Abstract:Inclusion in education is considered as an approach where education is provided to physical and cognitive disabilities as well as to the human diversity with regard to ability, language, age, culture, gender, and of human differences.Here needs the Special needs education as a phenomenon by which students experience difficulties in learning, both included in and excluded from the forms of schooling. In this way, policy of inclusion is difficult to implement as teachers are not sufficiently well prepared and supported to work in inclusive ways. The responsibility lies on teachers for creating schools in which all children can learn and feel they belong. The role of teachers are crucial where they help in promoting, participation and reducing under achievement, especially with children perceived as having difficulties in learning. Though there are some barriers to the development of successful inclusive schools, yet the way of overcoming these difficulties is only to reconsider the roles, responsibilities and identities of teachers. Certain practices implemented for enhancing Inclusive Education like suitable Support and services to special needs pupils, well- deliberated Educational Programme, addressing them with disabilities in teacher preparations.The paper also suggests by providing the role of teacher education thereby enhances the development of teacher’s skills, knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs.

Abstract:UNESCO and many other international organisations have emphasised the role of inclusive education towards providing equal opportunity for the thriving of both abled and disabled children. This study investigates the challenges and opportunities of inclusive education in Nigeria. The study adopts critical disability theory as its theoretical framework, with the social model of disability forming the framework's foundation. Teachers across 40 mainstream primary schools in Abeokuta, Ogun State, duly filled and submitted one hundred forty-seven questionnaires. At the same time, 18 parents of children with disabilities were also invited for interview. The study revealed that inclusive education in Nigeria is still in its early stages and is faced with several challenges, including a lack of understanding and awareness, inadequate resources and infrastructure, and a shortage of qualified teachers. Despite the challenges, there are several opportunities for developing inclusive education in Nigeria. The Nigerian Government has committed to promoting inclusive education by adopting policies that would favour inclusive education.

Abstract:India is a pluralistic and a complex society in terms of its regional, religious, linguistic, castes and economic divides. There are the urban-rural as well as gender differences. Education too has different offerings. There has been progress in terms of literacy rate, but yet there remains a challenge when it comes to equity in education. Quality education also remains a challenge especially when it comes to educating a large population. Although education strives to meet the needs of all but formal systems cannot do it all. Therefore initiatives have to be taken up by conscientious educators and reach out to the community to ‘educate’ the young for becoming good human beings.

Abstract:Education, regarded as a fundamental human right and a key driver of individual, community, and national development, serves the purpose of equipping young individuals with accurate information, fostering positive attitudes, and cultivating skills to navigate real-life situations responsibly. Additionally, education aims to instill awareness and positive attitudes toward population and development issues, fostering responsible behavior among students and the broader community (UNICEF, 2010). According to the National Curriculum Framework (NCF, 2005), guidance and counselling are essential components of the school curriculum that support children’s personal, social, and professional development in a stress-free learning environment. The suggestions of the Kothari Education Commission and the Mudaliar Secondary Education Commission are where guidance and counselling services in India first emerged. The report points out current limitations in inclusive education, such as a lack of skilled mentors and a lack of awareness among school officials. The study clarifies practical concerns with inclusive education despite the growing focus on its significance by using Padang city as a case study. The research highlights the critical function that counselors do in fostering a friendly and inclusive learning environment. However, it also highlights the deficiency of mentors in inclusive schools, which impedes the academic progress of children with special needs. The goals encompass elucidating the notion of education, deliberating about counselling and advice, characterizing guidance within the framework of inclusive education, analysing educational data, and distinguishing between the two. The study concludes by highlighting the critical role that involvement and guidance play in developing an inclusive education system and suggesting a quantitative exploratory approach to determine the proportion of kids in a given school that do not have special needs. The results are intended to serve as a starting point for additional research on issues related to inclusive education.

