Abstract:A system of nonlinear Riemann-Liouville fractional differential equations with a constant delay is studied. The initial condition is set up similarly to the case of ordinary derivative. Sufficient conditions for finite time stability are obtained.

Abstract:It this paper we study a system of nonlinear neutral fractional differential equations with Riemann-Liouville fractional derivatives and suppremum deay taken from both, the unknown function at the present time and the unknown function at the time delay and non-instantaneous impulses. We consider the case when the lower limit of the fractional derivative is changed at each stop point of the action of the impulses. In the case studied the solution has a singularity at the initial time and any stop time point of the impulses. This leads to an appropriate definition of both the initial condition and the non-instantaneous impulsive conditions. It is obtained the integral presentation of the solutions on a finite interval. Finite time Lipschitz stability is defined for the studied system and some sufficient conditions are obtained.

Abstract:Abstract In this paper, we study a system of nonlinear Riemann–Liouville fractional differential equations with delays. First, we define in an appropriate way initial conditions which are deeply connected with the fractional derivative used. We introduce an appropriate generalization of practical stability which we call practical stability in time. Several sufficient conditions for practical stability in time are obtained using Lyapunov functions and the modified Razumikhin technique. Two types of derivatives of Lyapunov functions are used. Some examples are given to illustrate the introduced definitions and results.

Abstract:This paper investigates the finite-time stability problem of a class of nonlinear fractional-order system with the discrete time delay. Employing the Laplace transform, the Mittag-Leffler function and the generalised Gronwall inequality, the new criterions are derived to guarantee the finite-time stability of the system with the fractional-order 0 < α < 1. Further, we propose the sufficient conditions for ensuring the finite-time stability of the system with the fractional-order 1 < α < 2. Finally, based on the modified Adams–Bashforth–Moulton algorithm for solving fractional-order differential equations with the time delay, we carry out the numerical simulations to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results, and calculate the estimated time of the finite-time stability.

Abstract:In this manuscript, we investigate a fractional stochastic neutral differential equation with time delay, which includes both deterministic and stochastic components. Our primary objective is to rigorously prove the existence of a unique solution that satisfies given initial conditions. Furthermore, we extend our research to investigate the finite-time stability of the system by examining trajectory behavior over a given period. We employ advanced mathematical approaches to systematically prove finite-time stability, providing insights on convergence and stability within the stated interval. Using illustrative examples, we strengthen this all-encompassing examination into the complicated dynamics and stability features of fractionally ordered stochastic systems with time delays. The implications of our results extend to various fields, such as control theory, engineering, and financial mathematics, where understanding the stability of complex systems is crucial.

Abstract:In this paper, we study finite time stability for two classes of nonlinear delay differential equations, one is equation with a nonlinearity independent of delay and the other is equation with a nonlinearity depending on delay. Based on the solution structure involving delayed matrix exponential, sufficient conditions for the finite time stability results are derived by utilizing the properties of delayed matrix exponential and Gronwall integral inequalities under linear growth conditions for the nonlinear terms. Finally, we demonstrate the validity of designed method by using two numerical examples.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the stability of n -dimensional linear fractional differential equation with time delays, where the delay matrix is defined in ( R + ) n×n . By using the Laplace transform, we introduce a characteristic equation for the above system with multiple time delays. We discover that if all roots of the characteristic equation have negative parts , then the equilibrium of the above linear system with fractional order is Lyapunov globally asymptotical stable if the equilibrium exist that is almost the same as that of classical differential equations. As its an application, we apply our theorem to the delayed system in one spatial dimension studied by Chen and Moore [ Nonlinear Dynamics 29 , 2002, 191] and determine the asymptotically stable region of the system. We also deal with synchronization between the coupled Duffing oscillators with time delays by the linear feedback control method and the aid of our theorem, where the domain of the control-synchronization parameters is determined.

Abstract:Stability of Riemann–Liouville fractional singular systems remains an open problem. This paper deals with Riemann–Liouville fractional singular systems with multiple time-varying delays, and two asymptotic stability criteria are derived. The criteria are described as matrix equations or matrix inequalities, which are computationally flexible and efficient. The advantage of our employed method is that one may directly calculate integer-order derivatives of the Lyapunov functions. Finally, a simple example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our main results.

Abstract:The finite time stability of nonlinear fractional order differential systems is investigated in this paper. Two versions of finite time stability of Lyapunov theorem for nonlinear fractional order differential systems are proposed. Based on the fractional order extension of Lyapunov method, the finite time stability problem is studied for nonlinear fractional order differential systems, and several stability results are obtained. Via the fractional Lyapunov method by the class-K functions, some sufficient conditions of finite time stability for nonlinear fractional order differential systems are presented. The main results improve the existing results on the finite time stability of general dynamic systems. An illustrative example is provided to illustrate the main results. © 2013 TCCT, CAA.

Abstract:The finite-time stability of fractional-order linear differential systems with time delays was studied. Firstly, with a new Lyapunov function and the linear matrix inequality, some sufficient conditions for the finite-time stability of fractional linear differential systems with time delays were derived. Then, under the action of a state feedback controller, some conditions for the finite-time stability of fractional differential closed-loop systems with time delays were given, and the design method for the controller was given. In the end, the effectiveness of the theoretical results was illustrated with two examples.

Abstract:We investigate the delay-independently asymptotic stability of fractional-order linear singular delay differential systems. Based on the algebraic approach, the sufficient conditions are presented to ensure the asymptotic stability for any delay parameter. By applying the stability criteria, one can avoid solving the roots of transcendental equations. An example is also provided to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the theoretical results.

Abstract:The objective of the manuscript is to build coupled singular fractional-order differential equations with time delay. To study the underline problem, an integral representation is initially discussed and the operator form of the solution is investigated using various supplementary hypotheses. Also, the existence and uniqueness of the considered problem are investigated by using the Lebesgue-dominated convergence theorem and some analysis results. Moreover, the stability analysis to determine the nature of the proposed model's solution is examined. Finally, two supportive examples are provided to demonstrate our analysis as applications.

Abstract:In this paper, we study finite-time stability of fractional differential systems with variable coefficients, which includes the homogeneous and nonhomogeneous delayed cases. Based on the theories of fractional differential equations, we obtain three theorems on the finite-time stability, which give some sufficient conditions on finite-time stability, respectively, for homogeneous systems without and with time delay and for the nonhomogeneous system with time delay. Abstract:In this paper, we provide an alternative approach to study finite time stability for semilinear multi-delay differential systems with pairwise permutable matrices associated with the stand and generalized Landau symbol conditions for nonlinear terms. The explicit representation of solutions involving a special multi-delayed exponential matrix function is developed to establish sufficient conditions to guarantee the systems are finite time stable by virtue of Gronwall integral inequalities with delay. Finally, we demonstrate the validity of the designed method and discuss it using numerical examples.
