Abstract:The traditional teacher-education was in a dilemma that the teaching theory and the teaching practice couldn't be connected and integrated. However, teaching through cases raised our hopes. Cases as used in teacher-education should be true, typical, inspiring, investigatable and opening. Teaching through cases can be divided into three stages. Teaching through cases should be done by discussing, coaperating, criticizing, reflecting, slmultaneonoly advemcing reflection, simultaneous advance of theory and practice and developing both teachers and stndents. The analysis of cases should focus on microscopic and macroscopic, success and failure, theory and practice. In order to connect and integrate the teaching theory and the teaching practice. It should activate and expose the teaching practical intelligence, disconstruct and reconstruct the teaching practice, illuminate and refine the teaching theory, face and focus the curriculum and teaching reform.
