Abstract:The proteins of membrane transporters (MTs) are embedded within membrane-bounded organelles and are the prime targets for improvements in the efficiency of water and nutrient transportation. Their function is to maintain cellular homeostasis by controlling ionic movements across cellular channels from roots to upper plant parts, xylem loading and remobilization of sugar molecules from photosynthesis tissues in the leaf (source) to roots, stem and seeds (sink) via phloem loading. The plant’s entire source-to-sink relationship is regulated by multiple transporting proteins in a highly sophisticated manner and driven based on different stages of plant growth and development (PG&D) and environmental changes. The MTs play a pivotal role in PG&D in terms of increased plant height, branches/tiller numbers, enhanced numbers, length and filled panicles per plant, seed yield and grain quality. Dynamic climatic changes disturbed ionic balance (salt, drought and heavy metals) and sugar supply (cold and heat stress) in plants. Due to poor selectivity, some of the MTs also uptake toxic elements in roots negatively impact PG&D and are later on also exported to upper parts where they deteriorate grain quality. As an adaptive strategy, in response to salt and heavy metals, plants activate plasma membranes and vacuolar membrane-localized MTs that export toxic elements into vacuole and also translocate in the root’s tips and shoot. However, in case of drought, cold and heat stresses, MTs increased water and sugar supplies to all organs. In this review, we mainly review recent literature from Arabidopsis, halophytes and major field crops such as rice, wheat, maize and oilseed rape in order to argue the global role of MTs in PG&D, and abiotic stress tolerance. We also discussed gene expression level changes and genomic variations within a species as well as within a family in response to developmental and environmental cues.

Abstract:Abiotic stress is one of the severe stresses of environment that lowers the growth and yield of any crop even on irrigated land throughout the world. A major phytohormone abscisic acid (ABA) plays an essential part in acting toward varied range of stresses like heavy metal stress, drought, thermal or heat stress, high level of salinity, low temperature, and radiation stress. Its role is also elaborated in various developmental processes including seed germination, seed dormancy, and closure of stomata. ABA acts by modifying the expression level of gene and subsequent analysis of cis- and trans-acting regulatory elements of responsive promoters. It also interacts with the signaling molecules of processes involved in stress response and development of seeds. On the whole, the stress to a plant can be susceptible or tolerant by taking into account the coordinated activities of various stress-responsive genes. Numbers of transcription factor are involved in regulating the expression of ABA responsive genes by acting together with their respective cis-acting elements. Hence, for improvement in stress-tolerance capacity of plants, it is necessary to understand the mechanism behind it. On this ground, this article enlightens the importance and role of ABA signaling with regard to various stresses as well as regulation of ABA biosynthetic pathway along with the transcription factors for stress tolerance.

Abstract:Abiotic stresses such as drought, salinity, and extreme temperatures pose significant challenges to plant growth, development, and productivity. Understanding the physiological mechanisms underlying plant adaptation to these stresses is crucial for developing strategies to enhance crop resilience and ensure food security. This review explores the key physiological responses of plants to abiotic stress, including stress perception and signaling, osmotic adjustment, antioxidant defense, and hormonal regulation. We highlight recent advances in our understanding of these mechanisms and discuss their implications for crop improvement. Additionally, we examine the role of genetic and epigenetic modifications in enhancing stress tolerance and the potential of biotechnological approaches to develop stress-resistant crop varieties. By integrating physiological insights with modern breeding and biotechnological techniques, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge and future directions in plant adaptation to abiotic stress.

Abstract:Abiotic stress is a primary threat to fulfill the demand of agricultural production to feed the world in coming decades. Plants reduce growth and development process during stress conditions, which ultimately affect the yield. In stress conditions, plants develop various stress mechanism to face the magnitude of stress challenges, although that is not enough to protect them. Therefore, many strategies have been used to produce abiotic stress tolerance crop plants, among them, abscisic acid (ABA) phytohormone engineering could be one of the methods of choice. ABA is an isoprenoid phytohormone, which regulates various physiological processes ranging from stomatal opening to protein storage and provides adaptation to many stresses like drought, salt, and cold stresses. ABA is also called an important messenger that acts as the signaling mediator for regulating the adaptive response of plants to different environmental stress conditions. In this review, we will discuss the role of ABA in response to abiotic stress at the molecular level and ABA signaling. The review also deals with the effect of ABA in respect to gene expression.

