Abstract:Artificial Intelligence, Robot, and Big Data technologies can be called the Big 3 key words of the era of AI. About the future of AI tech, many optimistic forecasting and deep pessimistic concerns are crossing at the same time. Most of the discussions have focused on topics such as competition between AI and Human Intelligence, and the level of AI’s autonomy. These discussions have a closer connection with the developer and provider ethics. It is important to know about the philosophical ontology and the epistemology of AI, but for the contents of moral education, many topics in daily life and more practical contents are needed. From the standpoint of consumers who purchase and use products with artificial intelligence and robotic technology, I have anticipated various ethical problems to be experienced from the perspective of consumer rights and responsibilities. I propose 10 consumer rights and 6 consumer responsibilities, and summarize the anticipated problems and ethical issues for each item. Furthermore, it exemplifies the virtues and competencies to be pursued by three areas of ethics education: cognition, emotion, and practice.
