Abstract:The purpose of the article is to study the audit procedures for fixed assets in the enterprise in modern conditions of market relations. The methodology consists in the use of the following methods: method of observation, methods of analysis and synthesis, classification, induction and deduction, comparison, method of generalization. The scientific novelty of the work is to improve the audit procedures for fixed assets, which will improve the quality of the audit of fixed assets and, consequently, increase the efficiency of accounting and internal control at the enterprise. Conclusions. The implementation of audit procedures for fixed assets involves a multi-criteria approach, when the criteria form a single system that allows to meet the requirements of the decision-making process during the audit of fixed assets and to form a rational and effective decision. The audit of fixed assets of the enterprise allows not only to influence the organization of the audit process, but also to optimize the structural and logical parts of the methodology of audit of fixed assets of the enterprise due to the use of modern information technology. Abstract:Asset appraisal occupies an important position in the market economy of cash. The legal compliance development of the asset appraisal business requires procedural work such as revising contracts and basic matters, making plans, conducting research and data collection so that businesses and other users of asset appraisal reports can obtain reliable appraisal reports. However, due to the impact of profit-seeking, institutional independence, report use beyond the scope, macroeconomic environmental fluctuations and other factors, asset appraisers may produce a lot of legal risks when conducting value evaluation and estimation activities, which will make enterprises, evaluation institutions and other asset appraisal participants bear certain civil liability and economic losses. Therefore, in order to ensure the sustainable and healthy development of the asset appraisal industry, it is necessary to actively explore the preventive measures of various asset appraisal risks. This paper focuses on the connotation of asset assessment risk, discusses many problems in specific operation and how to effectively establish asset assessment risk prevention system.

Abstract:Introduction. The structure of a modern enterprise is mainly characterized by the presence of a large number of fixed assets. The aviation industry is no exception, which is why most businesses in this area build their operations using a significant amount of non-current assets. Drawing on the experience of domestic and foreign companies, it should be noted that an internal and external audit is one of the most important stages of managing non-current assets. Therefore, it should be noted that the proper work of the auditor, namely the effective methodology used to carry out the procedure, the use of the optimal plan and the necessary steps, is the key to expressing an objective audit opinion, on the basis of which the company will be able to make sound management decisions The purpose of the paper is to investigate the peculiarities of construction of the process of audit of fixed assets at aviation enterprises. Results. The audit may be carried out on the initiative of the enterprise and in cases provided for by law. Three groups of auditors should be distinguished: state, internal, independent. The audit process, in order to increase its effectiveness, should be clearly planned and take into account the specific nature of the enterprise. The objectives of the audit of fixed assets are: checking the existence of assets at a certain date, checking the accuracy of registration of their receipt, use and disposal, as well as ownership of them. Checking the valuation of fixed assets. When designing the audit process, the auditor should be aware that most aviation industry entities have a large number of leased property in their non-current assets, accompanied by accounting features and nuances. Conclusion. In the course of the research it was found that audit of fixed assets of an enterprise is one of the most important processes in carrying out an activity regardless of its direction. Audit of non-current assets in the aviation industry has its own peculiarities, but properly planned and methodically constructed process of verification will eventually lead to the expression of objective audit opinion, which will become the basis for management decisions.

Abstract:This article outlines the features of the audit of costs for the improvement of fixed assets at the enterprise. One of the important tasks facing the accounting department is to provide information about expenses on improvement of fixed assets for the purpose of effective management of production and financial activities of the company. It is investigated that the main task of asset audit is the collection and processing of reliable information about assets and the formation of audit opinions on this basis. It was found that in the process of organizing an audit, the internal audit of the company becomes important. It is noted that during the audit of assets an important role in the work of the auditor is played by the formation of working documents that the auditor uses in planning, preparing and conducting inspections, summarizing their data. The list of expenses for improvement of fixed assets for the basic enterprise is covered and outlined the directions of improving the accounting, analysis and audit of costs for the improvement of fixed assets.

Abstract:The article is devoted to the issues of accounting of fixed assets in organizations, whose securities are circulated by the organizers of trade on the securities market. These organizations include public joint stock companies, which are subject to mandatory audit. In the auditor's reports issued to such organizations, in accordance with the requirements of ISA 701 "Key Audit Matters", key audit matters should be disclosed. Very often, auditors choose such key issues as "fixed assets" and "capital investments", especially on the eve of the entry into force from January 1, 2022 of the new accounting standards - FSBU 6/2020 "Fixed assets" and FSBU 26 / 2020 "Capital investments". The article discusses the features of accounting for fixed assets and capital investments, due to which auditors assess the risk of misstatement of accounting (financial) statements as increasing and conduct audit procedures to identify such prerequisites for the formation of statements as the valuation of fixed assets and rights to them belonging to the reporting organization.

