Abstract:Pesticides bring a rich crop production for the agriculture, while also cause many controversies about the potential problems about overuse. Portable devices possessing detection and decontamination of pesticide residues present in the environment are badly needed to the safety of public health. Herein, two novel two-dimensional (2D) zinc-based organic frameworks (Zn-MOFs), {Zn(Htbia)2·H2O}n (Zn1) and {[Zn(tbia)·H2O]·H2O}n (Zn2), have been successfully prepared based on a asymmetric flexible ligand 5-((4′-(triazol-1-yl)benzyl)oxy)isophthalic acid (H2tbia). The twist of “–CH2– and –O–” centers endow double layer structure Zn2 high stability and abound open metal sites. Eco-friendly and recoverable Zn2@ZIF-8@SA gels were fabricated by in-situ growing Zn-MOFs onto sodium alginate substrates and employed for fluorescent detecting and removing pesticides from the environment simultaneously, which exhibit a low limit of detection (LOD) of quinclorac (QNC), 2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline (DCN), thiabendazole (TBZ) are 0.08 μM, 0.09 μM and 0.37 μM, respectively and a high removal capacity of QNC about 142.1 mg·g−1. Furthermore, the integrated detection platform Zn2@ZIF-8@SA is developed into a portable, simple, non-invasive sensor test box for visual detection of pesticide residues on plants and fruits.
