Research on Creation of Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Platform Based on Chinese Classical Garden Documents and Historical Images: Take Qi Biaojia's Writing of Yushan garden in the Late Ming Dynasty as an example

Abstract:The visualization and digitization of Chinese classical garden literature is the only way to carry forward the traditional excellent garden culture and inherit the ancient garden design and appreciation of wisdom. Take the “Imperial Gardens” of Qi Biaojia in the late Ming Dynasty as an example, and discusses the virtual simulation steps of classical garden literature and historical images around the key knowledge points of the ideals, implementation process, design goals and viewpoints of historical gardens. (1) The 2 historical images can be used to restore the construction stage of Yushan Garden with the help of 3D models and animations. (2) According to the theory of borrowed scene design, 49 landscapes and related verses can be converted into Yushan garden design drawings and professional 3D models, and multi-view pictures can be output for secondary digital production. (3) Based on the poems of the sixteen sceneries inside and outside the garden, the animation art is created with the composition of Chinese painting, restoring the garden life scenes of Qi Biaojia and others, and explaining the ideal gardening in ancient China. The creation of virtual platforms such as image digitization, building and plant model production, and the overall integration of UDK engines can help people understand the complex cultural symbol network constructed by Chinese garden literature.
