Abstract:Let κ be an algebraically closed field of characteristic p>3 and g a restricted Lie superalgebra over κ. We introduce the definition of restricted cohomology for g and show its cohomology ring is finitely generated provided g is a basic classical Lie superalgebra. As a consequence, we show that the restricted enveloping algebra of a basic classical Lie superalgebra g is always wild except g=sl2 or g=osp(1|2) or g=C(2).

Abstract:We study the category of finite--dimensional representations for a basic classical Lie superalgebra $\Lg=\Lg_0\oplus \Lg_1$. For the ortho--symplectic Lie superalgebra $\Lg=\mathfrak{osp}(1,2n)$ we show that certain objects in that category admit a fusion flag, i.e. a sequence of graded $\Lg_0[t]$--modules such that the successive quotients are isomorphic to fusion products. Among these objects we find fusion products of finite--dimensional irreducible $\Lg$--modules, truncated Weyl modules and Demazure type modules. Moreover, we establish a presentation for these types of fusion products in terms of generators and relations of the enveloping algebra.

Representation Theory of General Linear Supergroups in Characteristic 2

Abstract:We develop representation theory of general linear groups in the category $\text{Ver}_4^+$, the simplest tensor category which is not Frobenius exact. Since $\text{Ver}_4^+$ is a reduction of the category of supervector spaces to characteristic $2$ (by a result of Venkatesh, <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1507.05142" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1507.05142">arXiv:1507.05142</a>), these groups may be viewed as general linear supergroups in characteristic $2$. More precisely, every object in $\text{Ver}_4^+$ has the form $m\mathbf{1}+nP$ where $P$ is the indecomposable projective, and $\text{GL}(m\mathbf{1}+nP)$ is the reduction to characteristic $2$ of $\text{GL}(m+n|n)$. We explicitly describe the irreducible representations of $\text{GL}(P)$ and then use this description to classify the irreducible representations of $\text{GL}(m\mathbf{1}+nP)$ for general $m,n$. We also define some subgroups of $\text{GL}(m\mathbf{1}+nP)$ and classify their irreducible representations. Finally, we conjecture a Steinberg tensor product theorem for $\text{Ver}_4^+$ involving the square of the Frobenius map.

Abstract:By a model of representations of a Lie algebra we mean a representation which is a direct sum of all irreducible finite-dimensional representations taken with multiplicity . An explicit construction of a model of representations for all classical series of simple Lie algebras is given. This construction is generic for all classical series of Lie algebras. The space of the model is constructed as the space of polynomial solutions of a system of partial differential equations, where the equations are constructed form relations between minors of matrices taken from the corresponding Lie group. This system admits a simplification very close to the GKZ system, which is satisfied by -hypergeometric functions.

Abstract:We define a class of monoidal categories whose morphisms are diagrams, and which are enhancements and generalisations of the Brauer category obtained by adjoining infinitesimal braids, "coupons" and poles. Properties of these categories are explored, particularly diagrammatic equations. We construct functors from certain of them to categories of representations of Lie algebras and superalgebras. Applications include a diagrammatic construction of the centre of the universal enveloping superalgebra and certain "characteristic identities", as well as an analysis of certain tensor representations. We show how classical diagram categories arising in invariant theory are special cases of our constructions, placing them in a single unified framework.

Abstract:I propose a definition of left/right connection along a strong homotopy Lie-Rinehart algebra. This allows me to generalize simultaneously representations up to homotopy of Lie algebroids and actions of strong homotopy Lie algebras on graded manifolds. I also discuss the Schouten-Nijenhuis calculus associated to strong homotopy Lie-Rinehart connections.

Abstract:Let g be a complex simple Lie algebra and Z ( g ) be the center of the universal enveloping algebra U ( g ) . Denote by V λ the finite-dimensional irreducible g -module with highest weight λ. Lehrer and Zhang defined the notion of strongly multiplicity free representations for simple Lie algebras motivated by studying the structure of the endomorphism algebra End U ( g ) ( V λ ⊗ r ) in terms of the quotients of the Kohno's infinitesimal braid algebra. Kostant introduced the g -invariant endomorphism algebras R λ ( g ) = ( End V λ ⊗ U ( g ) ) g and R λ , π ( g ) = ( End V λ ⊗ π ( U ( g ) ) ) g . In this paper, we give some other criteria for a multiplicity free representation to be strongly multiplicity free by classifying the pairs ( g , V λ ) , which are multiplicity free and for such pairs, R λ ( g ) and R λ , π ( g ) are generated by generalizations of the quadratic Casimir elements of Z ( g ) .

Super unitary representations revisited

Abstract:With the usual definition of a super Hilbert space and a super unitary representation, it is easy to show that there are lots of super Lie groups for which the left-regular representation is not super unitary. I will argue that weakening the definition of a super Hilbert space (by allowing the super scalar product to be non-homogeneous, not just even) will allow the left-regular representation of all (connected) super Lie groups to be super unitary (with an adapted definition). Along the way I will introduce a (super) metric on a supermanifold that will allow me to define super and non-super scalar products on function spaces and I will show that the former are intimately related to the Hodge-star operation and the Fermionic Fourier transform. The latter also allows me to decompose certain super unitary representations as a direct integral over odd parameters of a family of super unitary representations depending on these odd parameters.

