Abstract:The article focuses on the long-term ship leasing market, which is in fact an alternative financing market for the industry. The aim of the study was to provide an overview of the state of the Russian leasing market in the field of shipbuilding in the current economic conditions and to show the positive aspects of using this financial instrument as a means of increasing the activity of participants in the investment process in the shipbuilding industry, aimed at accelerating the renewal of the civilian fleet and recovering the industry after the crisis. The problematic issues arising in the practice of leasing activities in the industry are considered. The use of leasing in Russian shipbuilding is supported by the state with the help of an existing program that provides preferential terms for leasing transactions for shipbuilding. The article examines the conditions, results and prospects for the implementation of the state program of civil shipbuilding leasing.

Для компаний, зарегистрированных на бирже, важно эффективно использовать рычаги риска, чтобы помочь предприятиям. In the process of managing a modern company, risk management is especially important, if any risk cannot be identified and controlled in time, this will lead to losses for the company. And this control work should be implemented in all aspects of daily activities, with the expectation of financing as an operational incentive, adding weight to the business development of the enterprise, avoiding financial risks that could not be avoided in time, and resisting business development. Abstract:In the world economy, leasing is the second largest investment after bank lending. That is why the emphasis on strengthening the new industry in Ukraine is important. The paper analyzes the literature and current legislation of Ukraine on the legal status of the leasing company and the provision of leasing services. The lack of terminological definition of a leasing company is emphasized, the terminology proposed by scientists on this issue is given. A comparative description of the main global leasing business models and their integration into the financial services market of Ukraine. An analysis is made of business entities that provide leasing services. The objective possibilities of banking and non-banking leasing companies are compared. The structure of leasing companies, the mechanism of their work, the market share of services are considered. Due to the lack of settlement of many issues related to the provision of leasing services, and the existence of an inefficient existing leasing market system in Ukraine, proposals are submitted in parallel with the NBU project to improve the existing order. The substantiation of the role of leasing companies in the financial services market, conditions and methods of leasing operations is of great importance, which will create an effective leasing system in Ukraine while the development of the financial leasing segment will meet the needs for quality and affordable leasing services. The regulatory model should ensure the functioning of an efficient and transparent financial leasing market, its harmonious development, as well as the avoidance of unjustified requirements that could harm such development. This model should also help eliminate the negative factors that hinder the development of financial leasing.

Abstract:Importance Issues of leasing business development, in a difficult economic and political situation caused by the imposed economic sanctions against the Russian Federation. Objectives To monitor and assess the current state of the leasing market in Russia in connection with new economic challenges and political events. Analyze the volume of leasing transactions in the context of various business segments, reflect possible measures of state support and promising areas of development of the leasing market. Methodology Within the framework of this work, statistical and empirical data published by expert and rating agencies and individual leasing companies were summarized and analyzed. A critical analysis of their own scientific research, as well as authors dealing with this topic, has been carried out. Thus, the theoretical foundations of leasing were considered in their scientific works by domestic scientists Arustamov E.A. [2], Gazman V.D. [4]. Modern problems of leasing are reflected in the works of Nurtdinov I.I. [5], Baranov N.S.[6], Mochalov A.A. [7], Samvelyan, R.V. [8] and other economists. Results The results of the study are to determine the current state of the leasing business and identify prospects for its further development based on monitoring the economic situation in Russia. As well as the development of proposals and recommendations to stabilize the situation and further improve the efficiency of the leasing market. Scope of application The results of the study can be used by participants of the leasing market, as well as financial entities, state and municipal authorities, in order to identify and solve problems in the field of leasing activities. PROBLEMS OF SYSTEMIC APPROACH IN THE ECONOMY

