Abstract:As an important part of the city's cultural heritage, historical and cultural blocks have witnessed the city's historical changes, leaving many valuable natural and human resources. However, after many years of baptism, historical and cultural blocks, now the destruction of buildings and cultural relics, poor living environment, frequent population flow, these are obviously not in line with the modern city, the direction of urban development. In order to promote the revival of historical and cultural blocks, it is imperative to renovate the blocks, which is also an inevitable measure under the background of urban renewal. LianBaoLi Historic and cultural district, as the root of Wuhan City and the source of its history, is one of the outstanding historic buildings in Wuhan. Its renewal is conducive to the spread of Wuhan's historical and architectural culture, to drive high-quality development in Wuhan. In addition, the public is the main body of the renewal of the historical and cultural blocks, studying their awareness of the renewal of the historical and cultural blocks in LianBaoLi , to measure the effect of the implementation of the block renewal policy, to identify whether there is any deviation between the public cognition and the cognition of the public policy makers, and to provide some solutions for the sustainable development of the historical and cultural block in LianBaoLi ,to add to Wuhan's urban fabric.

Abstract:In recent years, with the attention to traditional culture and the development of tourism, the protection and utilization of ancient residential buildings in Huizhou have gradually become a hot spot in research. Taking Shichun Village in Wuyuan County as a typical case, this study discusses the activation and utilization methods and strategies of Hui style architecture. Through this study, we find that the revitalization and utilization of ancient residential buildings in Huizhou should be strategically renovated and restored in combination with modern needs on the basis of protecting traditional culture, and giving full play to their unique artistic and cultural value. At the same time, the practical case of Shichun Village in Wuyuan County provides an important reference for the activation and utilization of ancient residential buildings. It is hoped that this study will have practical guiding significance for promoting the protection and utilization of ancient residential buildings in Huizhou.

Abstract:Henan Zhuxianzhen woodblock prints is the originator of Chinese woodblock prints and a treasure of Chinese classic traditional culture, which not only carries the reverence and praise of generations of Kaifeng craftsmen for woodblock prints, but also carries the deep historical memory and rich cultural connotation of the Chinese nation. However, the protection and inheritance of non-heritage work is not an overnight thing, through the publicity and promotion of Zhuxianzhen woodblock prints, can enhance public awareness and understanding of non-heritage culture, and improve the cultural consciousness and cultural self-confidence of the whole society. This paper will mainly focus on the inheritance and protection of Zhuxianzhen woodblock prints and the current situation of the cultural development of the market situation of the two aspects of the analysis and research, and at the same time for the problems existing at this stage of the proposal has a strong focus on the resolution of the measures.
Research into the Preservation and Renewal Patterns of Ancient Towns:A Case Study of Heping,Fujian,P.R.China

Abstract:Preservation and renewal of ancient towns has become a difficult problem as tourism has increased in these communities.This article presents a case study of Heping ancient town in Northern Fujian province,P.R.China.Based on interviews with local residents and additional investigation,the authors maintain that the preservation and renewal problems resulted from a poor regional economy,declining historical function and various value concepts.The authors also draw on preservation and renewal experiences and lessons in the ancient towns of Zhouzhuang and Lijiang.Preservation and construction contradictions can be resolved and the sustainable development and protection of ancient towns promoted only if the following are present: practical conditions in different areas of the town,effective government-led functions at all levels,wide public participation,and multiple preservation and renewal patterns supported by planners and architects.

Abstract:With the acceleration of urbanization and the promotion of economic development, the balance between historical building protection and modern urban renewal has become an important issue faced by many cities. As an important component of urban cultural heritage, historical buildings not only have unique historical and artistic value, but also carry rich cultural memories and social significance. However, with the pressure of urban development and the demand for resource utilization, historical buildings often face the risk of destruction, loss, or even abandonment. With the rapid development of urbanization, old buildings and streets are also being updated simultaneously, but in the mainstream trend, streets and urban buildings are gradually converging with little distinctive features. Based on the protection of historical buildings and living environment, this article takes Tanhualin Street in Wuhan as an example to integrate local culture into the architecture and environment, and create a Wuhan street with local characteristics.

Abstract:With the rapid development of urbanization, urban planning will inevitably be accompanied by discussions on the transformation of old communities. How to integrate and develop the transformation of old communities with the renewal and protection of historical and cultural blocks is also the object of our research. Regarding the creation of the atmosphere of the public space in the old quarters in the historical and cultural blocks, it is the inheritance of the historical context in the urban planning. Taking the transformation of Wuhan Tanhualin community as an example, based on the theory of urban acupuncture and moxibustion, this article discusses the planning strategy of how to solve the public space transformation of old communities in historical and cultural districts at multiple levels and multiple dimensions. Conduct public space analysis and public life surveys on old communities through literature analysis and field research methods, put forward strategies for the transformation of old communities in emergent public health safety incidents, and advocate low-impact development construction methods to realize the old community areas Sustainable development. When dealing with the connection between the new and the old space, it can establish a visual dialogue relationship between the new and the old space, and at the same time establish the historical and humanistic resonance effect between the public space and the historical and cultural block. Abstract:As a special part of the city, historic district is a unique scarce resource, which combines various functions and cultural memory. However, looking at the protection of historical and cultural blocks in our country, its transformation mode is either to carry out demolition and reconstruction, or to be in a rigid static protection. How to explore a sustainable development road that balances development and protection is very important for historical and cultural blocks. From the perspective of tourists' perception, through qualitative research and comparative study on tourists' online comment text, the change of tourists' perception of the study area is obtained, which provides a new way for evaluating the renewal strategy of historical and cultural blocks. The findings are as follows: (1) Tourists' perception of historical and cultural blocks mainly includes the landscape style of the blocks, the commercial form of the blocks, the traffic environment and the cultural atmosphere of the blocks. (2) The reason for the difference in tourists' perception lies in the value orientation and implementation effect of the renewal strategy. (3) The development dilemma of Nanluoguxiang lies in the low quality of commercial forms within the block, the high traffic pressure within the block and the high degree of homogeneity of entrepreneurial forms. Throughout the renewal process of historical and cultural blocks, it can be said to be a microcosm of urban renewal to some extent.

Abstract:Fujian Tubao, a defensive residential structure predominantly found in central Fujian, represents a significant cultural heritage of the region. However, with the rapid urbanization underway, Fujian Tubao faces the threat of extinction, presenting severe challenges to its survival and development. Identifying a sustainable development path for Fujian Tubao is crucial for preserving regional culture. This study uses Fuxing Bao, a quintessential example of Fujian Tubao, as a case study to explore conservation methods based on adaptive reuse. Through field surveys, questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and case studies, we analyze the historical background of the building, focusing on the current physical and social environment of Fuxing Bao. Our findings indicate that the current state of preservation of Fuxing Bao can meet the requirements for adaptive reuse. By integrating results from surveys and interviews with local villagers, we propose sustainable development strategies and conservation methods. This research offers a sustainable development model for Fujian Tubao and other traditional regional dwellings. By adopting an adaptive reuse perspective, it aims to better address the conflict between modern living and traditional architectural preservation, ensuring that these architectural spaces are properly protected and continue to play a unique role in contemporary society.