Abstract:One innovative strategy for helping students with special needs and other forms of disability succeed in school is known as inclusive education (IE). The goal of inclusive education is to help all students succeed in school, but it prioritises helping children from low-income families and other groups who are more likely to experience prejudice and exclusion. Assuming a sufficient network of support services is in place, the approach suggests that all students, regardless of disability, should have equal access to public schools and community learning environments. The concept of inclusive education was reaffirmed at the 2000 World Education Forum in Dakar, Senegal, and was first accepted at the 1994 World Conference on Special Needs Education: Access and Quality in Salamanca, Spain. When it comes to creating an inclusive culture in the classroom, teachers have a pivotal role to play in terms of their attitude and ideals. Students' emotional well-being and sense of self-worth are profoundly and permanently impacted by the beliefs and demeanour of their educators. For inclusive education policies and initiatives to be effective, instructors must possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and values. A variety of viewpoints regarding the overhaul of our educational system continue to surface, touching on topics such as the redesign of course syllabi and the alteration of the learning environment. There are a lot of different viewpoints, but all the experts agree that insufficient teacher training is a huge problem. Abstract:Nowadays, inclusive education is a necessity rather than a privilege. Providing access to education for all children, both those with disabilities and those without, under one roof is a key component of the new educational philosophy known as inclusive education. A recent initiative, the National Educational Policy (NEP), 2020, aims to alleviate the rising inequality and injustice that now plague the nation’s educational system. With a special focus on children and young, especially girls, from socially and economically disadvantaged groups, it envisions equitable and inclusive education for all. Aims of the study were to explain the different approaches of NEP 2020 towards an inclusion in school education and to discuss the different concerns of NEP 2020 about inclusion in higher education. It also aimed to point out the limitations of NEP 2020 towards promoting inclusive education in India. Present study was based on documentary research method followed by qualitative approach which used different primary and secondary sources of data as books, journal articles, official website, news reports, governmental reports, and international reports. The study found different approaches and concerns of NEP 2020 regarding implementation of inclusive education at school education and higher education. It also found that the NEP 2020 has some limitations in approaches and concerns to promoting and implementing inclusive education. Finally, the study was concluded that in spite of some limitations the NEP 2020 is a breakthrough step in the right direction of promoting inclusive education in India. If all the approaches and concerns provided by NEP2020 are properly implemented then inclusive education in India will find new horizons and which will become a guide to the education system of the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has proliferated the drive from basic to online and digital education around the world. This has provided new opportunities to all the learners from various backgrounds, However, this technology driven revolution has also alleviated the disparities in educational opportunities and outcomes This abstract explores the dynamic interaction of online and digital learning in an inclusive environment, highlighting how crucial it is to guarantee fair access to technology for the learners of all ages. Digital platforms must be built using universal design principles to make them universally accessible and to remove any obstacles that can prevent participation and help in providing individuals independence. In inclusive education setup, facilitators and educators can take advantage of the adaptability of digital tools to provide various forms of individualised instructions and evaluations. These tools aids students in their individual educational paths and accommodates a variety of learning characteristics. However, rigorous planning must go into how to modify and create online resources that are both inclusive and successful in addressing a variety of learning requirements. Indian Cultural and social diversity is a foundation of inclusive education, fostering understanding and respect among learners from various backgrounds. Integrating digital tools into this context offers a platform to showcase diverse cultural perspectives and foster cross-cultural collaboration. The most important challenge is the lack of social presence, which severely affects student motivation and participation. This is particularly urgent for underserved students, to ensure equitable use of technology, educators ensure culturally relevant content, which enriches the educational experience and also corroborate students' identities and their contribution. A essential component of successfully blend of technology and inclusiveness is educators’ professional development. In order for teachers to become qualified and capable, a proper professional development plan for educators must be prepared. While online and digital learning provides new potential, they also come with barriers for an inclusive education system. The digital divide continues to be a major obstacle, especially for disadvantaged populations. To bridge this gap, anticipatory steps must be taken to ensure that all students have equitable access to technology, internet and the resources they need to participate fully in online learning settings. This abstract depicts how the synergy between online and digital education and inclusive principles holds tremendous promise for transforming education into a space where every learner can thrive. Millennium Development Goals, Education for All is a Global North project. It never included the Global South. Abstract:Access to quality primary education is a major concern in India. Despite of having reasonable infrastructure, issues of teacher absenteeism, poor accountability of teachers, ineffective teaching learning materials and inadequate teaching procedures are still the prevailing causes for poor educational quality in lower tier schools. Though private schools with their high-end infrastructures have tried to establish their domination in imparting quality learning, the latter continue to remain a distant dream for the underprivileged students. Studies have revealed that Internet-enabled, Web 2.0 based blended learning environments can stimulate student engagement, motivation, and learning. However ICT-based supports in Indian schools are provided either mostly to those who can afford it, or as sporadic government experiments which are either discontinued or undervalued. In this context, the paper presents an Internet-enabled blended-learning platform, which combine traditional models of classroom interactions with synchronous e-learning, facilitated by expert online teachers with digital audio-visual contents. The pilot study conducted using proposed blended learning platform proves that it is possible to provide quality education to underprivileged school students. The findings indicate that blended learning platforms in classroom settings, along with quality digital content, expert online teachers and on-site teaching assistants as class coordinator creates a learning environment that can improve learning achievements and well-being of students drastically, irrespective of their socioeconomic status.

