Abstract:Let $ X $ and $ Y $ be Banach spaces. We provide the representation of the dual space of compact operators $ K(X, Y) $ as a subspace of bounded linear operators $ \mathcal{L}(X, Y) $. The main results are: (1) If $ Y $ is separable, then the dual forms of $ K(X, Y) $ can be represented by the integral operator and the elements of $ C[0, 1] $. (2) If $ X^{**} $ has the weak Radon-Nikodym property, then the dual forms of $ K(X, Y) $ can be represented by the trace of some tensor products.

Abstract:A decomposition space (also called 2-Segal space) is a simplicial object satisfying an exactness condition weaker than the Segal condition: just as the Segal condition expresses composition, the new condition expresses decomposition. It is a general framework for incidence (co)algebras. In this contribution, after establishing a formula for the section coefficients, we survey a large supply of examples, emphasising the notion's firm roots in classical combinatorics. The first batch of examples, similar to binomial posets, serves to illustrate 2 key points: (1) the incidence algebra in question is realised directly from a decomposition space, without a reduction step, and reductions are often given by CULF functors; (2) at the objective level, the convolution algebra is a monoidal structure of species. We encounter the usual Cauchy product of species, the shuffle product of L-species, the Dirichlet product of arithmetic species, the Joyal-Street external product of q-species and the Morrison `Cauchy' product of q-species. In each case a power series representation results from taking cardinality. The external product of q-species exemplifies the fact that Waldhausen's S-construction on an abelian category is a decomposition space, yielding Hall algebras. The next class of examples includes Schmitt's chromatic Hopf algebra, the Faà di Bruno bialgebra, the Butcher-Connes-Kreimer Hopf algebra of trees and variations from operad theory. Similar structures on posets and directed graphs exemplify a general construction of decomposition spaces from directed restriction species. An appetiser on decomposition spaces of symmetric functions is included. We finish by computing the Möbius function in a few cases, and commenting on certain cancellations that occur in the process of taking cardinality, substantiating that these cancellations are not possible at the objective level.

Abstract:Bourgain–Morrey spaces , generalizing what was introduced by J. Bourgain, play an important role in the study related to the Strichartz estimate and the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. In this article, via adding an extra exponent , the authors creatively introduce a new class of function spaces, called Besov–Bourgain–Morrey spaces , which is a bridge connecting Bourgain–Morrey spaces with amalgam-type spaces . By making full use of the Fatou property of block spaces in the weak local topology of , the authors give both predual and dual spaces of . Applying these properties and the Calderón product, the authors also establish the complex interpolation of . Via fully using fine geometrical properties of dyadic cubes, the authors then give an equivalent norm of having an integral expression, which further induces a boundedness criterion of operators on . Applying this criterion, the authors obtain the boundedness on of classical operators including the Hardy–Littlewood maximal operator, the fractional integral, and the Calderón–Zygmund operator.

Abstract:This paper provides an introduction to decomposition spaces and 2-Segal spaces, unifying the two perspectives. We begin by defining decomposition spaces using the active-inert factorization system on the simplicial category, and show their equivalence to 2-Segal spaces. Key results include the path space criterion, which characterizes decomposition spaces in terms of their upper and lower décalages, and the edgewise subdivision criterion. We also introduce free decomposition spaces arising from outer face complexes, providing a rich source of examples. Formal prerequisites are minimal -- readers should have a working knowledge of simplicial methods and basic category theory.

Abstract:Given a Banach space. We show that its three times dual space can be written as a direct sum. Then being one of the sumands null is a necessary and sufficient condition for the dual space to be reflexive. We end with an application of this result to the known relationship between the reflexivity of a Banach space and that of its dual space.

Abstract:Some properties of the (normed) dual Hom-functor $D$ and its iterations $D^n$ are exhibited. For instance: $D$ turns every canonical embedding (in the second dual space) into a retraction (of the third dual onto the first one); $D$ rises the countably infinite (algebraic) dimension only; $D$ does not change the finite quotient shape type. By means of that, the finite quotient shape classification of normed vectorial spaces is completely solved. As a consequence, two extension type theorems are derived.

Abstract:The main purpose of this paper is to develop the theory of product Hardy spaces built on Banach lattices on . First we introduce new product Hardy spaces associated with ball quasi-Banach function spaces via applying the Littlewood–Paley–Stein theory. Then we establish a decomposition theorem for in terms of the discrete Calderón's identity. Moreover, we explore some useful and general extrapolation theorems of Rubio de Francia on and give some applications to boundedness of operators. Finally, we conclude that the bi-parameter singular integral operators are bounded from to itself and bounded from to via extrapolation. The main results obtained in this paper have a wide range of generality. Especially, we can apply these results to many concrete examples of ball quasi-Banach function spaces, including product Herz spaces, weighted product Morrey spaces and product Orlicz spaces.

Abstract:In this article we propose a conception of mixed limits of functional spaces as the case, when the upper limit (projective limit of inductive limits) and the lower limit (inductive limit of projective limits) coincide as topological spaces, which are generalization of inductive and projective limits of functional spaces. We show a cases where these mixed limits are naturally obtained as the limit spaces of non-commutative $L_p$-type spaces associated with the sequence of operators. Also, we obtain results on the properties of limit spaces, we show that limit spaces of Banach algebras are (LF)-spaces, if they converge.

