Abstract:This paper proposed a security monitoring and alarm system based on ZigBee technology, which was used to lessen the workloads in nursing homes. This system can monitor five physiological states of the elderly, including urine in bed, ambulation, falling, position and accidents in the washroom. This paper first introduced the whole structure of the monitoring system, then introduced each function module in detail. In order to measure the utility of the monitoring system, Sijiqing nursing home in Beijing tested the system and experiments proved that the system met its requirements.

Abstract:With the deep prevalence of the wireless network and sensor technology, the real time monitoring system with some application environment comes true gradually. This article designs a feasible Intelligent Home-Hospital System (IHHS) to a certain extent through the pivotal context-aware technology which plays an important role in the area of the pervasive computing and the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). The system provides the patient who needs to be professionally nursed by doctors anytime with real-time, household and convenient monitoring conditions. With using the XML language in the system modeling design, this article implements some context conflict-solving technologies. According to the design, the IHHS would bring the innovation for the remote intelligent medical service.

Abstract:The problem of an ageing population has become serious in the past few years as the degeneration of various physiological functions has resulted in distinct chronic diseases in the elderly. Most elderly are not willing to leave home for healthcare centers, but caring for patients at home eats up caregiver resources, and can overwhelm patients' families. Besides, a lot of chronic disease symptoms cause the elderly to visit hospitals frequently. Repeated examinations not only exhaust medical resources, but also waste patients' time and effort. To make matters worse, this healthcare system does not actually appear to be effective as expected. In response to these problems, a wireless remote home care system is designed in this study, where ZigBee is used to set up a wireless network for the users to take measurements anytime and anywhere. Using suitable measuring devices, users' physiological signals are measured, and their daily conditions are monitored by various sensors. Being transferred through ZigBee network, vital signs are analyzed in computers which deliver distinct alerts to remind the users and the family of possible emergencies. The system could be further combined with electric appliances to remotely control the users' environmental conditions. The environmental monitoring function can be activated to transmit in real time dynamic images of the cared to medical personnel through the video function when emergencies occur. Meanwhile, in consideration of privacy, the video camera would be turned on only when it is necessary. The caregiver could adjust the angle of camera to a proper position and observe the current situation of the cared when a sensor on the cared or the environmental monitoring system detects exceptions. All physiological data are stored in the database for family enquiries or accurate diagnoses by medical personnel.

Abstract:The ageing population has led to a dramatic increase in the demand for analysis and assessment of the health of older persons in public health services. Due to medical conditions and other reasons, most of the elderly in some urban nursing homes will only detect and analyze their own physiological indicators when they are sick. From the perspective of health management, we should continuously monitor the physiological indicators of each elderly individual, and through the analysis and evaluation of their daily physiological indicators data, and then predict and timely intervene in their health. This can not only effectively improve the health of the elderly, but also effectively reduce the pressure on public health services. In order to allow more elderly people in nursing homes to enjoy effective health monitoring and early warning and timely intervention, we have designed an intelligent health management system based on technologies such as cloud computing, Internet of Things, knowledge graph, and deep learning. The system consists of three parts: the Internet of Things platform, the intelligent analysis platform, and the SAAS management platform. The IoT platform is mainly responsible for collecting data such as daily physiological indicators, sleep data, air indicators, and service demands of elderly people in nursing homes. The intelligent analysis platform is mainly responsible for analyzing and evaluating the data collected by the IoT platform based on the disease knowledge map and related deep learning frameworks. The SAAS management platform is mainly responsible for background management and health data visualization on the nursing terminal, service terminal, and health monitoring terminal. The system realizes continuous monitoring, analysis, assessment, prediction and early intervention of the health of each elderly person in the nursing home, which effectively improves the health of the elderly and effectively reduces the pressure on public health services.

Abstract:Currently, China has entered the aging society, and the problems of elderly care have been focused by the whole society. In order to help the young people to take care of the elderly, a care service system integrated with SLAM algorithm was designed. This system includes four parts: ZigBee networking equipments, robot, cloud server and Andriod APP. It makes the robot based on SLAM algorithm achieve indoor navigation and map building. And it provides convenience for the disabled people, monitors the environment security information in real time and shows the physical data of the elderly, which can help young people who work outside master the physical healthy conditions of the elderly who are at home.

Abstract:Background Integrating technology with rural development is essential for addressing the unique challenges faced by aging populations in rural areas. China’s national rural revitalization strategy emphasizes the importance of developing characteristic towns that focus on health and wellness demands, particularly for the older adults. However, there is a gap in the literature regarding the systematic use of technology to support the health and daily living needs of this demographic. Objective This study aims to bridge this gap by proposing a wireless sensor network (WSN)-based system that integrates health monitoring and smart home assistance, specifically tailored for older adults residents in sports and wellness towns. Methods The system’s design involves collecting and analyzing historical activity data and basic physiological parameters from older adults residents’ homes. The data are cleaned, combined and stored to prepare it for behavior analysis, which is vital for controlling smart home equipment. Preliminary health assessments are conducted using the collected physiological data. A hybrid network leveraging Sub-G and Wi-Fi technologies is optimized for the purposes of collecting and uploading data, based on a comparative analysis of wireless communication options. Significance This study significantly contributes to the advancement of sports and wellness towns by promoting healthy aging through cutting-edge technological solutions.

