Abstract:Direct-driven linear motor systems are widely used in high speed and high precision manufacturing, which is now urgently required for an optimal operation performance under constrain. The objectives of an optimal operation performance, including but not limited to, good robustness properties, high tracking accuracy, fast transient response. However, most existing controller design methodologies address one or two objectives only, let alone totally ignore disturbances and parametric uncertainties in their designs. In this paper, we present a two-layer strategy that could meet all the performance criteria and constraints, while consider the effects of disturbances and parametric uncertainties. The upper-layer computes the optimal replanned trajectory by solving nonlinear and non-convex optimization problems, since that the nonlinear dynamic model is directly embedded in the scheme, where a more aggressive replanned trajectory is obtained then. The lower-layer constructed an attractive domain to regulate the tracking, where the closed-loop states are forced to follow the optimal replanned trajectory sent by the upper-layer as close as possible, the stability and the disturbance rejection ability of the system is thus demonstrated theoretically. Comparative experiments are carried out also and the results further verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy, which shows superior transient response over previous approach.