Abstract:In this work, we obtain the Helmholtz decomposition for vector fields in Morrey, Zorko, and block spaces over bounded or exterior $C^{1}$ domains. Generally speaking, our proofs rely on a careful interplay of localization, flattening, and duality arguments. To accomplish this, we need to extend some classical tools in analysis and PDE theory to those spaces, including Stein extensions, compact embeddings, Poincaré inequalities, Bogovskii-type theorem, among other ingredients. Some of these findings may be of independent interest and applied to the study of a number of PDEs.

Abstract:We study abstract Ces\`aro spaces $CX$, which may be regarded as generalizations of Ces\`aro sequence spaces $ces_p$ and Ces\`aro function spaces $Ces_p(I)$ on $I = [0,1]$ or $I = [0,\infty)$, and also as the description of optimal domain from which Ces\`aro operator acts to $X$. We find the dual of such spaces in a very general situation. What is however even more important, we do it in the simplest possible way. Our proofs are more elementary than the known ones for $ces_p$ and $Ces_p(I)$. This is the point how our paper should be seen, i.e. not as generalization of known results, but rather like grasping and exhibiting the general nature of the problem, which is not so easy visible in the previous publications. Our results show also an interesting phenomenon that there is a big difference between duality in the cases of finite and infinite interval.

Abstract:In this paper we study left and right `regular representations' of , an infinite-dimensional analogue of the classical Lie group with entries indexed by the integers, on a space which we take to be the projective limit of Bargmann - Fock - Segal spaces. We decompose into an orthogonal direct sum where the hat indicates the closure of the algebraic direct sum, and where each is irreducible with respect to the joint left and right action, and the isotypic component of the left or right actions with double signatures of the type . For each , is the subspace generated by the joint action on a highest weight vector with highest weight . We start by defining the group and its Lie algebra , and discuss the `infinite wedge space', F, defined by Kac, and its transpose . We then define a kind of determinant function on , prove several identities and properties of these determinants, and use these to produce intertwining maps from tensor products of F and to , thereby obtaining irreducible subspaces and highest weight vectors. We further adapt these results to representations of on the inductive limit of Bargmann - Fock - Segal spaces .

Abstract:In this paper, we are interested in studying a generalized block space (denoted as ) on a space of homogeneous type. We show that this space is the predual of certain generalized Morrey–Lorentz space. By duality, we obtain the -bound of operators of Calderón–Zygmund type. In addition, we prove a weak Hardy factorization in terms of commutators of integral operator of Calderón–Zygmund type in block spaces. Thanks to the Hardy factorization result, we obtain a characterization of functions in via the boundedness of commutators of homogeneous linear Calderón–Zygmund operators in the generalized block space (resp. the generalized Morrey–Lorentz space). Finally, we study a compactness characterization of commutators of Calderón–Zygmund type in generalized Morrey–Lorentz spaces.

Abstract:In this paper we consider series expansions via a frame and a non-frame and the possibilities for interchange of the two sequences, both in the Hilbert and Banach space setting. First we give a characterization of frame-related concepts in Banach spaces (atomic decompositions, Banach frames, $X_d$-Riesz bases, $X_d$-frames, $X_d$-Bessel sequences, and sequences satisfying the lower $X_d$-frame condition). We also determine necessary and sufficient conditions for operators to preserve the type of the concepts listed above. Then we discuss differences and relationships between expansions in a Banach space and its dual space when interchanging the involved sequences. Finally, we apply some of the results to answer problems in Hilbert frame theory. We show that interchanging a frame and a non-Bessel sequence in series expansions is not always possible (leading to differentiation of analysis- and synthesis-pseudo-duals of a frame) and determine an appropriate subspace where interchange can be done. We characterize all the synthesis-pseudo-duals of a frame and determine a class of frames whose synthesis-pseudo-duals (resp. analysis-pseudo-duals) are necessarily frames. We also investigate connections between the lower frame condition and series expansions. Examples are given to illustrate statements in the paper and to show the optimality of some results.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce some anisotropic grand Herz type spaces with variable exponents, including anisotropic grand Herz spaces, anisotropic grand Herz-Morrey spaces and anisotropic grand Herz-type Hardy spaces with variable exponents. We obtain some properties and characterizations of these spaces in terms of some decompositions. Using their decompositions, we obtain some boundedness on the anisotropic grand Herz type spaces with variable exponents for some singular integral operators.

Coorbit spaces associated to quasi-Banach function spaces and their molecular decomposition

Abstract:This paper provides a self-contained exposition of coorbit spaces associated to integrable group representations and quasi-Banach function spaces, and at the same time extends and simplifies previous work. The main results provide an extension of the theory in [Studia Math., 180(3):237-253, 2007] from groups admitting a compact, conjugation-invariant unit neighborhood to arbitrary (possibly nonunimodular) locally compact groups. In addition, the present paper establishes the existence of molecular dual frames and Riesz sequences as in [J. Funct. Anal., 280(10):56, 2021] for the full scale of quasi-Banach function spaces. The theory is developed for possibly projective and reducible unitary representations in order to be easily applicable to well-studied function spaces not satisfying the classical assumptions of coorbit theory. Compared to the existing literature on quasi-Banach coorbit spaces, all our results apply under significantly weaker integrability conditions on the analyzing vectors, which allows for obtaining sharp results in concrete settings
