Abstract:The paper is concerned with the existence and asymptotic properties of normalized ground states of the following nonlinear Schrödinger system with critical exponent: { -Δ u+λ _1 u=|u|^2^*-2u+να |u|^α -2|v|^β u, in ℝ^N, -Δ v+λ _2 v=|v|^2^*-2v+νβ |u|^α |v|^β -2v, in ℝ^N, ∫ _ℝ^Nu^2=a^2, ∫ _ℝ^Nv^2=b^2, . where N=3,4 , α ,β >1 , 2<α +β <2^*=2N/N-2 . We prove that a normalized ground state does not exist for ν <0 . When ν >0 and α +β≤ 2+4/N , we show that the system has a normalized ground state solution for 0<ν <ν _0 , the constant ν _0 will be explicitly given. In the case α +β >2+4/N we prove the existence of a threshold ν _1≥ 0 such that a normalized ground state solution exists for ν >ν _1 , and does not exist for ν <ν _1 . We also give conditions for ν _1=0 . Finally we obtain the asymptotic behavior of the minimizers as ν→ 0^+ or ν→ +∞ .

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the existence and asymptotic properties of solutions to the following Kirchhoff equation \begin{equation}\label{1}\nonumber - \Bigl(a+b\int_{\R^3} {{{\left| {\nabla u} \right|}^2}}\Bigl) \Delta u =\lambda u+ {| u |^{p - 2}}u+\mu {| u |^{q - 2}}u \text { in } \mathbb{R}^{3} \end{equation} under the normalized constraint $\int_{{\mathbb{R}^3}} {{u}^2}=c^2$, where $a\!>\!0$, $b\!>\!0$, $c\!>\!0$, $2\!<\!q\!<\!\frac{14}{3}\!<\! p\!\leq\!6$ or $\frac{14}{3}\!<\!q\!<\! p\!\leq\! 6$, $\mu\!>\!0$ and $\lambda\!\in\!\R$ appears as a Lagrange multiplier. In both cases for the range of $p$ and $q$, the Sobolev critical exponent $p\!=\!6$ is involved and the corresponding energy functional is unbounded from below on $S_c=\Big\{ u \in H^{1}({\mathbb{R}^3}): \int_{{\mathbb{R}^3}} {{u}^2}=c^2 \Big\}$. If $2\!<\!q\!<\!\frac{10}{3}$ and $\frac{14}{3}\!<\! p\!<\!6$, we obtain a multiplicity result to the equation. If $2\!<\!q\!<\!\frac{10}{3}\!<\! p\!=\!6$ or $\frac{14}{3}\!<\!q\!<\! p\!\leq\! 6$, we get a ground state solution to the equation. Furthermore, we derive several asymptotic results on the obtained normalized solutions. Our results extend the results of N. Soave (J. Differential Equations 2020 $\&$ J. Funct. Anal. 2020), which studied the nonlinear Schrödinger equations with combined nonlinearities, to the Kirchhoff equations. To deal with the special difficulties created by the nonlocal term $({\int_{\R^3} {\left| {\nabla u} \right|} ^2}) \Delta u$ appearing in Kirchhoff type equations, we develop a perturbed Pohozaev constraint approach and we find a way to get a clear picture of the profile of the fiber map via careful analysis. In the meantime, we need some subtle energy estimates under the $L^2$-constraint to recover compactness in the Sobolev critical case.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the following Kirchhoff type equation \begin{equation*} \begin{cases} - \displaystyle \Big ( a+b\int_{\mathbb{R}^3}|\nabla u|^2 \Big ) \Delta u-\lambda u=f(u), & \textrm{in}\,\,\mathbb{R}^3,\\[3mm] u\in H^1(\mathbb{R}^3), \end{cases} \end{equation*} with an $L^2$ constraint $\int_{\mathbb{R}^3}|u|^2dx=m$, where $a,b,m > 0$, $\lambda\in\mathbb{R}$ will arise as a Lagrange multiplier and the nonlinearity $f$ is merely continuous and satisfies general mass supercritical conditions. Both in the Sobolev subcritical and critical cases, we establish the existence of ground states to this problem and derive some basic behavior of the ground state energy $E_m$ when $m > 0$ varies. Our results generalize and improve the ones in [L. Jeanjean, S.-S. Lu, Calc. Var. 59, 174 (2020)] and other related literature.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a class of non-autonomous Kirchhoff equations with two nonnegative potentials in ( ). Under certain basic assumptions on the potentials, the existence and nonexistence of normalized ground state solutions are classified completely by investigating equivalently the associated -constrained minimization problem. Based on some delicate estimates of the corresponding energy functional, the limit behavior of normalized ground state solutions is also analyzed as the prescribed -norm goes to infinity. Our main results extend and complement some known related results in the literature.

Using Pohozaev manifold and the concentration-compactness principle, we obtain a couple of the normalized solution to $ (P_m) $. The main contribution is related to the fact that we extend the results of L. Jeanjean, S. Lu published in 2020 on Calc. Var. [21] concerning the above problem from Sobolev subcritical setting to Sobolev critical setting, and our results answer an open problem raised by N. Soave published in 2020 on J. Funct. Anal. [37].

