Abstract:With the gradual maturity of the Internet of Things Technology, the technology of perception, communication and control of the Internet of Things is widely used in the design of home appliances, which makes the functional design of home appliances face new opportunities and challenges. Through desktop research, case analysis, user interviews and other methods, this paper discusses the impact of IoT smart technology on home appliance function design, and puts forward the principles and methods of home appliance function design under the new technology background, and believes that home appliance function design should based on users, usage scenarios and needs, with the principle of limited servo, integrated design as a means of comprehensive design, and hope to provide corresponding thinking for smart home appliances companies and practitioners.
