Abstract:<p class="a-plus-plus">Washing clothes is one of the daily routine for the living population. Washing has been done by hands traditionally. But at present the technology has developed a lot and all the hand-done works are replaced by machines. One of such inventions is washing machine which helps the people to save the water, energy and time. Based on the needs and deeds of the people, a fuzzy logic control system has been developed. The input given for the process is type of clothes, degree of dirt and mass of the cloth load, and the output received is wash time, RPM, dry time and temperature. The simulation results show that the system provides a good wash quality. </p>
