Abstract:About 17 species of the genus Aridclus Marshall have been known to occur in China. Among these known species, only one, A. guizhoucnsis Luo was recorded in Guizhou Province. In this paper, three species are added to the fauna of Guizhou,if which one is new to science. This new species is fully described and figured.Detailed study showed that A. guizhouensis Luo is a junior synonym of A. flavi-cans Chao and the reasons for this treatment are given.1. Aridelua rufiventris sp nov. (figs. 1--3)This new species is similar to A. nigrithorax Muesebeck in length and colorpattern of the body, but may be easily seperated from the latter by the following characters: vertex, temple and cheek punctate; mesopleuron areolate sculpture justas the rest part of mesosoma and tarsi yellow.Holotype: , Guiyang (1250m) (26 6'N, 106 7'E), Guizhou Prov., Oct. 13,1982, Luo Qinghuai.
