Abstract:Through the development of ligands and reaction conditions, the Rh(III)-catalyzed selective annulation of benzamides with internal alkynes has been achieved to the formation of <i>O</i>-cyclized isochromen-imines. Various substituents are well-tolerated under mild reaction conditions.