Abstract:India’s higher education system is the world’s third largest in terms of students, next to China and the United States. Unlike China, however, India has the advantage of English being the primary language of higher education and research. India educates approximately 11 per cent of its youth in higher education as compared to 20 per cent in China. The main governing body at the tertiary level is the UGC (University Grants Commission) in India, which enforces its standards, advises the government, and helps coordinate between the centre and the state. Universities and its constituent colleges are the main institutes of higher education in India. Higher education makes individual free from ignorance and superstitions, it is the directive to bridge the knowledge gap between countries and communities enriching dialogues between people, culture, international living and networking of ideas, research and technologies.It is the quality of higher education that decides the quality of human resources of the country. This paper highlights the issues and challenges which are the real hindrances for harmonious development in higher education system and the suggestions for overcoming it because the quality higher education can only eliminate the root of the problems.
The Education for All and inclusive education debate: conflict, contradiction or opportunity?

Abstract:This paper begins with an exploration of the history of the international Education for All (EFA) programme and its tendency to overlook some marginalised groups of children, in particular those seen as having ‘special educational needs’ or impairments and disabilities. The exclusion from ‘mainstream’ education programmes of the estimated, though unreliable, figures of 90 or 98% of children in Southern countries has, until relatively recently, been largely unchallenged. The explanation lies in the still prevalent view that some children are ‘ineducable’ and that overcrowded and under‐resourced schools would not be able to cope. Consequently, a largely parallel, international debate has developed about ‘inclusive education’, within which many conflicting positions exist. We suggest that there is an unhelpful and wasteful polarisation between EFA and inclusive education. Although inclusive education is defined by some writers in terms of overcoming barriers to learning and development for all children, in the context of Southern countries it tends to fill the gap left by EFA and so focuses almost exclusively on disabled children. This paper challenges some of the rhetoric, but also highlights the opportunities created by the current international interest in, and apparent commitment to, delivering quality education for all children. The paper concludes by offering a re‐conceptualisation of the relationship between EFA and inclusive education, argues for greater collaboration and synergy between these currently parallel initiatives, and suggests ways in which practitioners and policy makers can develop more sustainable, and context‐appropriate, policies and practices.

Abstract:All children should be treated equally, feel significant and should not left out. The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) focuses on supporting culturally, socioeconomically and racially diverse school district populations. Public education is a right for all well and disadvantaged children. Inclusive education treated learners fairly and with dignity regardless of their race, color, physical ability, learning styles and interests. It is a dynamic process where stereotypes, exclusion from education, inactivity, discrimination are terms that will not be tolerated anymore. Nevertheless, the activation of comprehensive education in Palestine remains limited due to the lack of skills of teachers to contain all students at all levels, and the lack of material resources, equipment and means, and therefore appropriate legislation and laws for the Palestinian context must be enacted to facilitate the integration of people with special needs into our schools. Therefore, this study aims to highlight the history of inclusive education, its objectives, the justifications for its application, inclusive education and private education, the role of teachers when applying them, and the challenges of their application in Palestine.‎ Key words: Inclusive education, challenges, Palestine.

Abstract:Abstract This paper focuses on the provision of center-based preschool education for children ranging in age from 3 to 6 years in India. It estimates access rates to various services and highlights issues related to equitable access to preschool services and the quality of preschool education. While India has made great strides in improving access to preschool education, numerous challenges have to be addressed to enhance its quality. The National Educational Policy 2020 and the country’s commitment to meet UN Sustainable Development Goal Target 4.2 by 2030 and ensure that all girls and boys have access to quality pre-primary education provide opportunities to ensure equitable access to quality preschool education. Central to meeting national targets is the enforcement of the National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Care and Education. Further, increased budget allocations to preschool education, prioritizing professional preparation of the early childhood work force and harnessing technology to monitor government programs have considerable potential to enhance the early childhood system.

