Abstract:The traditional festival carries an accumulated characters,beliefs,ideas,ways of thinking,values,moral sentiments,aesthetic tastes and other culture connotations in the historical process of nation,which is the fruit and carrier of the national spirit in a particular social soil of a long-term breeding.With the growing trend of globalization,to be a carrier of traditional culture festivals accompanied with the mutual integration and mutual collisions.Chinese Tanabata Festival and the Western Valentine's Day is the collision and impact of the typical examples between Chinese Tanabata Festival and Western Valentine's Day under perspective of intercultural communication,which is conductive to screening their intrinsic values,emotional mentality and positive factors and the spirit vitality carried by cultural symbols and is endowed with a new historical connotation of the traditional culture to enhance the competitiveness of its cultural transmission.