Abstract:The article deals with the organization and methodological aspects of fixed assets accounting. Disclosed problematic points in the accounting of fixed assets. The primary documents on registration and accounting of receipts and write-offs of fixed assets are presented. WAYS TO IMPROVE CONSTRUCTION EFFICIENCY

Abstract:The article examines the existing accounting approaches to determining the essence, assessment, order of reflection in the accounting records of companies and disclosure in financial statements of information on fixed assets as a component of non-current (long-term) assets according to national and international accounting standards (international financial reporting standards). The purpose of the study is to compare the existing requirements of the national and international practice of the accounting policy of fixed assets of the enterprise: definition of fixed assets, the structure of the formation of the initial cost, maintenance costs, methods of calculating depreciation and the order of disposal, identifying common features and differences in the accounting system in order to achieve harmonization of accounting in the world spacious A comparison of the requirements of domestic legislative norms with international standards regarding the recognition and determination of fixed assets, the procedure for forming the initial value of objects, revaluation methods, the procedure for writing off fixed assets from the company's balance sheet, methods for calculating the depreciation of fixed assets and displaying information about fixed assets in the company's financial statements was carried out . The dependence of the separation of low-value non-current material assets from the composition of fixed assets on the established criterion of "materiality" and their write-off for enterprise expenses is established. The absence of the concept of "non-production fixed assets" in the international standards, which is common in national legislation, of the division of fixed assets into classes for accounting purposes was revealed. The division of the object of fixed assets into components for the purpose of calculating depreciation is considered. Differences in methods of calculating depreciation according to national and international accounting standards, revaluation methods and features of determining fair value according to international practice are analyzed. Ways of harmonizing national and international standards in terms of fixed assets, which require clarification and detailing in order to improve the efficiency of operations and the financial condition of the enterprise, are proposed. The results of the conducted research have theoretical and practical value, because in the conditions of youth mobility, workload of practicing accountants and other specialists, there is a need for a wider coverage of practical aspects of accounting according to international standards and can be used in the accounting process of enterprises making the transition to international accounting practice.

Abstract:The article reveals the methodology of the audit at motor transport enterprises of Ukraine. One of the most important parts of the development of Ukraine’s productive forces is the transport industry, which provides production and circulation processes, transporting manufactured products to the month of its sale and consumption, as well as providing passenger transportation services. Today, almost every company, regardless of its economic activity, owns its own vehicles. But for trucking companies, cars are the main means of providing services. That is why the issue of effective use of motorsports, which is impossible without a quality audit, is quite relevant. Methods of auditing fixed assets at motor transport enterprises of Ukraine, as well as at other types of enterprises, defined by International Standards on Auditing. In accordance with ISA 200 «Purpose and Basic Principles of Auditing Financial Statements», the purpose of an audit of property, plant and equipment is for the auditor to express an independent professional opinion on the correctness of the entity’s financial statements. The article considers the main tasks of the audit of fixed assets in motor transport enterprises, as well as the main procedures used in the audit of fixed assets. The paper proves the importance and necessity of auditing the accounting of fixed assets at motor transport enterprises, because the effectiveness of their use affects the cost of motor transport services and as a consequence on the financial results of transport enterprises of Ukraine. The article also presents a test of internal control of fixed assets at the trucking company, which should be carried out at the preparatory stage of the audit of fixed assets and provide the auditor with the necessary information to develop an optimal audit program, taking into account the activities of the trucking company. In addition, the article provides samples of working documents of the auditor during the inspection of fixed assets at the trucking company.

Abstract:The article substantiates that the most reliable and effective mechanism for timely detection of various violations and manipulations in the accounting system of business entities that carry out foreign trade operations is a well-established system of audit of foreign economic activity. The work is devoted to a comprehensive study of the factors influencing the audit of foreign economic activity and highlighting its principles, rules and restrictions for the development of a comprehensive program of audit of foreign economic transactions and recommendations for improving its individual areas. Based on the results of the study of the peculiarities of foreign economic activity, the article groups the factors that affect the audit of foreign trade transactions. The most important ones are: participation in foreign trade operations of non-residents; duration of foreign trade operations; foreign currency settlements; cost centers; the global COVID-19 pandemic; features of "customs audit"; the need to form a CbC report; tax risk assessment. It is proved that the basis of the methodology and organization of the audit of foreign economic activity is its defining principles. Having studied the main provisions of regulations and the basic principles of auditing, highlighted in the scientific literature, they were adapted to the peculiarities of the audit of foreign economic activity. The principles of foreign economic activity audit are grouped into 8 groups: general, ethical, regulatory, organizational, methodological, professional, economic and technical. The general principles of foreign economic activity audit are decisive for audits of any areas of accounting and financial reporting. Adherence to ethical auditing principles is a determining factor in maintaining the reputation of any audit firm. At each stage of the audit, the auditor must adhere to regulatory principles, namely: the application of standards, self-regulation of the profession, compliance with the law, the contractual basis of the relationship. It is proved that at the planning stage the organizational principles of FEA audit are of special importance. Adherence to the methodological principles of the FEA audit allows the auditor to adapt the tools of the sample survey to the specifics of foreign trade operations. Adherence to professional principles will allow you to achieve the highest standards of professionalism and the best results of the audit. Economic principles determine the financial, material and other constraints in the relationship between the subject of foreign economic activity and the audit firm. In terms of information science, the audit requires appropriate information support and compliance with technical principles. The researched conceptual principles of FEA audit should be constantly taken into account during the development of the plan, comprehensive program, tests of audit of foreign economic operations and recommendations for improving its individual areas.

