Abstract:The problem stemming from the implementation of quality management system within enterprises is presented in this article. The quality of products is one of the most important criteria of enterprise’s performance. Thus, its improvement has significant impact on the growth of production efficiency and, therefore, economic growth. The functions of quality management system, such as quality planning, organizing work and encouraging employees to ensure product quality, monitoring and evaluating product quality and managing product quality, are discussed in this article. Ten groups of product quality indicators are distinguished according to its characteristics. It is identified that controlling is an essential function in the quality management process. The following controlling types facilitate the process of controlling: input control, ongoing control, operational control, acceptance control and inspection control. Nevertheless, the most effective method of quality assurance is the quality management system based on the international standards of the ISO 9000 series. Development of assessment indicators system for production performance and evaluation plays an important role in quality management. Based on the analysis of the indicators, it can be concluded that quality management is a coordinated management function related to the operation of the enterprise. Eight principles of quality management system are considered as well as factors which negatively influence the effectiveness and efficiency of the quality management system are identified in this article.

Abstract:Introduction. In the practice of companies based on quality management, there are two main goals of its development. First of all, it is about optimizing the company in order to ensure its viability, in particular the competitiveness of products and services and increase production efficiency. And if such a goal is really in the forefront of the company, especially for the first manager, it is already promising, and such a company has a chance to implement the current quality management system. It should be noted immediately that it cannot provide a quality management system. The quality management system is a kind of structure to which appropriate decisions to improve processes and product quality should be tied. The purpose of the paper is to show the optimization of the company in order to ensure its viability, in particular the competitiveness of products and services and increase production efficiency, to demonstrate to everyone, including potential consumers, that the company can constantly produce products of a certain level of quality. Results. The quality management system contributes to the release of human potential, which guarantees the performance of public service at the highest level. Increasing the motivational potential of the company's staff is carried out in order to create a system of incentives to meet the identified motivational needs of employees. Therefore, one of the options is the process "Staff motivation", recommended by the ISO 9001 MS, which registers the needs for employee motivation and measures the satisfaction of identified needs. Conclusion. Quality management is a system of personnel management, which should be supplemented by the introduction of a number of motivational measures, because the company needs not only to have qualified specialists, but also to motivate them to effectively use their potential.

Abstract:The paper is devoted to the study of self-management as an effective tool for improving the quality of management of modern enterprises. The modern approaches to the practice of self-management is analyzed in the paper. The place of self-management in the structure of general management of enterprises is defined. It has been established that the majority of scientific works consider self-management exclusively as a means of increasing the productivity of a specific employee, which collectively ensures increasing in the overall productivity of the staff. The hypothesis was put forward that there is a direct relationship between the practice of self-management and the indicator of the enterprise's financial income. An analysis of modern approaches to the phenomenon of self-management was carried out. The key components of self-management are defined. It has been established that currently self-management has undergone three stages of development. The first stage involves studying the experience of individuals regarding the effectiveness of various techniques in their personal work by trial and error. The second stage reveals the development of such skills as memory training and rational reading. The third stage is due to the systematization of technical knowledge of individual work. It has been established that self-management significantly affects the profitability of modern enterprises, regardless of their specifics and size. The effective methods by which self-management can have a positive effect on the company's profit are identified, namely by reducing costs, increasing motivation, expanding innovation and improving quality. The main methods that make it possible to establish the relationship between self-management and the company's financial indicators are: analysis of financial indicators, employee surveys, comparative analysis with competitors, customer reviews. The article provides examples of empirical studies that confirm the proposed hypothesis regarding the existence of a direct relationship between the practice of self-management and the company's income indicator. The main ways of self-management that could improve the quality of management at modern enterprises are proposed, namely: expanding opportunities, adaptability, innovativeness, responsibility and constant self-improvement. It has been established that self-management is a valuable tool for modern enterprises that seek to improve the quality of their management practices.