Abstract:Abstract Wireless communication refers to long-distance transmission communication between multiple nodes without propagation through conductors or cables, and wireless communication can be carried out by radio and electromagnetic waves, etc. Judging from the current situation, the home space positioning design of the medical and elderly care communities is not perfect, which affects the traditional home care. Wireless communication can give wisdom, coordination, and development space in the smart elderly care space positioning design, allowing the elderly to interact, contact, and know their precise location and behavior. This article mainly studies the design and implementation of smart pension space positioning under BIM technology. This paper introduces the frontier of Internet-of-things technology and the theory of sensor network topology control. It uses basic IoT technology to implement the "point, line, and surface" combination of personnel placement algorithms, sensor network communication protocols, topology checks, security models, sensor network wireless communication units, and wireless communication technology. The basic technology and communication technology of personnel deployment based on BIM technology are introduced, the development strategy of wireless communications node is studied, the installation of equipment radio personnel and communication equipment is designed, and the system management platform for the design and development of staff placement in pension institutions is provided. The Web site's information service management, standardized procedures, optimized services, provision of information, intelligent management, and pension services. The experimental results of this paper show that the smart pension space positioning under the BIM technology solves the management loopholes in nursing homes, shortage of nursing staff, inefficiency, lack of services, and family conflicts. It improves the efficiency of the elderly by 25% and the safety index by 23–27%. The development of wireless communication technology promotes the development of intelligent pension space. It will be an important future development direction for the smart community pension.

Abstract:In this paper, wireless sensors are used to design and build a location management system for smart aging, and the optimization of this system is analysed. The function and structure of the positioning system are designed and implemented. Next, the system commissioning process and field implementation results are summarized and analysed to guarantee the reliability and integrity of the system. Finally, the system requirements and implementation are integrated to realize the basic requirements of the IoT-based elderly positioning management system and reserve the interface for later expansion. Finally, the system excellence and functional usability tested through unit testing as well as comprehensive testing. In this paper, a theoretical analysis of the prediction algorithm is carried out for the disease prediction module in the health monitoring software of the smart senior care system. To improve the accuracy of the prediction, the traditional BP neural network algorithm is optimized using DS evidence theory, thus fusing multiple sets of prediction results obtained from the BP neural network into a more accurate set of data, and the performance of the algorithm before and after the improvement is compared. The IoT-based home health management for the elderly starts from the health service demand of the elderly, explains the basic concept of IoT technology and home health management for the elderly, and analyses the feasibility of home health management for the elderly and the advantages of IoT technology in-home health management for the elderly; through the field research, the IoT-based home health management platform for the elderly is carried out from three aspects of users, business, and technology. The design covers the platform architecture and functional modules of the IoT-based senior home health management platform, which can solve the problem that the elderly can spend a comfortable life in their old age without going home.

Abstract:A home care system for the elderly is designed to solve the problems that were urgently needed under the serious aging situation. In the system, the radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology, sensor technology and communication technology are comprehensively used. This system can monitor to judge whether the elderly is in dangerous locations or has dangerous activities by gaining information from RFID card and the sensor in the mobile. If necessary, the system will give out the corresponding programs, such as reminding the peoples at the monitoring terminals or informing the police station, the hospital or their children (relations). The system can also offer helps to remind the elderly to take some medicine or go to hospital for checking. Once an accident happens, the alarm will be started up immediately by pressing the emergency button. It indicates that the system works well for home care for the elderly. The system provides a viable solution to the social problem of looking after the elderly.

Abstract:The economic development and the changes of social demographic structure have resulted in the problems of population aging sharply and elders’ chronic diseases getting serious. Population aging has become a critical problem in modern societies, and senior houses have become a primary option for the life care of elders. However, the regulations related to long-term care are not keeping up with the speed of population aging; also, the lack of caregivers cause the elders not receiving enough care on either outdoor or indoor activities from senior houses. Besides the lack of manpower, an effective healthcare management system is needed to solve the major problem. RFID used to apply on the identification in logistics industry and this technology has become more mature. RFID is now gradually applied to medical business and healthcare for elders. This study intends to replace traditional manual operation with the establishment of RFID positioning monitor and management system in order to reduce manpower as well as continuously transmitting data to the back-end server for real-time monitoring and post enquiry; the data in the database could also become the reference for risk evaluation and healthcare security. Moreover, the system provides not only personal tracker but alerts to secure healthcare so as to reduce chance of accidents happening in nursing homes. The integration of RFID with healthcare operation and information flow is proposed in this study, and the efficient management is also proposed to enhance the management benefits of nursing homes; therefore, this study is focusing on installing the equipment regarding to environment of senior house. The RFID auto positioning monitor system could real-time and continuously monitor and transmit seniors’ physiological signals wirelessly through active RFID Reader and active RFID Tag to promote the quality of healthcare. Besides, the active RFID Tag could be embedded in a wristband with RFID electronic label, tied with elders to receive real-time elders’ body temperature, location, and conditions for the information system. Caregivers in nursing homes therefore could understand the current situation of elders and monitor the seniors’ situations to prevent accidents.