Abstract:In this article, we study the following Kirchhoff equation with combined nonlinearities: where a , b , c > 0 , μ , λ ∈ R , 2 < q < 4 . Under different assumptions on b , c > 0 and μ ∈ R , we prove some existence, nonexistence, and asymptotic behavior of the obtained normalized solutions. When μ > 0 :(i) for 2 < q < 3 , we obtain the existence of a local minimizer ground-state solution and a mountain-pass-type solution, (ii) for q = 3 and 3 < q < 4 , we obtain the existence of a mountain-pass type ground-state solution respectively, under different assumptions. When μ < 0 and 2 < q < 4 , we prove the nonexistence result of the aforementioned problem. We also investigate the asymptotic behavior of the normalized ground-state solutions, when μ → 0 + and b → 0 + , respectively.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence of normalized solutions to the following nonlinear Schrödinger equation \begin{equation*} \left\{ \begin{aligned} &-\Delta u=f(u)+ \lambda u\quad \mbox{in}\ \mathbb{R}^{N},\\ &u\in H^1(\mathbb{R}^N), ~~~\int_{\mathbb{R}^N}|u|^2dx=c, \end{aligned} \right. \end{equation*} where $N\ge3$, $c>0$, $\lambda\in \mathbb{R}$ and $f$ has a Sobolev critical growth at infinity but does not satisfies the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition. By analysing the monotonicity of the ground state energy with respect to $c$, we develop a constrained minimization approach to establish the existence of normalized ground state solutions for all $c>0$.

Abstract:Consider the equation \begin{equation*} -\Delta_p u =\lambda |u|^{p-2}u+\mu|u|^{q-2}u+|u|^{p^\ast-2}u\ \ {\rm in}\ \R^N \end{equation*} under the normalized constraint $$\int_{ \R^N}|u|^p=c^p,$$ where $-\Delta_pu={\rm div} (|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u)$, $1<p<N$, $p<q<p^\ast=\frac{Np}{N-p}$, $c,\mu>0$ and $\lambda\in\R$. In the purely $L^p$-subcritical case, we obtain the existence of ground state solution by virtue of truncation technique, and obtain multiplicity of normalized solutions. In the purely $L^p$-critical and supercritical case, we drive the existence of positive ground state solution, respectively. Finally, we investigate the asymptotic behavior of ground state solutions obtained above as $\mu\to0^+$.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence and properties of normalized solutions for the following Sobolev critical Schrodinger equation involving Hardy term:- -Delta u-similar to mu/|X|(2) u = lambda u+ |u|(2*-2)+v|u|(p-2) in, R-n >= 3, with prescribed mass integral(n)(R) u(2)= a(2), where 2(*)is the Sobolev critical exponent. For a L-2-subcritical,L-2-critical, or 2-supercritical perturbation similar to v|u|(p-2)u, we prove several existence results of normalized ground state when nu >= 0 and non-existence results when nu <= 0. Furthermore, we also consider the asymptotic behavior of the normalized solutions as mu -> 0or nu -> 0.

We establish existence and multiplicity results and further demonstrate the existence of ground state solutions under the suitable range of $\alpha$. We demonstrate the existence of solution in the case of $q$ is $L^2-$supercritical and $p= \frac{2N-\mu}{N-2}$, which is not investigated in the literature till now. In addition, we present certain asymptotic properties of the solutions. To establish the existence results, we rely on variational methods, with a particular focus on the mountain pass theorem, the min-max principle, and Ekeland's variational principle.

Abstract:In this paper, we are concerned with a Kirchhoff-Choquard type equation with L2-prescribed mass. Under different cases of the potential, we prove the existence of normalized ground state solutions to this equation. To obtain the boundedness from below of the energy functional and the compactness of the minimizing sequence, we apply the Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequality with the Riesz potential and the relationship between the different minimal energies corresponding to different mass. We also extend the results to the fractional Kirchhoff-Choquard type equation.

Abstract:In this paper, we are concerned with normalized solutions of the Kirchhoff type equation \begin{equation*} -M\left(\int_{\R^N}|\nabla u|^2\mathrm{d} x\right)\Delta u = \lambda u +f(u) \ \ \mathrm{in} \ \ \mathbb{R}^N \end{equation*} with $u \in S_c:=\left\{u \in H^1(\R^N): \int_{\R^N}u^2 \mathrm{d}x=c^2\right\}$. When $N=2$ and $f$ has exponential critical growth at infinity, normalized mountain pass type solutions are obtained via the variational methods. When $N \ge 4$, $M(t)=a+bt$ with $a$, $b>0$ and $f$ has Sobolev critical growth at infinity, we investigate the existence of normalized ground state solutions and normalized mountain pass type solutions. Moreover, the non-existence of normalized solutions is also considered.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the qualitative analysis of solutions for the following Kirchhoff equation with mixed nonlinearities with prescribed mass , where , , , , . We prove several existence results to the above problem, where is a positive parameter. Here, is the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev upper critical exponent, which can be seen as the Sobolev critical exponent . The proof of the Palais-Smale condition is a challenge when . So we present a different method of dealing with compactness compared to the general way handling the Sobolev critical term. Finally, while for the defocusing situation , we prove an existence result by constructing a minimax characterization for the energy functional.