Abstract:Amid the spread of the global crisis and the shortage of financial resources, innovation is becoming one of the most important elements in ensuring survival and growth in the market. Therefore, leasing as one of the options for raising capital plays an important role in the innovative development of enterprises. The article considers the use of leasing as a tool for stimulating innovation in business and analyzes the impact of leasing relations on the development of enterprises and increasing their competitiveness. The research shows that today the leasing services market is characterized by a variety of leasing forms, models of leasing agreements and a diverse system of legal forms regulating the functioning of the leasing mechanism. The main stages of the leasing mechanism include: selection of the leased asset, selection of the lessor, conclusion of the lease agreement, payment of the lease fee under the agreement, use of the leased asset and termination of the lease agreement. The use of leasing has a positive impact on the operations of enterprises by reducing costs, improving productivity and product quality, accelerating the turnover of assets, and improving profitability. Due to the involvement of leasing companies in the process of innovation and their integration into the formation of innovative infrastructure, the issue of developing and expanding tools for the implementation of innovative leasing is important. Innovative leasing is distinguished by its uniqueness and high level of specialization of the equipment that is the object of leasing. We consider innovative leasing to be an effective and promising tool for technical modernization and innovation. Increasing the level of technological equipment in the leasing services market will help to expand the leasing portfolio, including attracting new types of assets. Considering innovative approaches to the provision of leasing services, in particular, the introduction of blockchain and other advanced technologies, it is obvious that such initiatives will have a significant positive impact on the competitiveness of leasing. The main advantage of innovative leasing is that it helps to respond more quickly to market changes and, if necessary, to quickly update the company's innovation strategies.

Abstract:Abstract Housing and public utilities is of socio-economic significance. It determines the conditions and quality of population life. The article deals with investment methods of innovative activities financing in housing and public utilities sector. Authors suggest that development of leasing transactions through public-private partnership is a priority tool for reforming the industry. An analysis of terminology allowed defining the term of leasing operations of housing and public utilities innovative activities with public-private partnership mechanism applied. It is worked out an organizational and economic scheme of leasing transaction with public-private partnership involved for innovative activity in the housing and public utilities sphere. It allows tracing interaction stages between the leasing participants with the state involved. An innovative technique to calculate leasing payments in operational leasing is worked out. It allows innovative housing and public utilities organizations to vary both payments sums and the residual value of the leased property. The authors suggest directions for state incentives necessary for the effective leasing operations in the housing and public sector. Thus, the study showed it’s necessary to develop leasing operations with public-private partnership involvement. It will influence investment and innovation activities of the housing and public utilities sector favorably.

Abstract:This study examined the effect of lease financing on the financial performance of listed manufacturing companies. The study relied on secondary data which covered the period of 2011 to 2021. It was established from findings that financial lease create positive effect on financial performance of companies through the creation of opportunities to use capital intensive assets in production activities. However, the insignificant effect of lease financing in the study suggests the underutilisation of leasing financing options by manufacturing companies. It was recommended that lease financial should be extensively explore by manufacturing companies. In addition, companies should endeavor to maintain appropriate balance between different source of financing, investment opportunities and performance.

Abstract:The article investigates the theoretical issues of forming the financial strategy of the enterprise in modern conditions of economic development. Different approaches to the definition of the concept of “financial strategy of the enterprise” are considered, the author’s approach to its interpretation is offered. The essence of the financial strategy is to determine the priority goals and system of measures to achieve them in the field of financial resources, optimization of capital structure and efficiency of assets that meet the general concept of enterprise development and ensure its implementation; it is based on the analysis of financial condition, analysis of economic performance, efficiency and quality of enterprise management, forecasts and analysis of the dynamics of markets for products, assessment of potential risks (credit, investment, and currency, etc.), as well as analysis strengths and weaknesses of the enterprise, its competitive positions. The characteristic features of the financial strategy of the enterprise are reflected. It is noted that the financial strategy is consistent with the overall strategy of the enterprise and is a factor in ensuring its effective functioning and financial development in the future. The overall strategy is based on taking into account the possibilities of increasing the competitive advantages of the enterprise. The financial strategy is aimed at ensuring self-financing of the enterprise, which can be achieved in the context of effective management of capital, assets, profits, investments and more. Thus, the formation of strategic goals is focused on the accumulation of capital of the enterprise, sufficient to finance its expanded reproduction The main stages of the process of development and formation of the financial strategy of the enterprise are substantiated. It is proved that the financial strategy is the guiding vector of enterprise management and its production and economic activity in the modern globalized, dynamic and competitive market environment. Prospects for further research are to justify the mechanism of formation and implementation of the financial strategy of the enterprise taking into account the situation and trends development of financial markets, as well as risk factors due to various transformation processes taking place in Ukraine today.

