The research contends that the essence of sustainable urban growth is inextricably linked with the life quality of inhabitants, highlighting the paramount importance of safety and security. In urban environments, the impact of crime-related fear on social unity, economic growth, and environmental guardianship is scrutinized. Fear is not just a reflection of actual crime statistics; it is also molded by various factors like the physical environment, media depictions, and general social perceptions. Particularly affected are vulnerable groups like women, the elderly, and ethnic minorities, who face heightened fear, resulting in deepening social divides and hampering inclusive urban progress.