Abstract:The article summarizes today’s theoretical aspects of the notion ‘working assets’ and their management with focus on the most widely used in Russia ideas about this group of enterprise and organization assets. At the same time the author provides findings of academic research by classics of economic theory and finance management (F. Kene, A. Smith, D. Ricardo, K. Marx) and present day scientists and experts. While studying academic works by today’s scientists the most frequently used in Russia definitions of the notion ‘working assets’ were identified. The author gave explanations, which allow us to see the differences between non-current and working assets of business entities. Apart from that, the effective legal aspects of managing working assets by corporations were studied with focus on describing the procedure of their fixing in forms of periodical accounting and showing material costs. The article provides different types of working asset management, depicts groups of methods for working asset management and gives a list of the most widely used tools for effective management of working assets in the system of finance management of Russian corporations.
Improving the Organization of Accounting of Fixed Assets of a Trading Enterprise

Abstract:The article is aimed at identifying the existing accounting problems of a trading enterprise and providing recommendations for improving the organization of accounting for fixed assets of an economic entity. It is defined that the flow of incoming documents at an enterprise is an organized, coordinated process of moving documents from one responsible person to another according to the document turnover schedule developed and approved by the enterprise. The author studies the stages of organization of document turnover at an enterprise, compliance with which prevents loss of information on business transactions. Based on the analysis of the existing problems and errors in the accounting of the enterprise «Desega Holding Ukraine» LLC, it is proposed to conduct regular internal or audit checks on the accounting of fixed assets, the tasks of which are to analyze and control the operations of accounting for fixed assets. It is determined that in order to improve the technical condition of fixed assets, it is recommended that a trade enterprise carry out reconstruction and modernization of existing fixed assets. It is found that an important measure that facilitates the implementation of operations, in particular the movement of fixed assets, is internal control and analysis, for which the company has introduced the position of internal auditor, whose functions include control and analysis: the correctness of the attribution of tangible assets to fixed assets, their valuation, the correctness of computations of depreciation, timeliness and correctness of documentation, and reflection in the accounting registers of receipt and disposal of fixed assets, etc. To improve the accounting of fixed assets, it is proposed to create new analytical subaccounts on the basis of account 131 «Depreciation of fixed assets» - to allocate the accrued depreciation in accordance with the groups of fixed assets used at the enterprise. The stages of computerization of the accounting process are studied. On the basis of the carried out analysis of the IT market of computer technologies and systems, alternative domestic and foreign software products (services) that effectively provide accounting and electronic document management instead of the software product used by the trading enterprise are identified. When choosing a software product, «Desega Holding Ukraine» LLC should pay attention to the availability of technical settings for processing significant information data arrays for the industry capabilities of the enterprise. The author has developed a model of electronic document turnover for organization of fixed assets accounting in the management subsystem of a trade enterprise, which demonstrates the modules of an alternative software product, including the organization of electronic document turnover for the performed operations on fixed assets accounting. The proposals and recommendations provided will contribute to the effective organization of fixed assets accounting and managerial decisions that will lead to a more positive financial result of the trade enterprise.

Abstract:The article examines and analyzes the views of domestic and foreign scientists regarding the essence of the concept of “fixed assets” as an accounting and analytical category. The main differences in the interpretation of the term “fixed assets” in the current legal acts have been identified. On the basis of the conducted analysis, the concept of “fixed assets” is generalized. The system of normative legal acts on the regulation of accounting of fixed assets in Ukraine, a number of laws and normative acts regulating the organization of accounting at enterprises were considered. The goal of state regulation of accounting and financial reporting has been studied. Features of accounting and tax accounting of fixed assets are defined. Order No 73 of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine “On approval of the National Regulation (standard) of accounting 1” General requirements for financial reporting was analyzed in comparison with Regulations (standards) of accounting 1–5. Order No 73 dated February 7, 2013 introduced new forms of financial reporting that are as close as possible to IFRS. Also, the difference between Regulation (standard) of accounting 7 “Fixed Assets” and IAS16 “Fixed Assets” is clarified and shown. It is found that the difference lies in the scope of application, the objects of assessment and the details of the cost assessment taken into account in these two normative documents, depending on the scope of the organizations that use them. It was determined that Regulation (standard) of accounting 7 “Fixed Assets” defines the methodological principles of forming in accounting information about fixed assets and other non-current assets, their classification, as well as disclosure of information about them in financial reporting. According to the results of the identified discrepancies, which prevent companies that keep records according to national standards, it is easier to enter the international market. it is proposed to bring national standards closer to international ones, and especially Regulation (standard) of accounting 7 “Fixed Assets”, this will allow to harmonize domestic accounting with international standards and reduce inconsistencies and problematic issues of accounting for fixed assets.

