Abstract:A two-dimensional gel electrophoretic method for the separation of complex mixtures of RNA species in the size range of 4S to 12S is described. A polyacrylamide gradient gel was used in the first dimension, while the gel used in the second dimension was a polyacrylamide transverse gradient gel.
