Abstract:Indonesia, as a country that doesn't close its doors to the cultural influx of other nations, has seen the entry and growth of many foreign cultures, one of which is the Korean Wave, specifically K-Pop from South Korea. The enthusiasm of K-Pop fans in Indonesia has made them a target market for various companies. Scarlett Whitening is one local skincare brand that launched co-branded products with a South Korean K-Pop idol to gain the loyalty of Indonesian K-Pop fans. Furthermore, persuasive communication from idols to their fans also supports this co-branding strategy. This research aims to describe the consumptive behavior of Indonesian K-Pop fans in purchasing the product line collaboration between Scarlett Whitening and EXO. In its discussion, this research utilizes co-branding marketing communication, persuasive communication, and fan behavior. To delve deeper into the phenomenon, a qualitative research approach is employed using phenomenological research methods. The research findings describe how co-branding and persuasive communication by EXO trigger consumptive behavior among Indonesian K-Pop fans in purchasing the collaboration products of Scarlett Whitening and EXO. The aspects of consumptive behavior exhibited by fans revolve around seeking pleasure. Elements of impulsive buying and wastefulness may still exist, but they may vary with each purchase case. Sebagai negara yang tidak menutup jembatan masuknya budaya negara lain Inoneisa telah memberikan peluang bagi negara lain untuk memperkenalkan budayanya di Indonesia. Salah satu akibatnya adalah terjadinya Korean Wave, K-Pop milik Korea Selatan. Antusiasme penggemar K-Pop di Indonesia menjadikan penggemar K-Pop sebagai target pasar yang diincar oleh berbagai perusahaan. Scarlett Whitening merupakan salah satu perusahaan local brand skincare yang meluncurkan produk co-branding dengan idola K-Pop asal Korea Selatan untuk mendapatkan loyalitas penggemar K-Pop Indonesia. Selain itu, komunikasi persuasif idola kepada penggemarnya juga turut dilakukan untuk mendukung strategi co-branding tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku konsumtif penggemar K-Pop Indonesia dalam melakukan pembelian rangkaian produk kolaborasi Scarlett Whitening dan EXO. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan komunikasi pemasaran co-branding, komunikasi persuasif dan penggemar. Untuk mendalami fenomena, digunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan co-branding dan komunikasi persuasif oleh EXO, memicu perilaku konsumtif penggemar K-Pop Indonesia dalam melakukan pembelian produk kolaborasi Scarlett Whitening dan EXO. Aspek perilaku konsumtif yang dilakukan penggemar merupakan mencari kesenangan. Aspek impulsive buying dan pemborosan dapat tetap ada, namun dalam setiap kasus pembelian dapat berbeda.