Abstract:Aquaporins are important transmembrane channel proteins required for the transport of water and nutrients to maintain plant water relations and its survival. The aquaporins have a characteristic structure and are divided into 5 distinct isoforms such as plasma membrane intrinsic proteins (PIP), tonoplast intrinsic protein (TIP), small basic intrinsic protein (SIP), nodulin-26 like intrinsic protein (NIP) and X intrinsic proteins (XIP). Aquaporins conducts transcellular movement of water molecules across the cell and organelles membranes. Apart from playing key role in maintaining water level inside the plant system it is also involved in transporting small neutral molecules including glycerol, urea, metalloids, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen peroxide and ammonia. In this way it regulates ionic homeostasis and water levels during environmental stresses including drought, chilling, salinity, and heavy metal toxicity and helps in providing tolerance toward the stress. It also plays a key role in maintaining the carbon and nitrogen level in the cell, transporting the key regulatory molecules and phytohormones mediated tolerance to plants. Scientist has also targeted aquaporins in order to develop stress tolerant transgenic species having improved functioning of aquaporins. Increase of water retention capability and usage efficiency by the plants represents the major research areas to confer abiotic stress tolerance. This review presents a comprehensive studies and intensive ongoing research to understand the diverse role of aquaporins in ensuring normal growth and development of plants. Current aspects of aquaporins and its isoforms in relation to its structure, function and regulation in different plant species have been highlighted. Further the potential of aquaporins in promoting plant survival during wide ranges of environmental situations is also emphasized.
miRNAs play critical roles in response to abiotic stress by modulating cross-talk of phytohormone signaling

Abstract:One of the most interesting signaling molecules that regulates a wide array of adaptive stress responses in plants are the micro RNAs (miRNAs) that are a unique class of non-coding RNAs constituting novel mechanisms of post-transcriptional gene regulation. Recent studies revealed the role of miRNAs in several biotic and abiotic stresses by regulating various phytohormone signaling pathways as well as by targeting a number of transcription factors (TFs) and defense related genes. Phytohormones are signal molecules modulating the plant growth and developmental processes by regulating gene expression. Studies concerning miRNAs in abiotic stress response also show their vital roles in abiotic stress signaling. Current research indicates that miRNAs may act as possible candidates to create abiotic stress tolerant crop plants by genetic engineering. Yet, the detailed mechanism governing the dynamic expression networks of miRNAs in response to stress tolerance remains unclear. In this review, we provide recent updates on miRNA-mediated regulation of phytohormones combating various stress and its role in adaptive stress response in crop plants.

