exam. In this there are more driving students than driving instructors. Each learner driver and driving instructor is given a unique username and password. They can log in to the driving school administration system with this ID and password. After logging in, they will see the basic training syllabus available in the portal. Students are also divided into two groups: Resident students and Distance learners. There is also a local tutor and a distance teacher. Local students can register and select a package and time slot, distance students can search for a distance teacher in their area and book a session with an available distance teacher. The location provides a geolocation-based API that allows you to see the current location of the teacher.

Abstract:Abstract The purpose of this research is to design a database system implemented on an academic management android application that will be utilized to support the academic management information system for the advancement of institutions and education systems. The method in this study is to perform a design consisting of a proposed design to be implemented in applications such as online study materials, notifications, academic calendars and online reminder checks, online attendance records, performance records, and parent intimacy systems using Android applications. The system helps teachers to attend via smartphone and keep student records for their progressive assessments. The system provides prior intimacy to students as soon as their attendance is below the attendance threshold specified in the form of SMS. The result of this study is an android-based student attendance management application at an Educational institution.

Abstract:In this paper, we design an Android application-based framework for a university-based academic solution for a crisis period. Nowadays people feel more comfortable using an Android phone for their regular day-to-day activities. Besides, during crisis moments, when people need to stay home for a longer period, smartphones are turning into the main source of entertainment, information, communication resource and many more. Considering the impact of this Android technology on university going students, we have designed and constructed an Android application named ‘Study-Mate’. By using this application, students can find registration and course information, lecture notes, faculty information, and research information, updated results from outside the campus, pay their registration bills and can contact their faculty members directly by saving both faculty and student’s profile on the application. On the other hand, faculty members can use it for online attendance, updating course materials, lecture notes and information related to the course and university. Lastly, it also provides the opportunity to conduct short classes online and students can attend them by the use of the internet. The outcome shows that the application is very promising considering the other available platforms in Bangladesh.

Abstract:The College Management System (CMS) is an advanced web-based application designed to streamline administrative and academic processes within educational institutions. Developed using the Django framework for backend functionalities and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend presentation, the CMS offers a comprehensive solution for managing various tasks efficiently. Leveraging SQLite as the databadminisratiase management system ensures robust data management capabilities, scalability, and ease of maintenance. The CMS provides a wide array of features to automate routine tasks and enhance collaboration among students, faculty, and administrators. Student admission and enrollment management, course scheduling, curriculum planning, and faculty assignment are seamlessly handled by the system, reducing manual workload and minimizing errors. Integrated messaging systems and announcement boards facilitate communication, fostering a collaborative learning environment. The examination management module automates the entire examination process, including exam scheduling, creation of question papers, venue allocation, and result processing. Online exam registration and automated grading streamline the process, ensuring accuracy and transparency while reducing administrative burden. Attendance tracking is simplified with the CMS, allowing faculty to record and monitor student attendance easily. Integration with biometric systems or RFID technology enhances accuracy and eliminates manual attendance taking. Comprehensive attendance reports provide insights into student progress and compliance with attendance policies. Resource management is optimized through the CMS, which enables efficient allocation and utilization of classrooms, laboratories, library resources, and equipment. Administrators can manage inventory, track asset availability, and schedule resource bookings to prevent conflicts and ensure optimal utilization. Reporting and analytics features empower administrators with real-time insights into various aspects of college operations. Customizable dashboards provide information on enrollment statistics, academic performance, financial data, and more, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement. In conclusion, the College Management System developed with Django, HTML/CSS/JS, and SQLite revolutionizes educational institution management. By combining advanced technology with intuitive design, the CMS enhances efficiency, transparency, and collaboration, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of the institution.

Abstract:Management Information Systems Share: Facebook [1] Twitter [2] Google Plus [3] Myspace [4] MSN Live [5] Yahoo [6] LinkedIn [7] Digg [8] Delicious [9] MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS (MIS) SERVICES The University relies heavily on several information systems to carry out its administrative, teaching and learning functions. Most of the applications have been developed in-house by the ICT team, including the flagship SMIS system. We highlight recent developments in the MIS section. University System of Websites The UoN website is a strategic tool through which the university reaches out to all its stakeholders. Through the website, the University posts information on public announcements, achievements, upcoming events, news, job and programme advertisements among others. Number of visitors to the UoN website has also increased significantly. This means the university cannot afford to compromise on the quality and accuracy of information provided online. To achieve this, the ICT centre did an overhaul of the University website where customer feedback, universally acceptable web practices and web technological changes were concerned. Among the features that the new website has is the ease of update of information at all levels, and flexibility in the look and feel of the unit sites. Other management features include easy performance measurement of the unit sites. The new website was developed from October 2010 and launched in May 2011, and is available on http://www.uonbi.ac.ke [10]. The URL of the previous University website can be accessed at http://archive.uonbi.ac.ke [11]. Future enhancements include creation of online journal sites, conference planning sites, online surveys and revamp of the staff profiles. Other features to be worked on include blogs and chart forums and revamping of the intranet. Student Management Information System (SMIS) [12] This system was revamped in 2008/2009 at a cost of approximately Kshs 25M. It has continuously been used to implement core functions of students’ educational processes that include: · Admission · Course registration · Marks entry · Issuance of transcripts · Graduation · Provisional online fees statement and · Provisional marks on the student portal.
