Abstract:Herein, the theory of Bergman kernel is developed to the weighted case. A general form of weighted Bergman reproducing kernel is obtained, by which we can calculate concrete Bergman kernel functions for specific weights and domains.

Abstract:For a weight function in the unit disk which is the modulus of a finite product of powers of Blaschke factors, we give a canonical representation for the reproducing kernel of the corresponding weighted Bergman space in terms of the values of the kernel and its derivatives at the origin. This yields a formula for the contractive zero divisor of a Bergman space corresponding to a finite zero set.

Abstract:We identify the standard weighted Bergman kernels of spaces of nearly holomorphic functions, in the sense of Shimura, on bounded symmetric domains. This also yields a description of the analogous kernels for spaces of “invariantly-polyanalytic” functions — a generalization of the ordinary polyanalytic functions on the ball which seems to be the most appropriate one from the point of view of holomorphic invariance. In both cases, the kernels turn out to be given by certain spherical functions, or equivalently Heckman-Opdam hypergeometric functions, and a conjecture relating some of these to a Faraut-Koranyi hypergeometric function is formulated based on the study of low rank situations. Finally, analogous results are established also for compact Hermitian symmetric spaces, where explicit formulas in terms of multivariable Jacobi polynomials are given.

Abstract:Boundary Behaviour of Weighted Bergman Kernels: For a planar domain $D \subset \mathbb{C}$ and an admissible weight function $\mu$ on it, some aspects of the boundary behaviour of the corresponding weighted Bergman kernel $K_{D, \mu}$ are studied. First, under the assumption that $\mu$ extends continuously to a smooth boundary point $p$ of $D$ and is non-vanishing there, we obtain a precise relation between $K_{D, \mu}$ and the classical Bergman kernel $K_D$ near $p$. Second, when viewed as functions of such weights, the weighted Bergman kernel is shown to have a suitable additive and multiplicative property near such boundary points. A Study on Holomorphic Isometries of Weighted Bergman Metrics: For a domain $D \subset \mathbb{C}^n$ and an admissible weight $\mu$ on it, we consider the weighted Bergman kernel $K_{D, \mu}$ and the corresponding weighted Bergman metric on $D$. In particular, motivated by work of Mok, Ng, Chan--Yuan and Chan--Xiao--Yuan among others, we study the nature of holomorphic isometries from the disc $\mathbb{D} \subset \mathbb{C}$ with respect to the weighted Bergman metrics arising from weights of the form $\mu = K_{\mathbb{D}}^{-d}$ for some integer $d \geq 0$. These metrics provide a natural class of examples that give rise to positive conformal constants that have been considered in various recent works on isometries. Specific examples of isometries that are studied in detail include those in which the isometry takes values in $\mathbb{D}^n$ and $\mathbb{D} \times \mathbb{B}^n$ where each factor admits a weighted Bergman metric as above for possibly different non-negative integers $d$. Finally, the case of isometries between polydisks in possibly different dimensions, in which each factor has a different weighted Bergman metric as above, is also presented.

Abstract:In this article, we study some properties of the $n$-th order weighted reduced Bergman kernels for planar domains, $n\geq 1$. Specifically, we look at Ramadanov type theorems, localization, and boundary behaviour of the weighted reduced Bergman kernel and its higher-order counterparts. We also give a transformation formula for these kernels under biholomorphisms.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the cases where the weighted Bergman metrics of a domain are invariant under biholomorphisms by introducing the concept of {\it invariant weight assignments}, focusing on two examples by Tian and Tsuji, respectively. Using Bergman's minimum integral method and a domain version of the Tian-Yau-Zelditch expansion for the weighted Bergman kernels and metrics, we give an alternative proof of uniform convergence of Tian's sequence of Bergman kernels and metrics on uniform squeezing domains. We also present a proof of the uniform convergence of Tsuji's dynamical kernel sequence on uniform squeezing domains.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with polynomially generated multiplier invariant subspaces of the weighted Bergman space A_β^2 in infinitely many variables. We completely classify these invariant subspaces under the unitary equivalence. Our results not only cover cases of both the Hardy space H^2(𝔻_2^∞) and the Bergman space A^2(𝔻_2^∞) in infinitely many variables, but also apply in finite-variable setting.
Reproducing Kernel Thesis of Hankel Operators on Weighted Hardy Spaces

Abstract:We study the boundedness of Hankel operators between two weighted spaces, with Muckenhoupt weights. In particular, we consider whether the Reproducing Kernel Thesis for Hankel operators generalizes to the case of two different weights. There, Hankel operators are bounded on the Hardy space if and only if they are bounded when tested on reproducing kernel functions. The supremum of testing the Hankel operator on this special class of functions is called the Garsia norm of the symbol of the Hankel operator, known to be equivalent to the BMO norm of the operator. We formulate a two-weight version of the Garsia norm and prove that testing the Hankel operator on the same reproducing kernel functions and measuring the norm in the two-weight setting is sufficient to prove that the operator is bounded. In the process,we prove that the Garsia norm is equivalent to the weighted Garsia norm, when two weights are the same, and we prove the two-weight version of the Carleson embedding theorem.