Abstract:An ever-expanding world population and globally changing diet preferences have put considerable pressure on the worldwide agricultural community to produce more food, feed and bio-energy crops. As a result, marginal land areas will need to be used to meet the increasing requirement of future generations, especially in developing countries. These marginal areas commonly impose abiotic stresses on crops due to factors such as salinity, drought, temperature extremes, flooding, low nutrients and aluminium or heavy metal toxicity. As a consequence, the growth and yield of crops from such areas is typically low and their quality poor, limiting farmer income. Therefore, it is important to gain knowledge and insight of the intrinsic flexibility by which plants respond to these abiotic stresses. Throughout evolution, plants have developed a dazzling array of complex strategies for coping with abiotic stresses and adapting to a wide range of environments. Biochemical, physiological and molecular genetic studies of these strategies have been initiated, and, as in many plant research fields, those on Arabidopsis pave the way. However, the contributions in this special issue illustrate the progress made on other species and highlight the insights into this research field. The calcineurin B-like (CBL) and CBL-interacting protein kinase (CIPK) signalling pathway is a flexible, Ca signalling network that allows plants to fine-tune their stress mitigation responses. Thoday-Kennedy et al. (2015) provide a critical account of our current knowledge of CBL and CIPK interactions and their roles in ion transport under abiotic stress. Han et al. (2014) review the signalling pathways and key mechanisms of sodium detoxification mediated by ion transporters and antiporters, and give an overview of practical strategies and methodologies for functional characterisation of high-affinity potassium transporters. In addition, they discuss how to alleviate salt stress through the exogenous application of gibberellins and nitric oxide. Li et al. (2014a) focus on salt cress (Thellungiella halophila), a close relative of Arabidopsis, a species that has emerged as a model halophyte for the molecular elucidation of abiotic stress tolerance. Its seed germination is highly regulated by environmental and hormonal signals; thus, it provides opportunities to study how such external conditions are sensed. The mung bean (Vigna radiata) is salinity-sensitive and suffers considerably from soil salinity; as a consequence, reductions in germination, chlorophyll content, vigour and yield have been reported. Patel et al. (2014) draw attention to interactions that occur with this species in the rhizosphere and report on those with halotolerant Bacillus spp. These species were isolated from saline habitats and alleviate salt stress in mung beans thereby increasing germination and partially restoring root and shoot growth. Xuan et al. (2014) characterise the response of seedlings of yellowand black-seeded rape to salt and cadmium stresses, and show how tolerance is associated with flavonoid content. Li et al. (2014b) demonstrate how improvement of endogenous polyamine levels by exogenous spermidine application may promote drought tolerance of plants. Waterlogging is also a major constraint to crop production in many parts of the world due to anoxic conditions in the root zone. Najeeb et al. Abstract:Abiotic stresses, such as low or high temperature, deficient or excessive water, high salinity, heavy metals, and ultraviolet radiation, are hostile to plant growth and development, leading to great crop yield penalty worldwide. It is getting imperative to equip crops with multistress tolerance to relieve the pressure of environmental changes and to meet the demand of population growth, as different abiotic stresses usually arise together in the field. The feasibility is raised as land plants actually have established more generalized defenses against abiotic stresses, including the cuticle outside plants, together with unsaturated fatty acids, reactive species scavengers, molecular chaperones, and compatible solutes inside cells. In stress response, they are orchestrated by a complex regulatory network involving upstream signaling molecules including stress hormones, reactive oxygen species, gasotransmitters, polyamines, phytochromes, and calcium, as well as downstream gene regulation factors, particularly transcription factors. In this review, we aimed at presenting an overview of these defensive systems and the regulatory network, with an eye to their practical potential via genetic engineering and/or exogenous application.

Abstract:In recent times, the demand for food and feed for the ever-increasing population has achieved unparalleled importance, which cannot afford crop yield loss. Now-a-days, the unpleasant situation of abiotic stress triggers crop improvement by affecting the different metabolic pathways of yield and quality advances worldwide. Abiotic stress like drought, salinity, cold, heat, flood, etc. in plants diverts the energy required for growth to prevent the plant from shock and maintain regular homeostasis. Hence, the plant yield is drastically reduced as the energy is utilized for overcoming the stress in plants. The application of phytohormones like the classical auxins, cytokinins, ethylene, and gibberellins, as well as more recent members including brassinosteroids, jasmonic acids, etc., along with both macro and micronutrients, have enhanced significant attention in creating key benefits such as reduction of ionic toxicity, improving oxidative stress, maintaining water-related balance, and gaseous exchange modification during abiotic stress conditions. Majority of phytohormones maintain homeostasis inside the cell by detoxifying the ROS and enhancing the antioxidant enzyme activities which can enhance tolerance in plants. At the molecular level, phytohormones activate stress signaling pathways or genes regulated by abscisic acid (ABA), salicylic acid (SA), Jasmonic acid (JA), and ethylene. The various stresses primarily cause nutrient deficiency and reduce the nutrient uptake of plants. The application of plant nutrients like N, K, Ca, and Mg are also involved in ROS scavenging activities through elevating antioxidants properties and finally decreasing cell membrane leakage and increasing the photosynthetic ability by resynthesizing the chlorophyll pigment. This present review highlighted the alteration of metabolic activities caused by abiotic stress in various crops, the changes of vital functions through the application of exogenous phytohormones and nutrition, as well as their interaction.

