Abstract:Two new flavanocoumarins, 1 and 2, together with phyllocoumarin (3) and epiphyllocoumarin (4), were isolated from the leaves of Litsea coreana LEVL. in Anhui Province, China. The structures of 1-4 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Biological tests revealed that 1-4 exhibited moderate anti-inflammatory activities through inhibition of TNF-α and IL-1 production in primary mouse peritoneal macrophages activated with lipopolysaccharides (LPS).
