Abstract:Under the strategy of developing the country through science, technology and education, China's education has developed rapidly; the scale and quantity of state-owned assets in universities are increasing year by year. However, the problem of state-owned assets management in universities is becoming more and more prominent due to the lack of performance evaluation system. This paper has started from analyzing the present situation of the state owned assets management in universities, then discussed the necessity of establishment the performance evaluation system, as well as construction of performance evaluation system from management mechanism, asset allocation, asset use and asset disposal. Finally, according to the practice of M university, this paper refined the evaluation points and introduced the operation and result application of performance evaluation. The purpose is to offer a reference for strengthening the management and improving the efficiency of state-owned assets in universities.
