Abstract:In modern agriculture, the integration of effective data analytics and web applications has the potential to revolutionize agricultural practices. However, Bangladesh’s agricultural sector encounters notable hurdles like delayed information, insufficient issue identification, and communication gaps between farmers and agricultural experts. Moreover, the failure to detect and address potential problems early worsens crop damage and losses. This paper explores a web application with an integrated relational database designed to address critical challenges in agriculture, aiming to enhance productivity and sustainability. The study utilizes data from Kaggle datasets, including soil pH, temperature, moisture, nutrient levels, crop data, and weather information, for informed decision-making. A comprehensive literature review were conducted to support the research and development of this web application. Alerts triggered within the web application enable proactive intervention when data surpasses predefined thresholds, enabling timely issue resolution. Field officers and farmers in designated areas can continuously monitor farm data and engage in real-time communication via smartphone integration. In instances where farmers lack smartphones, field officers facilitate communication and collaborate with agronomists to address concerns promptly. The main goal of this paper is to enhance productivity, sustainability, and data management in Bangladesh’s agricultural sector. Upon implementation, the web application is anticipated to make an immense impact on society by improving agricultural practices, increasing crop yield, reducing losses, and fostering better communication and collaboration between farmers and agricultural experts.