An analysis of the features of system management was carried out, the definition of the concept of system management was systematized and formed, taking into account foreign and domestic research. The role of system management in the overall management system of a modern enterprise is determined. The general directions of improvement of the management system of the enterprise are considered. Abstract:The study proposes a methodological approach to measuring the efficiency of business entities in industry, which can serve as a working tool for analytical purposes and the further development of appropriate methodological support. The dialectic of the development of ideas about the efficiency of industrial production and the quality of the purposeful work of enterprises presupposes continuous improvement of methods and indicators for its assessment. The most justified of them in the process of social, economic, social development must correspond to the logic and existing conditions. The development of market relations in the field of production and sale of industrial products poses for business entities the task of conducting a competitive struggle both in terms of price and in the direction of expanding the range of products. Considered indicators such as market share and financial results from the sale of products. The use of the consolidated index of efficiency and integral assessment of the quality of the functioning of an industrial enterprise is proposed. Such a methodological approach to measuring production efficiency based on the simultaneous accounting of both the financial result of the enterprise's work and the market share obtained in the competition seems to be more effective. Scientific substantiation of the managerial decision concerning increase of quality of functioning of the industrial enterprise in itself difficult task which demands the complex account of the reality, knowledge of qualification of managers making decisions. At the level of an individual enterprise, the proposed system of indicators can serve as a basis for increasing the average wage of employees during the conclusion of collective agreements between enterprises and trade unions. This criterion of the quality of management and the level of efficiency of industrial activity of an industrial enterprise is to achieve the optimal value of output of products or services with a certain amount of neutral and other resources in a certain period. Keep in mind that for each performance indicator, it is possible to calculate detailed partial indicators, ie those that characterize their individual segments.

Abstract:The peculiarities of the concept of Total Quality Management (hereinafter – TQM) in the activities of domestic enterprises in the conditions of the implementation of the European development vector of Ukraine were studied. It is indicated that the guarantee of the enterprise's activity on the basis of sustainability is its competitiveness. It is emphasized that ensuring the proper quality of the performed works and services is one of the important tasks that are solved at the enterprise within the framework of management activities. Attention is focused on the fact that in modern conditions of economic development, quality is a general set of characteristics of products (work, services), which are part of (are a component of) marketing, development, production and maintenance, with the help of which products (work, service) must meet needs at a price the consumer can afford. Quality management is defined as a continuous process of influencing production through the consistent performance of logically interrelated functions to ensure product quality. It has been investigated that effective management of the quality of goods, works and services can be ensured by creating a quality management system at the enterprise. It is noted that today in quality management at the enterprise, a certified quality management system is important, which is a guarantee of high stability of quality characteristics of products, goods and services. The quality system certificate allows the enterprise to maintain a competitive advantage in the market. It was emphasized that a significant impetus for the creation of international standards of the ISO 9000 series can be considered a significant increase in consumer demands for product quality.These requirements are regulated by relevant regulatory documentation (standards, technical conditions and regulations). It is noted that the quality management process should cover all the stages of production. It is indicated that, regardless of the direction of the activity of the business entity, the quality policy declared by the top management of the enterprise must ensure such a level of quality that guarantees the optimal profit of the enterprise. Ways to achieve this goal can be different and are determined by the general market strategy of the enterprise. It was concluded that modern quality management at the enterprise, regardless of the forms of ownership and scale of production, should optimally combine actions, methods and means that ensure, on the one hand, the production of products, goods and the provision of services that meet the current requirements and needs of the market, and on the other hand, the development of new products capable of meeting future market demands and needs.

Abstract:In the modern development of business technologies, the key resources of any organization, along with informational, financial, and technological ones, are human resources. Enterprises compete, in particular, on the level of professional development of their employees – their knowledge, skills, and abilities. For the most reasonable and effective use of this resource, it is necessary to correctly assess and increase this level. Different systems and methods of personnel evaluation allow to identify and reveal the potential of each employee and direct this potential to the realization of the company’s strategic goals. For the successful functioning of any organization, it is necessary to analyze the qualifications, competence and performance of each specific manager. In this regard, the analysis of the competences and effectiveness of the management personnel becomes especially relevant, which will allow to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the management, the reserves of labor productivity growth, determine the optimal numerical composition, and coordinate activities according to needs. For any enterprise or organization, improving the qualifications of personnel is a very important issue, because in order to be a competitive enterprise, to use new technical and technological developments, to improve the quality of products or services, qualified personnel are needed, they constantly improve their qualifications in due to the rapid development of technologies. In addition, the stability and success of the business depends on the qualifications of the staff. Currently, new technologies are constantly being introduced, science is rich in developments, so the main goal of working with personnel is constant training and improvement of staff qualifications. In serious companies, managers have already understood that it is difficult to achieve high-quality solutions in the company, if decisive steps are not taken in the field of personnel training. Abstract:The article studies the key factors of the quality management system in ensuring the international competitiveness of enterprise. It is revealed that the development of enterprise strategy, determination of its strategic goals and key factors of advantages should be carried out by employees of the enterprise familiar with the features, advantages and disadvantages of this enterprise, knowledge of the market and industry in which the enterprise operates. Each industry and each enterprise will be characterized by its own composition of key factors of the advantages of the quality management system. Four groups of key factors of the quality management system in ensuring the international competitiveness of enterprise have been identified: factors of scientific and technical advantages, which are key for the functioning and development of enterprises of high-tech industries and are based on achieving high efficiency of production organization; factors of organizational and managerial advantages of the quality management system, containing factors that are able to ensure high quality management of both production processes and, in general, high quality management of processes and functioning of the enterprise; factors of marketing advantages of the quality management system, which directly reflect those marketing components that ensure the competitiveness of activities and products of the enterprise, including in international economic markets; The factors of advantages of having knowledge and experience of the quality management system, which determine the overall accumulation of knowledge of intellectual human capital and the experience of the enterprise and its employees in the market, are the basis of the competitive potential of the enterprise and ensure the growth of competitiveness of the enterprise both in the domestic market and in the implementation of international economic activity. It is determined that in order to apply the key factors of the quality management system as the basis for competitiveness of enterprise, it is necessary to organize work and focus simultaneously on two components: management of processes of work organization and introduction of changes, as well as on management of personnel and employees.