Abstract:Agriculture production faces many abiotic stresses, mainly drought, salinity, low and high temperature. These abiotic stresses inhibit plants' genetic potential, which is the cause of huge reduction in crop productivity, decrease potent yields for important crop plants by more than 50% and imbalance agriculture's sustainability. They lead to changes in the physio-morphological, molecular, and biochemical nature of the plants and change plants' regular metabolism, which makes them a leading cause of losses in crop productivity. These changes in plant systems also help to mitigate abiotic stress conditions. To initiate the signal during stress conditions, sensor molecules of the plant perceive the stress signal from the outside and commence a signaling cascade to send a message and stimulate nuclear transcription factors to provoke specific gene expression. To mitigate the abiotic stress, plants contain several methods of avoidance, adaption, and acclimation. In addition to these, to manage stress conditions, plants possess several tolerance mechanisms which involve ion transporters, osmoprotectants, proteins, and other factors associated with transcriptional control, and signaling cascades are stimulated to offset abiotic stress-associated biochemical and molecular changes. Plant growth and survival depends on the ability to respond to the stress stimulus, produce the signal, and start suitable biochemical and physiological changes. Various important factors, such as the biochemical, physiological, and molecular mechanisms of plants, including the use of microbiomes and nanotechnology to combat abiotic stresses, are highlighted in this article.

Abstract:Plants are continuously exposed to various environmental stresses that significantly affect their growth, development, and productivity. Among these, drought, salinity, and temperature extremes are the most detrimental. Understanding the mechanisms underlying plant stress tolerance is crucial for developing strategies to improve crop resilience and ensure food security. This review comprehensively explores the physiological, biochemical, and molecular mechanisms of plant tolerance to drought, salinity, and temperature extremes. We discuss the roles of stress perception and signaling, osmotic adjustment, antioxidant defense, hormonal regulation, and genetic and epigenetic modifications. Additionally, we highlight recent advancements in breeding and biotechnological approaches aimed at enhancing stress tolerance in crops.

Abstract:Abiotic stress is the adverse effect of any abiotic factor on a plant in a given environment, impacting plants’ growth and development. These stress factors, such as drought, salinity, and extreme temperatures, are often interrelated or in conjunction with each other. Plants have evolved mechanisms to sense these environmental challenges and make adjustments to their growth in order to survive and reproduce. In this review, we summarized recent studies on plant stress sensing and its regulatory mechanism, emphasizing signal transduction and regulation at multiple levels. Then we presented several strategies to improve plant growth under stress based on current progress. Finally, we discussed the implications of research on plant response to abiotic stresses for high-yielding crops and agricultural sustainability. Studying stress signaling and regulation is critical to understand abiotic stress responses in plants to generate stress-resistant crops and improve agricultural sustainability.

Abstract:Aquaporins are channel proteins reported to play multiple functions in plants ranging from water, solutes, metalloids (arsenic, boron, silicon) transport, and tolerance to abiotic stresses including drought, salinity and cold. Based on their localization and sequence similarities, aquaporins have been classified into seven major subfamilies: plasma membrane intrinsic proteins (PIPs), nodulin 26-like intrinsic proteins, tonoplast intrinsic proteins, small basic intrinsic proteins, GlpF-like intrinsic protein, hybrid intrinsic proteins and the uncategorized (X) intrinsic proteins. PIP subfamily is one of the biggest subfamilies of aquaporin superfamily and they are localized to plasma membrane. Members of PIPs are involved in water and small neutral solute transport and play an important role in maintaining water homeostasis under environmental stress and are known to provide tolerance to various abiotic stresses. Recently, members of PIP subfamily have been shown to be involved in the bidirectional transport of metalloids, arsenic and boron in plants. This review highlights the involvement of various PIP homologs in plant stress responses against a variety of environmental stresses and metalloid transport and tolerance. Molecular insights and biotechnological approaches for developing climate resilient crops by modulating PIPs will be discussed.

Abstract:Lipids are a principal component of plasma membrane, acting as a protective barrier between the cell and its surroundings. Abiotic stresses such as drought and temperature induce various lipid-dependent signaling responses, and the membrane lipids respond differently to environmental challenges. Recent studies have revealed that lipids serve as signal mediators forreducing stress responses in plant cells and activating defense systems. Signaling lipids, such as phosphatidic acid, phosphoinositides, sphingolipids, lysophospholipids, oxylipins, and N-acylethanolamines, are generated in response to stress. Membrane lipids are essential for maintaining the lamellar stack of chloroplasts and stabilizing chloroplast membranes under stress. However, the effects of lipid signaling targets in plants are not fully understood. This review focuses on the synthesis of various signaling lipids and their roles in abiotic stress tolerance responses, providing an essential perspective for further investigation into the interactions between plant lipids and abiotic stress.