Weighted Szegő Kernels on Planar Domains

Abstract:We study properties of weighted Szegő and Garabedian kernels on planar domains. Motivated by the unweighted case as explained in Bell's work, the starting point is a weighted Kerzman-Stein formula that yields boundary smoothness of the weighted Szegő kernel. This provides information on the dependence of the weighted Szegő kernel as a function of the weight. When the weights are close to the constant function $1$ (which corresponds to the unweighted case), it is shown that some properties of the unweighted Szegő kernel propagate to the weighted Szegő kernel as well. Finally, it is shown that the reduced Bergman kernel and higher order reduced Bergman kernels can be written as a rational combination of three unweighted Szegő kernels and their conjugates, thereby extending Bell's list of kernel functions that are made up of simpler building blocks that involve the Szegő kernel.

Abstract:We explore the relationship between the Bergman kernel of a Hartogs domain and weighted Bergman kernels over its base domain. In particular we develop a representation of the Bergman kernel of a Hartogs domain as a series involving weighted Bergman kernels over its base, as well as a "transformation" formula for some weighted Bergman kernels. Other relationships of this type are presented.

Abstract:This article continues the study of the Hadamard–Bergman operators in the unit disc of the complex plane. These operators arose as a natural generalization of the orthogonal projector and represent an integral realization of multiplier operators. Here we consider mainly the further development of the theory of such operators in the context of operators of variable order, that is, with kernels depending on an external variable. We give some important examples illustrating the relevance of such research, including the integrodifferentiation operator of variable order and certain Volterra type operator studied in complex analysis earlier. It is worth noting that it is the Hadamard–Bergman operators that seem to lay claim to the most direct complex analogue of operators with homogeneous kernels in the unit disc. This opens up excellent opportunities for further development of the study of operators of the Hadamard–Bergman type.

Abstract:Given the reproducing kernel $k$ of the Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}_k$ we study spaces $\mathcal{H}_k(b)$ whose reproducing kernel has the form $k(1-bb^*)$, where $b$ is a row-contraction on $\mathcal{H}_k$. In terms of reproducing kernels this it the most far-reaching generalization of the classical de Branges-Rovnyaks spaces, as well as their very recent generalization to several variables. This includes the so called sub-Bergman spaces in one or several variables. We study some general properties of $\mathcal{H}_k(b)$ e.g. when the inclusion map into $\mathcal{H}$ is compact. Our main result provides a model for $\mathcal{H}_k(b)$ reminiscent of the Sz.-Nagy-Foiaş model for contractions. As an application we obtain sufficient conditions for the containment and density of the linear span of $\{k_w:w\in\mathcal{X}\}$ in $\mathcal{H}_k(b)$. In the standard cases this reduces to containment and density of polynomials. These methods resolve a very recent conjecture regarding polynomial approximation in spaces with kernel $\frac{(1-b(z)b(w)^*)^m}{(1-z\overline w)^\beta}, 1\leq m<\beta, m\in\mathbb{N}$.

Abstract:Contragenic functions are defined to be reduced-quaternion-valued harmonic functions which are orthogonal to all monogenic and antimonogenic functions in the $L^2$ norm of a given domain. The parallelism between the spaces of contragenic functions in the interior and exterior of the unit sphere in $\R^3$ is described in detail. Bergman reproducing kernels for the spaces of contragenic functions are given, mirroring the corresponding kernels for the spaces of vector parts of monogenic functions. Numerical examples are given showing the accuracy of truncations of the integral kernels. A striking duality is observed between the basic interior contragenic functions and the vector parts of exterior monogenic functions, and vice versa.

Abstract:We prove that the homogeneously polyanalytic functions of total order $m$, defined by the system of equations $\overline{D}^{(k_1,\ldots,k_n)} f=0$ with $k_1+\cdots+k_n=m$, can be written as polynomials of total degree $<m$ in variables $\overline{z_1},\ldots,\overline{z_n}$, with some analytic coefficients. We establish a weighted mean value property for such functions, using a reproducing property of Jacobi polynomials. After that, we give a general recipe to transform a reproducing kernel by a weighted change of variables. Applying these tools, we compute the reproducing kernel of the Bergman space of homogeneously polyanalytic functions on the unit ball in $\mathbb{C}^n$ and on the Siegel domain. For the one-dimensional case, analogous results were obtained by Koshelev (1977), Pessoa (2014), Hachadi and Youssfi (2019).