Abstract:The article deals with methods of forming an effective enterprise management system based on the results of its diagnosis with the help of the most appropriate analytical tools. There are the method of calculation of integrated indicators of efficiency of resource potential management, commercial and financial activity of the enterprise and the general integrated indicator of efficiency of management system; methods of compiling a functional model of management evaluation; method of pairwise comparisons based on multidimensional scaling to take into account the negative impact of the most important external and internal factors. The application of these methods of diagnosing the effectiveness of the enterprise management system allows to outline the range of problems and shortcomings of the management subsystems, the most common of which are: reducing the profitability of goods, services, works; unsatisfactory liquidity of assets and concentration of equity; imperfection of motivation and coordination processes; inefficiency of communication processes, which is manifested in the inconsistency of managers’ perceptions of the state of affairs in the organization to the assessments of employees. The system of measures to improve the efficiency of enterprise management is proposed, which consists of: measures to increase the profitability of goods (reduction of administrative, marketing and other operating costs, increase productivity by training and improving production skills, improving the nature and working conditions); measures to review and supplement the current system of employee motivation (formation of clear criteria for staff evaluation, analysis and consideration of real needs of employees, creating a differentiated reward system, providing (expanding) the social package, creating opportunities for career growth, involvement in decision making) ; measures to improve coordination actions during the performance of management functions; measures to establish effective internal communications; measures to improve the financial condition of the enterprise.

Abstract:Quality management has gained paramount importance in the manufacturing process. The emphasis on reduction of quality costs for analysis of alternatives in productivity improvement is increasing. Business today requires quality throughout the value chain. At the case study company, there is an ineffective quality management system with very little quality control and monitoring of activities thus leading to an average of 16% of the production hours being attributed to reworks, re-inspection, scrap and waste, hence impacting negatively on productivity. Due to final product inspection, reworks, re-inspection, scrap and waste have been on the increase within the production processes. The paper investigates the quality issues that are negatively impacting on productivity using a qualitative approach. Measures to improve quality are suggested resulting in productivity improvement. Some of these measures include training employees, and adoption of quality tools such as statistical Process Control amongst others.

Abstract:Efficient production management is essential for enterprises to maintain competitiveness and optimize resource utilization. Lean production principles have proven to be effective in streamlining operations, eliminating waste, and improving overall productivity. This study aims to enhance the enterprise production management system by implementing lean production principles. Through a systematic analysis of existing production processes, waste identification, and the application of lean tools and techniques, the study proposes strategies for process optimization, inventory management, quality improvement, and workforce engagement. Abstract:It is suggested to consider the quality management system (QMS) as a large complex system and applying appropriate analysis methods, especially at the designing stage, since it gives grounds to the system model and mistakes, made at this stage, are the most costly and hard to amend. For analyzing the system, it is suggested using the theory of relations with carrying out the structural analysis that allows providing information about the "loading" rate and importance of system elements, comparing the systems with other structures, obtaining data on "weaknesses" of the system, that will enable timely improving and correcting the system. It is suggested to assess the quality management system according to such system properties as system coherence, process rank, system persistence that will give a quantitative characterization of the system at the designing stage. The proposed toolkit can be used in making decisions on developing a quality management system at its early designing stage, in order to avoid errors and ensure the efficiency of the system under development.