Abstract:Tolerance of plants to a number of biotic and abiotic stresses such as pathogen and herbivore attack, drought, salinity, cold and nutritional limitations is ensued by complex multimodule signaling pathways. The outcome of this complex signaling pathways results in adaptive responses by restoring the cellular homeostasis and thus promoting survival. Functions of many plant cation transporter and channel protein families such as glutamate receptor homologs (GLRs), cyclic nucleotide-gated ion channel (CNGC) have been implicated in providing biotic and abiotic stress tolerance. Ion homeostasis regulated by several transporters and channels is one of the crucial parameters for the optimal growth, development and survival of all living organisms. The CNGC family members are known to be involved in the uptake of cations such as Na(+), K(+) and Ca(2+) and regulate plant growth and development. Detail functional genomics approaches have given an emerging picture of CNGCs wherein these protein are believed to play crucial role in pathways related to cellular ion homeostasis, development and as a 'guard' in defense against biotic and abiotic challenges. Here, we discuss the current knowledge of role of CNGCs in mediating stress management and how they aid plants in survival under adverse conditions.

Abstract:Plants, being immobile, are vulnerable to a variety of environmental challenges, including abiotic stresses such as high temperatures, low temperatures, flooding, drought, heavy metal toxicity, and high salt levels, all of which can negatively impact plant growth and productivity. These stresses can cause a variety of plant responses, including the production of reactive oxygen species, damage to cell membranes, and decreased photosynthetic efficiency which can disrupt growth and development, by impacting biochemical, physiological, and molecular processes. Plants have evolved complex mechanisms to deal with these abiotic stresses. The way that plants perceive and respond to stress signals plays a crucial role in initiating the resistance mechanisms. Recent research has highlighted the complexity of the molecular processes involved in plant responses to abiotic stress, including signal perception, signaling cascades, gene expression, protein synthesis and post-translational modifications. This review provides an overview of how plants respond to major abiotic stresses, including cold, heat, drought, and salinity, on both at physiological and molecular level. We have also discussed the ways in which plants sense various stresses and use molecular signaling to enhance tolerance to environmental stresses.

Abstract:Phytohormones are signaling substances that control essential elements of growth, development, and reactions to environmental stress. Drought, salt, heat, cold, and floods are a few examples of abiotic factors that have a significant impact on plant development and survival. Complex sensing, signaling, and stress response systems are needed for adaptation and tolerance to such pressures. Abscisic acid (ABA) is a key phytohormone that regulates stress responses. It interacts with the jasmonic acid (JA) and salicylic acid (SA) signaling pathways to direct resources toward reducing the impacts of abiotic stressors rather than fighting against pathogens. Under exposure to nanoparticles, the plant growth hormones also function as molecules that regulate stress and are known to be involved in a variety of signaling cascades. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are detected in excess while under stress, and nanoparticles can control their formation. Understanding the way these many signaling pathways interact in plants will tremendously help breeders create food crops that can survive in deteriorating environmental circumstances brought on by climate change and that can sustain or even improve crop production. Recent studies have demonstrated that phytohormones, such as the traditional auxins, cytokinins, ethylene, and gibberellins, as well as more recent members like brassinosteroids, jasmonates, and strigolactones, may prove to be significant metabolic engineering targets for creating crop plants that are resistant to abiotic stress. In this review, we address recent developments in current understanding regarding the way various plant hormones regulate plant responses to abiotic stress and highlight instances of hormonal communication between plants during abiotic stress signaling. We also discuss new insights into plant gene and growth regulation mechanisms during stress, phytohormone engineering, nanotechnological crosstalk of phytohormones, and Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria's Regulatory Powers (PGPR) via the involvement of phytohormones.

