Abstract:Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is becoming increasingly common. While it can be a non-progressive disorder with minimal impact, for some people, it develops into a serious disorder with significant implications for their life and health. This article outlines the pathology, epidemiology and progression of NAFLD, and it examines how people diagnosed with the disease can be advised.