Abstract:With the constant improvement of the quality of life of people, as well as the intensification of competition in the domestic and foreign markets, the quality and safety of agricultural products faces new challenges. Only competitive enterprises can produce food products in accordance with the requirements of international standards and will be able to take advantage of international cooperation in investment, crediting, certification, insurance, scientific and technical support of agricultural production and sale of food products. The article summarizes the concepts: "quality management system", the factors that affect the level of product quality are determined, proposals are presented. The general principles and provisions of the most common quality management systems based on international standards that are recommended to be implemented in the activities of agricultural enterprises are analyzed. The necessity and advantages of implementing a quality management system (HACCP - Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) as a tool for the production of quality agricultural products are determined. The application of the food safety management system based on the idea (HACCP - Hazard Analyses and Critical Control Points) provides the company with the opportunity provide guarantees for the production of a safe product through continuous control at all stages of production; qualitatively manage all critical factors that threaten food safety - eliminate, minimize or prevent their occurrence; provide guarantees that food products are safe at the time of consumption; guarantee proper sanitary conditions of production in accordance with international standards; ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements for food safety; establish the trust of consumers, partners and Effective quality management is a comprehensive and systematic management process that is carried out on the basis of strict adherence to the principles of quality management, with minimal costs and maximum results. Abstract:Ensuring the economic security of the enterprise plays a significant role in its functioning in general. The implementation of an effective mechanism of economic security of the enterprise requires due attention from the managers to the issues of the level of integration into the global information space, the economic interests of the company, the level of expenditure of corporate resources and a clear organization of activities. THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY is the further development of methodological, methodical and practical approaches to the management of the quality of business processes of a fashion industry enterprise in the context of its achieving sustainable development. RESEARCH METHODS. The research used scientific methods of theoretical generalization, analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction, structural-logical analysis, historical method. RESULT. The high quality of products and services plays a decisive role in achieving sustainable development of the enterprise. The relationship between sustainable development and quality management at the evolution stages of enterprises and organizations is considered. Four stages have been identified, which correspond to organizational models, determined by a combination of the following features: closed – open system; rational – social thinking. The place of quality management and sustainable development in each organization’s model is determined. The quality chain reaction of E. Deming was supplemented and expanded with additional links of ecological and social component and it was shown that high product quality leads to a positive economic, social and ecological effect, i.e. ensures the sustainable development of the enterprise. The special role of the ecological component of sustainable development is highlighted. In order to avoid and counteract environmental threats, enterprises carry out rational nature management measures and processes of ecologically balanced development. The indicators of environmental protection activities in Ukraine 2016–2020 were reviewed. CONCLUSIONS. Sustainable development is the driver of quality management of business processes at the enterprise, which is confirmed by the logical chain of quality improvement influence on the economic, environmental and social components of sustainable development of the producer. The organization model in the period of open systems and social individual ensures comprehensive quality management and sustainable development of the enterprise. The quality management system of business processes at a fashion industry enterprise, which meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015, is a tool for realizing the goals of sustainable development of the enterprise. CURRENT ISSUES OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTION

Abstract:The quality management system (QMS) is one of the prerequisites for successful production activities and serves as a basic mechanism to ensure strict compliance of medical and pharmaceutical organizations in the format of the requirements of applicable standards and regulations. The aim of the work was to analyze the quality management system of pharmaceutical production from the point of view of employees of the enterprise. As an information base the works of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of quality management system, as well as regulatory and organizational documentation on pharmaceutical activities were taken. The questionnaire method served as the main research method, as a result of which 96 employees of pharmaceutical production facilities in Orel, Kostroma, Moscow, Lipetsk and Leningrad regions were interviewed. It was found that from the documents of good manufacturing practices the respondents were most familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices, manufacturing (GMP). The provisions of other good manufacturing practices (GLP, GCP, GSP, GDP, GPP) are mostly unfamiliar to the employees. The majority of respondents believe that the quality of medicines has improved over the last five years, with 56.2% of respondents believing that not all manufacturers comply with good manufacturing practices, explaining that the rules are very complex and it is too expensive for a company to comply with them. The survey found that under the concept of "quality of medicines" employees of pharmaceutical companies mainly mean: safety when used (80.4%); efficacy (79.4%); compliance with the declared characteristics (78.4%). It was found that the specialists of pharmaceutical companies have a positive attitude to the processes of digitalization, but they note the high financial costs at the stages of its implementation and dependence on foreign-made equipment. Thus, we can conclude that the information base in the Russian pharmaceutical production is mainly focused on industry documentation and, to a lesser extent, on related areas; the current industry regulatory framework requires improvement in terms of formalizing processes and specifying requirements.