Abstract:We construct a duality functor in the category of continuous representations of the Lie superalgebra E ( 4 , 4 ) , the only exceptional simple linearly compact Lie superalgebra, for which it wasn't known. This is achieved by constructing a Lie conformal superalgebra of type ( 4 , 4 ) for which E ( 4 , 4 ) is the annihilation algebra. Along the way we obtain an explicit realization of E ( 4 , 4 ) by vector fields on a ( 4 | 4 ) -dimensional supermanifold.

On tensor products of representations of Lie superalgebras

Abstract:We consider typical finite dimensional complex irreducible representations of a basic classical simple Lie superalgebra, and give a sufficient condition on when unique factorization of finite tensor products of such representations hold. We also prove unique factorization of tensor products of singly atypical finite dimensional irreducible modules for $\mathfrak{sl}(m+1,n+1)$, $\mathfrak{osp}(2,2n)$, $G(3)$ and $F(4)$ under an additional assumption. This result is a Lie superalgebra analogue of Rajan's fundamental result \cite{MR2123935} on unique factorization of tensor products for finite dimensional complex simple Lie algebras.

Abstract:In this paper, the correspondence between the finite dimensional representations of a simple Lie algebra and their characteristic polynomials is established, and a monoid structure on these characteristic polynomials is constructed. Furthermore, the characteristic polynomials of sl(2, C) on some classical simple Lie algebras through adjoint representations are studied, and we present some results of Borel subalgebras and parabolic subalgebras of simple Lie algebras through characteristic polynomials.

Abstract:In this paper, we extend the concept of Lie superalgebras to a more generalized framework called Super-Lie superalgebras. In addition, they seem to be exploring various supergeneralizations of other algebraic structures, such as Super-associative, left (right) Super-Leibniz, and Super-left(right)-symmetric superalgebras, then we give some examples and related fundamental results. The notion of Rota-Baxter operators with any parity on the Super-Lie superalgebras is given. Moreover, we study a representations of Super-Lie superalgebras and its associate dual representations. The notion of derivations of Super-Lie superalgebras is introduced thus we show that the converse of a bijective derivation defines a Rota-Baxter operator. Finally, we give a generalization of the Super-Lie superalgebras and some other structures in the ternary case which we supported this with some examples and interesting results.

A generic classification of locally free representations of affine GLS algebras

Abstract:Throughout, let $K$ be an algebraically closed field of characteristic $0$. We provide a generic classification of locally free representations of Geiss-Leclerc-Schröer's algebras $H_K(C,D,\Omega)$ associated to affine Cartan matrices $C$ with minimal symmetrizer $D$ and acyclic orientation $\Omega$. Affine GLS algebras are "smooth" degenerations of tame hereditary algebras and as such their representation theory is presumably still tractable. Indeed, we observe several "tame" phenomena of affine GLS algebras even though they are in general representation wild. For the GLS algebras of type $\tilde{BC}_1$, we achieve a classification of all stable representations. For general GLS algebras of affine type, we construct a $1$-parameter family of representations stable with respect to the defect. Our construction is based on a generalized one-point extension technique. This confirms in particular $\tau$-tilted versions of the second Brauer-Thrall Conjecture recently raised by Mousavand and Schroll-Treffinger-Valdivieso for the class of GLS algebras. Finally, we show that generically every locally free $H$-module is isomorphic to a direct sum of $\tau$-rigid modules and modules from our $1$-parameter family. This generalizes Kac's canonical decomposition from the symmetric to the symmetrizable case in affine types, and we obtain such a decomposition by "folding" the canonical decomposition of dimension vectors over path algebras. As a corollary we obtain that affine GLS algebras are $E$-tame in the sense of Derksen-Fei and Asai-Iyama.

Abstract:In this paper, we will compute the characteristic polynomials for finite dimensional representations of classical complex Lie algebras and the exceptional Lie algebra of type G2, which can be obtained through the orbits of integral weights under the action of their corresponding Weyl groups and the invariant polynomial theory of the Weyl groups. We show that the characteristic polynomials can be decomposed into products of irreducible orbital factors, each of which is invariant under the action of their corresponding Weyl groups.

Abstract:The representations of various color Lie superalgebras by Hilbert series are the main topic of this work. The Color Lie superalgebras appear in various branches of mathematics (e.g., topology, algebraic groups, etc.). They are generalized Lie superalgebras. A generating function known as the Hilbert series of color Lie superalgebras which encodes crucial knowledge about the superalgebras representation. In particular, it provides a way to count the number of states in the a given degree. We present a dimension formula that resembles Witt's formula for free color Lie superalgebras, and a specific class of color Lie p-superalgebras.

Abstract:Let $\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{g}_{\bar 0}\oplus\mathfrak{g}_{\bar 1}$ be a basic classical Lie superalgebra over an algebraically closed field $\textbf{k}$ of characteristic $p>2$. Denote by $\mathcal{Z}$ the center of the universal enveloping algebra $U(\mathfrak{g})$. Then $\mathcal{Z}$ turns out to be finitely-generated purely-even commutative algebra without nonzero divisors. In this paper, we demonstrate that the fraction $\text{Frac}(\mathcal{Z})$ is isomorphic to $\text{Frac}(\mathfrak{Z})$ for the center $\mathfrak{Z}$ of $U(\mathfrak{g}_{\bar 0})$. Consequently, both Zassenhaus varieties for $\mathfrak{g}$ and $\mathfrak{g}_{\bar 0}$ are birationally equivalent via a subalgebra $\widetilde{mathcal{Z}}\subset\mathcal{Z}$, and $\text{Spec}(\mathcal{Z})$ is rational under the standard hypotheses.
