Abstract:With the developments and applications of advanced technologies including big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing, the new digital government model has reshaped government management, business, and organizational structure. There is a development tendency that government offices, public services, and social governance are becoming digital, networked, and intelligent. In 2020, the COVID-19 epidemic broke out on a large scale in China. It has greatly tested the government's emergency management capabilities, and further accelerated its digital transformation. Digital government has become a powerful tool in response to the epidemic and the post-epidemic era. Such changes bring new opportunities and environments for the development of democratic politics.
