Abstract:We have derived alternative closed-form formulas for the trigonometric series over sine or cosine functions when the immediate replacement of the parameter appearing in the denominator with a positive integer gives rise to a singularity. By applying the Choi-Srivastava theorem, we reduce these trigonometric series to expressions over Hurwitz's zeta function derivative.

Abstract:In this note, we give an exact formula for a general family of rational zeta series involving the coefficient $\zeta(2n)$ in terms of Hurwitz zeta values. This formula generalizes two formulas from a previous paper of the first author. Our method will involve derivatives polynomials for the cotangent function.

Abstract:We give a closed-form expression for the associated Meixner polynomials from which we derive closed-form expressions for the associated Charlier and Laguerre polynomials by a limit procedure. These formulas are then used to derive generating functions of these polynomials. Also, we investigate the Mehler-Heine type asymptotic formulas for the associated Meixner and Charlier polynomials. Some applications and consequences of our results are also mentioned.

Abstract:This study deals with certain harmonic zeta functions, one of them occurs in the study of the multiplication property of the harmonic Hurwitz zeta function. The values at the negative even integers are found and Laurent expansions at poles are described. Closed-form expressions are derived for the Stieltjes constants that occur in Laurent expansions in a neighborhood of s=1. Moreover, as a bonus, it is obtained that the values at the positive odd integers of three harmonic zeta functions can be expressed in closed-form evaluations in terms of zeta values and log-sine integrals.

In this paper, we contribute to this endeavour by deriving Bernoulli's formula for $\sum_{k=1}^n k^p,$ for all positive integers $n$ and nonegative integers $p$, through the utilization of the Hermite integral representation of the Hurwitz zeta function.

Abstract:Relying on the Hurwitz formula, we find closed-form formulas for the series over sine and cosine functions through the Hurwitz zeta functions, and using them and another summation formula for trigonometric series, we obtain a finite sum for some series over the Riemann zeta functions. We apply these results to the series over Bessel functions, expressing them first as series over the Riemann zeta functions.

Abstract:We consider sums of Hurwitz class numbers of the type $\sum_{t \equiv m \pmod{M}}H(4p-t^2)$, where $M$ is composite. For $M=6$ and $8$, we show that these sums can be expressed in terms of coefficients of CM cusp forms. This leads to explicit formulas which depend on the expression of $p$ in the form $x^2+ny^2$.

Abstract:In this paper we give unified formulas for the numbers of representations of positive integers as sums of four generalized $m$-gonal numbers, and as restricted sums of four squares under a linear condition, respectively. These formulas are given as $\mathbb{Z}$-linear combinations of Hurwitz class numbers. As applications, we prove several Zhi-Wei Sun's conjectures. As by-products, we obtain formulas for expressing the Fourier coefficients of $\vartheta(\tau,z)^4$, $\eta(\tau)^{12}$, $\eta(\tau)^4$ and $\eta(\tau)^8\eta(2\tau)^8$ in terms of the Hurwitz class numbers, respectively. The proof is based on the theory of Jacobi forms.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is to investigate harmonic Stieltjes constants occurring in the Laurent expansions of the function \[ \zeta_{H}\left( s,a\right) =\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\frac{1}{\left( n+a\right) ^{s}}\sum_{k=0}^{n}\frac{1}{k+a},\text{ }\operatorname{Re}\left( s\right) >1, \] which we call harmonic Hurwitz zeta function. In particular evaluation formulas for the harmonic Stieltjes constants $\gamma_{H}\left( m,1/2\right) $ and $\gamma_{H}\left( m,1\right) $ are presented.

Abstract:By employing contour integration the derivation of a generalized double finite series involving the Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function is used to derive closed form formulae in terms of special functions. We use this procedure to find special cases of the summation and product formulae in terms of the Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function, trigonometric functions and the gamma function.

Abstract:Let be an analytic function at 0, and let be the sequence of Appell polynomials, referred to as C-polynomials associated to f , constructed from the sequence of coefficients . We also define as the sequence of C-polynomials associated to the function , called P-polynomials associated to f . This work investigates three main topics. Firstly, we examine the properties of C-polynomials and P-polynomials and the underlying features that connect them. Secondly, drawing inspiration from the definition of P-polynomials and subject to an additional condition on f , we introduce and study the bivariate complex function , which generalizes the function and is denoted by . Thirdly, the paper's main contribution is the generalization of the Hurwitz zeta function and its fundamental properties, most notably Hurwitz's formula, by constructing a novel class of functions defined by , which are intrinsically linked to C-polynomials and referred to as LC-functions associated to f (the constant is a positive integer dependent on the choice of f ).

Abstract:In this study, we present a new closed form for the generalized integral $$\int_0^1 \frac{\mathrm{Li}_2(z) \ln(1+az)}{z}\, \mathrm{d}z,$$ where $a \in \mathbb{C} \setminus(-\infty, -1)$ and $\mathrm{Li}_2(z)$ is the dilogarithm function. This extension is achieved by leveraging our established findings in conjunction with Vălean's results. Furthermore, we provide explicit closed forms for associated integrals, prove a transformation formula for double infinite series, expressing them as the sum of the square of an infinite series and another infinite series. We utilize this relationship to derive a novel closed form for the generalized series $$\sum_{k=1}^\infty \frac{ \zeta\left(m, \frac{rk-s}{r}\right) }{(rk-s)^m},$$ for $\Re(m) > 1$, $r, s \in \mathbb{C}$, where $r \neq 0$, $rk \neq s$, for any positive integer $k$, and $\zeta(s, z)$ denotes the Hurwitz zeta function. Utilizing Hermite's integral representation for $\zeta(s, z)$, we derive a generalized integral series from this series.

Abstract:We develop series representations for the Hurwitz and Riemann zeta functions in terms of generalized Bernoulli numbers (Nörlund polynomials), that give the analytic continuation of these functions to the entire complex plane. Special cases yield series representations of a wide variety of special functions and numbers, including log Gamma, the digamma, and polygamma functions. A further byproduct is that $\zeta(n)$ values emerge as nonlinear Euler sums in terms of generalized harmonic numbers. We additionally obtain series and integral representations of the first Stieltjes constant $\gamma_1(a)$. The presentation unifies some earlier results.

Abstract:Let K = Q(ζm) be the m-th cyclotomic field, K+ its maximal real subfield. Let ζF(s) denote the Dedekind Zeta function of F. Explicit formulae for the values ζK+(1 - n) and ζK(1 - n)/ζK+ (1 - n) are obtained respectively for m = ps and pq (where p, q are odd prime numbers) and for any positive integer n. These are based on recent results by F. Hazama for the p-th cyclotomic field, developing it and correcting a small coefficient-mistake of it.

Abstract:We consider sums of Hurwitz class number $H_{m,M}(n)=\sum_{t\equiv m (\text{mod} M)}{H(4n-t^2)}$, where $H(N)$ denotes the Hurwitz class number. In this article, we consider the case of $M=7$. By completing the mixed mock modular form generated by $H_{m,7}(n)$, We obtain the formula of modular forms consist of a computable part and a part from newform 49.2.a.a whose prime terms of Fourier expansion has a connection with with $p=x^2+7y^2$ $(p\equiv 1,2,4 \mod 7)$.