Impact of Plant-Associated Microbial Communities on Host Plants Under Abiotic Stresses

Abstract:Plants face various biotic and abiotic environmental stresses in their lifetime. These environmental impacts reduce plant growth and productivity. Out of abiotic stressors, drought, salt, heat, and heavy metal ion contamination are the major challenges faced by plants. For overcoming these challenges, plants adopt certain physiological and biochemical changes. These changes include a variation in an aspect ratio of root-shoot length, leaf wilting, leaf abscission, generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), altered relative water content, and accumulation of free radicals that can disrupt cellular homeostasis, thereby affecting cell viability. Plants also produce stress hormones, namely, abscisic acid and stress ethylene which induce closure of leaf stomata leading to reduced water loss from the plants and withstand various molecular and metabolic changes. Plants undergo physiological and metabolic changes, activating signal transduction mechanism to re-establish cellular homeostasis to generate tolerance against various abiotic stressors. The expression of stress-responsive genes is regulated not only by protein regulators but also by various regulatory RNAs.The deleterious impacts of abiotic stressors in plants can be overcome by adopting different agriculture practices along with genetic engineering approaches. However, these approaches are highly technical, time-consuming, and labor intensive and, therefore, are challenging to practice. One potential alternative to improve plant growth under abiotic stressors can be the application of plant-associated microbial communities which not only provide stress tolerance to the plants by producing a wide range of metabolites and enzymes that help plants to withstand various biotic and abiotic stresses but also improve crop productivity. Microbes mediate induction of physical and chemical changes in plants at a physical, biochemical, or molecular level in the presence of abiotic stressors to alleviate their deleterious effect, a process termed as induced systemic tolerance (IST). In this chapter, we present an elaborated account of the impact of plant-associated microbial communities on the host plants challenged to the abiotic stresses.

Abstract:Recent changing patterns of global climate have turned out to be a severe hazard to the horticulture crops production. A wide range of biotic and abiotic stresses often affect plants due to their sessile nature. Horticultural crop losses are mainly caused by abiotic factors such as drought, salt, heat, cold, floods, and ultraviolet radiation. For coping up with these adversities, well-developed mechanisms have been evolved in plants, which play a role in perceiving stress signals and enabling optimal growth responses. Interestingly, the use of phytohormones for suppressing the impact of abiotic stress has gained much attention in recent decades. For circumvention of stress at various levels, including physiological, molecular, as well as biochemical, a sophisticated mechanism is reported to be provided by the phytohormones, thus labeling these phytohormones a significant role in plant growth and development. Phytohormones can improves tolerance against abiotic stresses by increasing seed germination, seedling growth, leaf photosynthesis, root growth, and antioxidant enzymes and reducing the accumulation of reactive oxygen species, malonaldehyde, and electrolyte leakage. Recent discoveries highlight the significant role of a variety of phytohormones including melatonin (MEL), Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), jasmonic acid (JA), salicylic acid (SA), brassinosteroids (BRs), and strigolactones (SLs) in abiotic stress tolerance enhancement of horticultural plants. Thus, current review is aimed to summarize the developmental concepts regarding role of phytohormones in abiotic-stress mitigation, mainly in horticultural crops, along with the description of recent studies which identified the role of different phytohormones in stressed environments. Hence, such a review will help in paving the path for sustainable agriculture growth via involvement of phytohormones in enhancement of abiotic stress tolerance of horticultural crops.

Abstract:The current status of changing climate has become a significant threat to the global production of horticultural crops. Phytohormones play a crucial role in providing a sophisticated mechanism to circumvent stress at different morphological, physiological, biochemical, and molecular levels. Phytohormone mediates the abiotic stress-responsive signalling pathway and modulates other cell wall repair mechanisms, pH regulations, root hair formation, ionic homeostasis, chlorophyll content, synthesis, and leaf morphology. Auxin, cytokinin, ethylene, strigolactones, brassinosteroid, salicylic acid, abscisic acid, jasmonic acid, and other phytohormones have also had other phytohormones recently been discovered to play a vital role in the production of abiotic stress-tolerant crops. Moreover, recently discovered phytohormone-like plant growth regulators such as polyamines, sugars, neurotransmitters, and strigolactones are an effective strategy to mitigate biotic and abiotic stress. Recent studies revealed the role of different phytohormone-like plant growth regulators and network signalling pathway that targets transcription factors and stress-related genes. Understanding the complex phytohormonal crosstalk in horticultural crops under various abiotic stress conditions will advance the knowledge about the synergistic/antagonistic role of developing stress-tolerant cultivars. Review on modulation of plant growth and development process by regulation of gene expression mediated by different phytohormones in horticultural crops is elusive. In this context, our review focusses on the role of phytohormone-like plant growth regulators and associated crosstalk among each other in plant growth and development under abiotic stress condition.