Abstract:A fundamental component of contemporary educational systems, inclusive education seeks to provide different learners equal chances regardless of their aptitudes, histories, or personal traits. This study examines successful tactics and best practices in inclusive education with an emphasis on catering to the requirements of a diverse student body. The essay explores the complexity of variety among learners, including students with disabilities, English language learners, brilliant students, and individuals from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. It starts with a thorough explanation and justication for inclusive education. The essay highlights the main obstacles that educators encounter while adopting inclusive education approaches, including a lack of resources, insufcient training, and attitudes that stand in the way. It does this by synthesizing existing research and empirical data. In light of this, research-proven best practices and approaches are explored, such as the incorporation of assistive technology, collaborative teaching models, differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and positive behavioral interventions. Furthermore, the signicance of pre-service teacher training and continuous professional development is underscored, emphasizing the need for educators to cultivate capabilities in curriculum adaptation, varied classroom management, and inclusive environment nurturing. Emphasis is placed on the community's, parents', and families' support of inclusive education efforts. This highlights the importance of stakeholder collaborations with schools. The paper also discusses the difculties associated with assessment and evaluation in inclusive environments and considers the consequences for legislation, particularly the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). In order to provide insights into promoting inclusive education practices and guaranteeing fair opportunities for all learners, the possible inuence of inclusive education on student outcomes is nally explored, along with suggestions for future study, policy change, and professional development.

This paper aims to study the significance of educational leadership in promoting sustainable development, its basic principles, core competencies and approaches required for effective leadership. Beyond Corporate Social Responsibility: A Role for Corporate India in Rural Primary Education

Abstract:With the bulk of India’s population residing in rural areas, access to quality primary education in non-urban areas is vital to unlock the country’s vast economic potential. Good primary education is likely to provide a solid foundation to the rural poor for acquiring higher education, professional skills and employment, thereby reducing poverty for them and enabling sustained economic growth for the country. Government schools, which comprise the majority of schools in rural India, have been unable to address the challenge due to inferior facilities, ineffective teaching and mismanagement. As a result, rural parents, who can afford to do so, are increasingly enrolling their children in private schools that have been opportunistically set up in relatively affluent rural areas. While such schools demonstrate better results than government schools, they are far from adequate in terms of quality and accessibility. We believe that there is a need to meet the twin challenges of quality and accessibility with more innovative methods which involve more than the traditional providers of education. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is becoming more central to the societal expectations from commercial organizations, with the possibility that spending a certain percentage of corporate income on societal welfare is likely to have legislative sanction. However, with a few exceptions, CSR in India seems to lack focus and ownership towards socio-economic development initiatives such as rural education. We argue that more corporations should focus their CSR initiatives towards addressing the challenges of primary education in rural India. There is a critical need for good educational institutions, which have thus far confined themselves to urban areas, to establish primary schools in rural areas. However, several other challenges need to be addressed in order to facilitate the entry of such institutions into rural areas as well as to enable students to enrol and continue in schools. We believe that a consortium of educational institutions, non-government organizations (NGOs), and other affiliated organizations lead by the CSR wing of a prominent private sector organization working in partnership with government institutions may be able to address these requirements. We argue that a collaborative partnership that has commonality of purpose, well-defined accountabilities and outcome-based performance measures has the potential to yield an order of magnitude improvement in rural primary education.

Abstract:Purpose: This research explains the challenges of inclusion in the context of Mexican education policy and how they are addressed in elementary school classrooms. Methods: This research involves an ethnographic analysis of the practices of five teachers in elementary schools in Mexico City, focusing on teachers' perspectives on student diversity, the challenges they face in their daily activities, and the strategies they employ to overcome them. Results: The results of the analysis show that the inclusion approach does not only emerge due to the presence of students with special conditions or certain characteristics, but is also influenced by the teachers' attitudes towards students' difficulties and the efforts they make to advance learning. Despite the observed inclusion of practices, research also identifies the persistent influence of medical and psychological perspectives on student learning, behavior, and difficulties. This research highlights the need to broaden the focus on the work of teaching and create conditions that support inclusive education in the classroom. Conclusion: An inclusive approach to education is not only concerned with students with special needs or certain characteristics; This is also influenced by the teacher's attitude towards student difficulties and the efforts made to improve learning. Teachers' attitudes and actions during teaching also play an important role in promoting inclusivity, although inclusive practices already exist, research shows the ongoing impact of medical and psychological perspectives on students' education, behavior and challenges. Understanding these perspectives is important for overcoming student learning difficulties and promoting more effective and sustainable approaches to inclusion in education. The implications of this research confirm that an inclusive approach to education requires attention to students' needs as well as teachers' attitudes and actions in helping them overcome learning difficulties, with a deep understanding of the long-term impact of medical and psychological perspectives to increase the effectiveness of inclusion in the education system.
