What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The paper attempts to address the issue of how digital technology can promote the participation of residents and stakeholders in the intersection of public health and urban planning to support health-oriented urban planning. Specifically, the paper showcases the application of digital technology at different levels of participation through a series of case studies, including stages such as information collection, consultation, participation, collaboration, and empowerment, and analyzes how these technologies function in actual projects. Additionally, the paper discusses the advantages and limitations of digital technology in the participation process, emphasizing that at higher levels of participation (such as collaboration and empowerment), non-digital methods still need to be combined to supplement digital forms of participation.
