Abstract:To study the appropriate quantity of corn stalk and peanut vine in goose diet,180 2-week-age geese were randomly divided into 6 groups, each containing three replicates.1 to 3 and 4 to 6 groups were fed different proportion of corn stalks and peanut vines. The results showed that: for 2 to 4 weeks age, dietary corn stalks level was 4%,it had the highest daily gain(P0.05),the greatest feed intake capacity(P0.01),but FCR of each group were not significantly.when peanut vines level was 3.5%,it had the highest average daily gain(P0.05),feed intake differences of capacity(P 0.01) and the lowest FCR(P0.05).For 5 to 8 weeks age, dietary the corn stalks level was 8%,it had the highest daily gain, the lowest FCR(P0.05),and when the peanut vines level was 23.5%,it had the lowest FCR(P0.05).FCR of peanut vines groups were lower than corn stalks groups(P0.05).The conclusions was that under the same level of dietary energy and protein, the appropriate proportion of corn stalks and peanut vines in the diet were 4% and 3.5%,8% and 23.5% for 2 to 4 weeks age and 5 to 8 weeks age, respectively.