Abstract:Airline companies have started to develop strategies to increase their market share and expand their network structure with the effect of globalization. In this process, one of the most important sources of airline companies to achieve competitive advantage is aircraft. Airline companies have to increase the number of aircraft in the fleet to expand their network structure. On the other hand, the high price of aircraft has led airline companies to adopt new financing strategies. Leasing is one of the financing methods used frequently by airline companies recently. Therefore, this study focuses on the leasing policies of airline companies. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the factors affecting the leasing policies of airline companies. In this context, 26 airlines operating in the period 2000-2017 were analyzed empirically. Panel data analysis was used as the method in the study. The empirical findings of the study indicate that return on assets, asset structure, tangibility, leverage ratio, and liquidity affects the leasing policies of airline companies.

Abstract:The article proposes a method for assessing the efficiency of leasing operations in the case of an annuity scheme for calculating leasing payments, which is based on comparing leasing with loan that is close in terms of economic essence to the method of financing real investments. This approach is often used by leasing companies and other participants in the leasing market in the United States when assessing the efficiency of leasing agreements. In the development of mathematical instrumentarium, the authors took into account the peculiarities of taxation and the functioning of all parties to leasing contracts in Ukraine and the current legislative and other regulatory documents in this area. This approach to assessing the efficiency of a leasing agreement is based on the fact that two cash flows, payments on which occur at different points in time, will be considered equivalent if their current values (or accrued amounts) calculated at the same discount rates turn out to be equal. In determining the discounted value of cash flows under the leasing agreement, it was taken into account that leasing payments, in addition to the minimum rental payments, also include the cost of services payable to the lessor, taxes and unforeseen leasing payments. Thus, if the present value of the company’s cash flows during leasing is greater than the present value of the cash flows of the same enterprise taking a loan, then it can be stated that the purchase of equipment through credit borrowings will be more profitable for the enterprise. Conversely, if the present value of the company’s cash flows during leasing is less than the present value of the cash flows of the same enterprise taking a loan, then the cost of equipment obtained through leasing will be lower compared to the purchase through loaning, and therefore it is more expedient for the enterprise to stick with the leasing agreement.

In modern conditions of globalization and strengthening the international integration processes, the enterprises foreign economic activity (FEA) acquires strategic importance for their further development. Formulation of the problem. Today, one of the problems facing business entities in their foreign economic activity is the lack of an effective mechanism for its financial regulation. Taking into account the leading role of financial and economic factors in the management of the foreign economic activity, such a mechanism would allow enterprises to implement effectively their foreign economic strategy and improve their competitive positions in the foreign markets. The problems of financial mechanisms and financial regulation are the subject of research in the professional scientific literature on the theory of finance. Certain issues related to the financial regulation of enterprises’ foreign economic activity are studied in scientific papers on foreign economic activity, financial management, foreign economic activity management, strategic management of the foreign economic activity. Selection of unexplored parts of the general problem. A thorough study must be conducted on the specifics of financial regulation of foreign economic activity at the level of business entities, as well as on the creation and functioning of a financial self-regulation mechanism in foreign economic activity. Scientific research of the problems of financial regulation of business entities foreign economic activity, the educational process (in the preparation of the relevant sections of textbooks and tutorials for courses "Finance", "Foreign economic activity"). Conclusions according to the article. When forming the mechanism of financial regulation of business entities foreign economic activity, the peculiarities of such a regulation at the business entities level should be taken into account. The structure of the mechanism of financial regulation of business entities foreign economic activity is built based on its belonging to the general mechanism of enterprise management, the mechanism of foreign economic activity management, the financial mechanism of enterprises, and the monetary-financial mechanism of foreign economic activity. The structure includes financial management of business entity foreign economic activity as a set of target, functional, providing, and management subsystems, as well as a subsystem of financial levers through which the influences on foreign economic activity are made, and a direct regulation subsystem. Along with the key role of state regulation, the enterprises’ managers must make and implement independent decisions, develop their own systems of financial regulation of foreign economic activity at the corporate level.

