Knowledge Graph Analysis of Chinese Higher Education Policy Research in the Last Decade

Abstract:With the development of higher education in China, the formulation and implementation of higher education policies have become an important research area. In recent years, the application of Knowledge Graph technology to higher education policy research has enhanced the analysis of policies from multiple dimensions, provided new perspectives and methods, improved the scientificity and effectiveness of higher education policy research, and offered strong support for the development of higher education. The author uses the visualization software Citespace to analyze the representative high-level literature related to higher education policy research in China in the past ten years in terms of annual publication volume, visualization distribution of core researchers, visualization distribution of core institutions, research hotspots and evolution of research hotspots. The study shows that: Chinese higher education policy research is a continuously active research field, showing high research heat and attention; there are collaborative relationships among research institutions and higher output; research hotspots mainly focus on higher education, the United States, educational equity, private colleges and universities, classification and management, policy changes, college expansion, internationalization, local colleges and universities, and independent colleges and universities.