Abstract:To improve the living quality of the elderly, the research on comprehensive indoor monitoring system for daily activities is of great importance. Some emergencies in the daily life of the elderly, including tumbling or falling off the bed, are difficult to be found and handled in time. This consequently delays the time for treatment. This study presents that based on ZigBee network, a new indoor monitoring system consists of two parts: the bed-exit detection and the toilet alarm subsystem. The bed-exit detection subsystem can detect whether the elderly is in the bed or starts to count time when the elderly totally gets up and leaves the bed. The toilet alarm subsystem can keep recording the time that elderly people stay in the room. If the suspected statuses are observed, the monitoring system will signal an alert warning to the caregivers who can check the real condition of the elderly people and help them get out of the trouble in time. Experiments were conducted and the results could illustrate the effectiveness and instantaneity of this system.

Abstract:Old age is the final stage in the life processes of a human being, and it is an age group comprising a segment of the oldest members of a population. During this phase of life, people need support and care. But in reality, due to changes in modern society, the elderly have to stay alone at home. Staying at old age homes is not possible for everyone. In current society, every member of the family has to work for a living and run the family. When this is the case, the elderly are left alone at home during the work hours of the other family members. In this research article, we are going to study the design of wireless network-based homes to ensure the safety and security of elderly people. Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to construct a safe and secure social system. In the current trend of smart homes, it is mandatory for people to install WSN-based home systems to take care of the elderly residents of their homes who stay alone for long periods of time. The home-based elderly care system is designed with the implementation of trending technologies like AI and WSN. The performance of the model is evaluated with the applied optimised neural network model and compared with the existing data summarization model. From the results, it can be seen that the proposed model has provided an accuracy of 98.89%, which is 4.77% higher than the proposed algorithm.

Abstract:At present, there is a certain lag in the construction of the service platform of the smart home pension system in my country, which does not reflect the use characteristics of the elderly. In order to improve the reliability of the smart service system for the elderly, this research builds a smart home care service platform based on machine learning and wireless sensor networks around the state of the elderly’s home life, disease stage, physical state, and intellectual state. Moreover, after comparing the advantages and disadvantages of several wireless sensor communication network technologies and in-depth understanding of communication principles and network topology, the overall design of the system is proposed. In addition, this study combines the design requirements of the system to optimize and improve the wearable physiological parameter collection system and focuses on the design and implementation of the hardware and software of the physiological parameter collection module in the construction of the new system platform. Finally, this study analyzes the performance of the model in this study through controlled trials. The results of the study show that the platform constructed in this paper is effective.

Abstract:At present, the problem of population aging in China is becoming more and more serious, and the problems faced by the pension model under the traditional model are becoming more and more serious. How to solve these problems through Internet of things technology, meet the diversified and intelligent needs of the elderly, and provide convenient home-based elderly care services for the elderly has become a common concern of the whole society. This paper makes full use of sensors and video detection technology to establish a home intelligent elderly care system to realize the real-time collection, reception, storage, query and display of home environment, heart rate, blood oxygen, body temperature and signs of the elderly, and whether the elderly fall. The results show that the design has high accuracy and real-time, and is a low-cost and practical home intelligent elderly care scheme.

Abstract:Based on the ZigBee technology, Home monitoring system has been designed and implemented in Wireless Sensor Network, intelligent wheelchair, and communication modules. The system works on the existing TD-SCDMA network. The working principle of the system, hardware and software designing are described in detail. After the test, the information collection of indoor environment and user physiological indexes were realized well, and could transmit in time. The purpose of remote monitoring has been achieved. This system has high practical value.

Abstract:In response to the advent of an aging society, in order to build a safe and secure living environment for the elderly, it is necessary to understand the smart technology that suits the needs of the elderly at home and in the community. The application of smart technology in the home and community environment of the elderly can not only reduce the care manpower for the elderly, but also improve the safety and security of the environment for the elderly through the development and application of smart technology. The intelligent building system has issues such as power and network wiring, information communication, information integration and management when planning the introduction of community care equipment. Therefore, this paper proposes a community care intelligent building system based on IoT technology. The proposed system includes Home Healthcare system(HHCS), Building Healthcare system(BHCS), Community Healthcare system(CHCS), management center and basic network construction architecture. In addition, this paper has the commercial values to meet the needs of the consumer market.