Abstract:Relevance of the study. In the current context, there are quite negative trends in the coal industry: instability of the situation in the coal markets and increased competition, which creates risks of financial instability of enterprises. In these conditions, it is important to develop a financial strategy aimed at fulfilling promising production tasks. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the financial strategy of large coal producers. Research methods – scientific generalization, logical analysis, methods of comparison and analogies. Results of the study. The key points of the financial strategy have been identified: the goal of the effective development of a coal producer; time – long-term benchmarks; mechanisms – financing; directions – the implementation of financial activities; conditions – external and internal environment. The development of a financial strategy is based on a system of financial ratios used to form an acceptable structure of working capital. Calculation formulas are proposed to determine the required amount of cash, short-term financial investments, accounts receivable and the amount of stock in the composition of working capital. The quantitative values of these indicators that are acceptable from the point of view of the financial strategy have been determined: not less than 25%, not more than 25%, not more than 50%, respectively. The set of financial ratios for the formation of an acceptable ratio of own and borrowed funds, their calculation formulas and recommended values are recommended. The values of the coefficient Kз/с of the ratio of borrowed and own funds, which determines the possibility of using borrowed funds, are given. In direct connection with Кз/с, the autonomy coefficient is considered and its reasonable values are justified. Conclusions. The specified conditions for the formation of a financial strategy are primarily related to large coal producers, where there are opportunities for revenue growth and a reduction in the duration of the production cycle. The proposed acceptable values of financial ratios will make it possible to achieve sustainable financial independence of enterprises and ensure their effective development.
Finance Leasing and ARMA Forecasting: Evidence from Albania

Abstract:Ten financial institutions are offering finance leasing-loans in Albania. Even though finance leasing is a potential financing resource for small and medium enterprises in Albania (which are on average 95% of national enterprises), the value of finance leasing is one thousand times smaller than other forms of medium and long-term loans or real estate loans. Developing of finance leasing is a challenge for the progress of the financial sector, and untapped potential as well. Currently, the finance leasing portfolio is dominated by financing for personal vehicles and work-vehicles, therefore diversification of leasing products is an immediate need of consumers. This study analyzes the value of finance leasing in Albania with time series from 2008 to 2020 (with quarterly frequency). The methodology applied for data processing is the co-integration method of finance leasing and other forms of medium-term and long-term financing. Also, the ARMA method is used to forecast the value of finance leasing. We found out that there is no long-run relationship between finance leasing with medium and long-term loans. Therefore, econometric tests suggest optimal forecasting ARMA (1,1) modeling. The parameters of ARMA model are positive statistically significant with autocorrelation AR (1) and negative statistically significant with the moving average MA (1), and forecasting values have a short-run equilibrium with a wide interval.

Abstract:Based on the study of the basic types of the bareboat charter, presented algorithms decision on the justification of the respective projects. It was found that the initiator of the project can be both owners who wants to pass the boat rental and the charterer, and also who is the owner, who wants to take a boat for rent. It is proved that the implementation of these specific operations requires careful preparation, and using of the project approach will greatly enhance their effectiveness. We describe the life of the project finance lease from the standpoint of the marine vessel, the ship-owner and charterer. It is established that such projects characterized by four-phase structure of the life cycle: preparation, let's call it as the principal decision on (from) the chartering of the vessel, the investment - to select the optimal variant (from) the charter and the conclusion of the bareboat charter, the phase of operation of the vessel and the fourth - the closure of the project at the end of term bareboat charter. Skill description of the content of each phase, which will continue for the main participants of the project to determine the value of each phase and the value of the whole project.

Abstract:Financial leasing is a financial innovation product with leasing and financing functions. The research on the theory of financial leasing and risk pricing methods should be highly valued. Rent is set based on the total revenue of the lessor and the total cost of the lessee. The factors that affect pricing include project costs, security deposits, fees, lease terms, revenue, interest rates, etc. Using the principle of net present value to elaborate the components of financial leases and constructing a financial lease pricing model from the perspective of maximizing the profit and interests of the lessor, an empirical analysis of the model was carried out using an actual case, thus concluding that the model is effective.