Abstract:Introduction. An important condition for the development of the agricultural sector is the timely receipt of reliable and complete accounting information on the availability and condition of fixed assets for the purposes of managing their use. To a large extent, the effectiveness of this type of assets is determined by the quality of management decisions. Given this, there is a need to use methods of analysis, as one of the most important management functions in the audit of fixed assets, which will properly assess and control their use. The use of analysis as a tool for evaluating the internal audit system fully meets the objectives of creating effective management of fixed assets and will allow their rational use through timely detection and elimination of negative impacts on the internal audit system and its effectiveness. Purpose. The purpose of writing this article is to assess the existing principles of audit of fixed assets in the agricultural sector of the economy and justify on their basis the organizational scheme of internal audit in agricultural enterprises. Results. Based on the substantiation of the principles of audit activity, the directions of activity of the internal audit service of agricultural enterprises are determined. The study of the formation of goals and functions of the internal audit unit at enterprises made it possible to develop a scheme for the organization of internal audit in the agricultural sector. On this basis, the method of internal audit of fixed assets in the basic areas, as well as the stages of its implementation. The peculiarity of the internal audit at agricultural enterprises is established, which provides for a systematic assessment and control of its quality.

Abstract:Introduction. The article analyzes the norms of current legislation in the field of foreign direct investment and taxation of transactions caused by the introduction of founding foreign investment. The essence of enterprises with foreign investments is revealed and the manifestations of foreign investment are determined. The procedure for making foreign investments in the authorized capital of business structures is outlined. Forms of foreign investment are described. The sources of equity formation of enterprises with foreign investments are given. Peculiarities of deposits to enterprises with foreign investments are determined. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the founders of enterprises with foreign investment have the opportunity to make contributions to the authorized capital with both cash and non-financial assets. The procedure for evaluating founding investments has been studied. The order of accounting reflection of formation of the authorized capital of the enterprises with foreign investments is outlined. The peculiarities of accounting and reporting of the founders' contributions to the authorized capital of enterprises with foreign investment are revealed. It is determined that the recognition of liabilities of non-resident founders for contributions to the authorized capital in foreign currency are both monetary and non-monetary balance sheet items. The method of accounting for positive and negative exchange rate differences is presented. Goal. Elucidation of the order of accounting reflection of the authorized capital at the enterprises with foreign investments and expression of offers on improvement of the account of the researched object. Method (methodology). General scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction), empirical theoretical (formalization, hypothetical) and empirical methodological methods of research (computational and analytical, implementation of results in practice, reporting of economic activity). Results. In order to accurately account for information on exchange differences, recognition of the founders' obligations on contributions to the authorized capital in foreign currency, it is proposed to reflect them in a separate analytical account, which should be opened in sub-account 423 "Accumulated exchange differences". Proposals have been made to improve the order of reflection in the accounting system of enterprises with foreign investment, exchange rate differences recognized as a result of revaluation of liabilities of non-resident founders on contributions to the registered capital.

Particular attention is paid to the analysis of federal accounting standards governing the accounting of fixed assets, which come into effect from 2022. Results. Changes in regulations governing the procedure for conducting accounting and tax accounting require adjustments and methods of verification by internal controllers. Fixed assets are components of the material and technical base of the enterprise, allow increasing sales, producing quality products and increasing attractiveness in the eyes of investors. The introduction of new accounting standards, as well as the strengthening of administration by the regulatory authorities, require a revision of internal local documents and changes to the internal control methods. The directions of the organization of internal control of fixed assets, practical examples of incorrect reflection in the accounting of assets and the consequences leading to additional taxes are considered. The risks of theft and ineffective use of fixed assets arise from both managers and employees of the enterprise. Properly organized internal control will help identify fraud patterns and reduce the risks of damage to the enterprise. The paper proposes step-by-step algorithms for organizing internal control for the main business operations associated with the use of fixed assets. Namely, the algorithm for checking the accrued depreciation, repair costs, documents confirming the liquidation of fixed assets. Errors made in the formation of the initial cost can lead to a distortion of the cost, the book value of fixed assets and lead to an incorrect calculation of income tax and property tax of organizations.
