Abstract:The editor would like to amend these inadvertent mistakes: in the cover description statement, "Our special issue 'Neuroimmunology – I' showcases current research in this discipline, emphasizing the reciprocal interplay between the brain and our nervous systems (central or peripheral)", instead should read, "Our special issue 'Neuroimmunology – I' showcases current research in this discipline, emphasizing the reciprocal interplay between our immune and nervous systems (central or peripheral)." In the Editorial article 'Partners and guardians of the nervous and immune systems', the sentence 'We continue to marvel at the reciprocal interplay between the brain, our nervous systems (central and peripheral), and our immune system' should instead read 'We continue to marvel at the reciprocal interplay between our nervous (central and peripheral), and immune systems'.