Abstract:Subject. The article addresses leasing activity considered from interdisciplinary positions: economics, law, finance. Objectives. The aim is to develop modern views and approaches to the definition and analysis of leasing and rental activities. Methods. The study rests on principles and methods of systems analysis. Results. I offered new approaches to consideration and systematization of fundamental differences in leasing and rental activities, developed an overall integrated model of leasing activity, enabling to present it from economic, legal, and financial position as a set of functional subjects of leasing activity and infrastructure elements in the form of financial instruments and a legislative framework. The proposed model of leasing activity is focused on analytical description of functioning and formation of digital leasing platforms, with the possibility to use artificial intelligence systems or its elements. Conclusions. The identified and systematized differences in leasing and rental activities are focused on creating a mechanism to stimulate the modernization of the national economy. The offered systems approach to the formation of a model of leasing activity is geared to the possibility of using digital financial instruments, including artificial intelligence. The proposed model forms a new way of economic thinking and understanding of the essence of leasing and rental activities. This approach to the theory of organization of leasing activities is quite new for specialists in the financial and banking sector, and has positive development trends.

The article, based on the analysis on the current development of aviation financing as well as the five main problems of several representative Chinese leasing companies who are developing operating leasing business, gives three suggestions of easing excessive financial regulatory barriers from the governmental management, promoting development of aviation financing related fields and improving comprehensive capacity of the companies, and provides some reference for further development for aviation financing business.

Abstract:The goal is to develop an algorithm for financial modeling of business processes in beef cattle breeding. Methods – general scientific and empirical. The logical method was used to determine the structure of the study and identify cause-and-effect relationships. The collected material is systematized, summarized and analyzed taking into account the technological features of the industry, modern market conditions, regulatory requirements, financing criteria and government measures to support agricultural producers in the republic. Methods of synthesis, comparison, comparison, and mathematical calculations were also used. Results - the authors proposed financial business model that promotes flexibility in planning production program for keeping and raising livestock for meat. The advantages of financial model in cattle breeding for meat productivity are substantiated as an effective tool for information support, planning, analysis and management decision-making, consisting in the fact that the content of each component of the mathematical financial model allows you to study their components and collect information necessary for financial and economic calculations. The composition of the elements for constructing a financial strategy for breeding beef cattle has been determined, including initial data, analytical calculations, and resulting parameters. A step-by-step algorithm for financial business planning has been created, from initial parameters and assumptions to the calculation of technological and economic efficiency indicators. Conclusions - based on financial modeling of business processes, farmers will have the opportunity to preliminarily assess profitability, find savings reserves, and predict costs for intensive beef cattle farming. A comprehensive business analysis with a financial model and assessment of the market situation is necessary in order to obtain a loan, attract investment and prepare an investment project.

Abstract:The article discusses the topical issue of managing financial results in the conditions of a market economy. The article analyzes the scientific works of Ukrainian and foreign researchers and specialists on the study of methods and techniques for analyzing financial results; the main complex measures for ensuring and forming the financial results of organizations in Ukraine are defined; a study of the main methods of planning financial results was carried out. The article states that the study of the dynamics of financial results according to the components of accounting will solve a number of problems: evaluate the competitive position of the organization: the growth of profit from sales, which indicates an increase in the competitiveness of the organization and its products; evaluate the organization's asset management strategy: a decrease in profit from sales while increasing operating income may mean a reduction in the main type of activity along with an increase in operations related to the transfer of property for lease or asset sales; give an assessment of the “quality” of economic and legal work in the organization: for example, an increase in unrealized income signals the high quality of claims work or the collection of receivables previously recognized as hopeless. It was determined that a general assessment of the organization's activity is given on the basis of such financial indicators as profit – an absolute indicator and profitability – a relative indicator. It was determined that the concept of “financial leverage effect” is used to assess the effectiveness of the organization's use of loan funds. When borrowing funds, profit before taxation is reduced due to the inclusion of interest for their use in the composition of expenses. The main component dependencies are analyzed, which reflect the increase in the return on equity due to the tax corrector, the differentiation of financial leverage and financial leverage. Approaches to the formation, distribution and analysis of such indicators as profit and profitability have been considered, allowing to manage the activities of the organization in order to maximize financial results. The concept of profit, which needs three goals, has been studied: 1) tax calculation; 2) creditor protection; 3) choosing a reasonable investment policy. It is determined that the return on equity can be increased by using borrowed funds and the factors that affect the return on equity are determined.
