Abstract:Anemia is a common complication of total hip arthroplasty (THA). In this study, we evaluated the preoperative risk factors for postoperative anemia after THA and developed a nomogram model based on related preoperative and intraoperative factors.

What problem does this paper attempt to address?
### Problems the Paper Attempts to Solve This paper aims to investigate the risk factors for postoperative anemia following total hip arthroplasty (THA) and to establish a predictive model (nomogram) based on relevant preoperative and intraoperative factors. Specifically, the objectives of the paper include: 1. **Assessing Risk Factors**: Identifying preoperative and intraoperative risk factors associated with the occurrence of anemia after total hip arthroplasty. 2. **Establishing a Predictive Model**: Developing a nomogram model to predict the probability of patients developing anemia postoperatively. 3. **Validating the Model's Effectiveness**: Evaluating the model's clinical applicability and accuracy through the concordance index (C-index), receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, calibration curve, and decision curve analysis (DCA). Through these studies, the paper hopes to enhance clinicians' awareness of the risk of postoperative anemia and improve hemoglobin management in patients through early intervention.
