Abstract:Constructing multi-component heterostructure based on Ti3C2Tx MXene can alleviate electromagnetic pollution. In this work, porous micro-antennas decorated turbostratic graphitized carbon/TiO2 derived from polyaniline (PANI)/Ti3C2Tx was fabricated via in-situ polymerization, carbonization, and KOH activation. As activation temperature increased, an intriguing phenomenon was found that the graphitization degree was enhanced and the crystallinity was thoroughly destroyed. The results showed that turbostratic graphitized carbon formed from PANI and MXene precursors, exhibiting higher graphitization degree and no orientation due to the interruption of pores. Besides, the transformation from ordered graphitized carbon into turbostratic carbon during KOH activation was proposed. And the formation mechanism of the micro-antennas from one-dimensional PANI nanotubes and effects on electromagnetic wave absorption were discussed. This absorber exhibited a minimum reflection loss of −58.80 dB at 15.5 GHz and an effective absorption bandwidth of 7.2 GHz (10.8–18 GHz) at a filler loading of 30 wt%.
