Abstract:An effective hazard-installation surveillance and emergency system is an important part of World Exposition(Expo) safeguard system.The general approach of construction of hazard-installation surveillance and emergency system for Expo based on Shanghai disaster reduction comprehensive information system is introduced.Through hazard-installation surveillance,data transportation by satellites,real-time information analysis and estimation,emergency plan,the system is analyzed.The system with the ability of multi-source information acquisition and quick emergency response,is able to survey the Expo venues and hazard installations in circumjacent regions thereof real-timely.The system,which can prevent disasters caused by urban major hazard installations and reduce casualty,will promote other departments to advance their emergency management by using the information.

Abstract:To study and prevent the adverse effect of single disaster separation on the comprehensive disaster prevention and efficient use of resources in the disaster prevention,a set of technology system for the comprehensive disaster prevention of buildings based on the concept of intrinsic safety design for the buildings was proposed.The system was divided into three subsystems,including the design of disaster prevention infrastructure,the design of disaster prevention corridor space,and the design of disaster prevention sheltering and evacuation space.The problems that should be considered in the comprehen-sive disaster prevention design of buildings were illustrated from three aspects of point,line and plane,which reflected the characteristics of the development of disaster prevention research,namely the conversion from the single disaster defense to multiple disasters comprehensive defense,and the conversion from focusing on the research of disaster factor and engineering defense to the research of the overall reduction of system vulnerability.The results showed that this system can effectively a-void the waste of resources in the process of single disaster prevention of the buildings.

Abstract:With the rapid urbanization and enlargement of cities,the safety of buildings has drawn much attention by both citizens and government officers.Taking Shanghai as an example,some typical hidden troubles related to buildings and facilities during their life cycles are briefly reviewed and a proposed management system of building safety is then presented in this paper.This system would include the following seven aspects: laws for building management,technical specifications for general investigation of buildings,technical standards for design and construction as well as maintenance of buildings,building information system on the internet/intranet,emergency measures,popular education on building safety,and expert decision-making system for building management.

Abstract:The falling accident of a building's curtain wall may bring adverse social impact and economic loss. It is therefore of great importance to efficiently and reliably identify the security status of existing curtain walls. Current safety appraisal methods for glass curtain walls are facing the adverse effect of a large amount of imperfect information and subjective indicators. There are shortcomings of these methods, such as: i) The appraisal rank is easily affected by subjective judging, ii) The key appraisal indicators are not clear, and iii) The top-level indicators are not scientifically determined and systematically evaluated through the lower-level indicators. This paper takes existing hidden frame glass curtain wall as the research object, divides the safety grade of curtain walls into four fuzzy ranks (fine, good, poor and dangerous) and establishes five levels of appraisal hierarchy for components. An appraisal weight determination system is established for existing hidden frame glass curtain walls in three aspects (appearance, material testing and bearing capacity testing) based on a survey among experienced curtain wall experts from diverse areas and professions. The frequency statistics method is used to determine the weights of the indicators. The ranks of quantitative and qualitative indicators are quantified using fuzzy theory. Finally, applicability of the proposed safety appraisal model is verified with a real project. The appraisal result obtained through the proposed models is consistent with the actual situation on a real project.

Abstract:Abstract Due to the characteristics of high-rise buildings, such as dense personnel, complex structure and many combustibles, fire safety problems are more prominent. Aiming at the fire problem of high-rise buildings, based on the Internet of Things and big data technology, the intelligent fire risk perception system of high-rise buildings is studied. Through the functional modules of fire water monitoring system, intelligent electricity monitoring system and fire automatic alarm system, the hydraulic and water level of fire water, the current and voltage values of key nodes such as distribution cabinets, and the on-duty personnel in fire control room are mastered in real time, so as to grasp the specific location of fire in time and accurately, so as to realize the intelligent control of fire safety of high-rise buildings.

Abstract:In recent years, disaster risks have been intensifying, posing a huge threat to China’s economic and social security development. Improving the top-level design and establishing a comprehensive monitoring and early warning system for natural disasters are keys to comprehensive disaster prevention and mitigation. This paper analyzed the needs of natural disaster monitoring and early warning business and system construction, focusing on the characteristics of integration, accuracy, speed, and efficiency and relying on the integrated perception and communication network of aviation, aerospace, ground, human, and network, and proposed a natural disaster comprehensive monitoring and early warning system framework that integrates business and technology. This can provide basic research support for the realization of cross-regional, cross-level, cross-system natural disaster monitoring and real-time forecast and early warning, and the construction of major disaster risk prevention and control projects in China.

Abstract:Modern science and technology is a weapon against natural disasters. Shenzhen is a city of technology and innovation and we should endeavor to address flood control, drought relief and wind mitigation (named “three-prevention” in this context). In particular, we should vigorously promote the improvement of technology, and make use of modern information technologies such as big data, internet of things, cloud computing and artificial intelligence to create intelligent three-prevention system. This paper described in detail the characteristics and the construction status of the intelligent three-prevention system as well as the future development direction, in order to achieve the construction goals of the overall situation probing of the three-prevention, real-time decision-making assistance, flat command and control and urban resilience development. Since the intelligent three-prevention system’s launch in April 2020, it has started more than 20 times of emergency response against typhoon and flood. The whole process functions of front-end intelligent perception, fine dynamic simulation, real-time forecast and early warning, emergency command and post-disaster assessment have been preliminarily realized.

Abstract:The Shanghai Tower,which has an architectural height of 632 m,is the most representative tall building design model in China.The super high-rise buildings in the process of construction and operation involves land saving,material saving,energy saving,emission reduction and other aspects of issues.Therefore,it is necessary to introduce the green building design concept to reduce unnecessary energy consumption in the construction process.Based on the green building evaluation standard and index,focusing on the aspects of design technology of large diameter deep foundation pit and foundation in complex environment,aerodynamic based wind resistant design technology,design technology of magnetic eddy current TMD etc.,this paper introduces the idea of green building in the Shanghai Tower project.Through the comprehensive use of related technologies,many technical problems have been solved,resulting in enormous social and economic benefits.The successful construction of the Shanghai Tower project fully embodies the 'applicable,economic,green,artistic'developmental ideology.The related technical achievements have important reference values for other high-rise building green design.

Abstract:Combining with the characteristics of fire protection inspection of construction projects, this paper develops a smart fire inspection system for construction projects based on information technology. The system is equipped with functional modules such as electronic handbook records, intelligent data processing, remote rectification interaction, and risk assessment reminders for fire acceptance personnel in on-site acceptance scenarios. On-site acceptance and filing spot checks are standardized, standardized, visualized and intelligent. The system application can assist the fire inspection of construction projects, save administrative resources, effectively improve service quality, and increase social and economic benefits.

Abstract:Effective evacuation and fire-fighting response require an accurate, prompt and dynamic reconstruction and visualization of tunnel fire scenarios. This paper aims to introduce the application of the Intelligent Disaster Prevention Platform integrating tunnel fire knowledge with the machine learning approach in Shanghai tunnels. The platform can provide key fire parameters consist of fire location, real-time heat release rate, temperature distribution and smoke movement, and reconstruct the tunnel fire scenario. The platform uses machine learning algorithms and tunnel fire knowledge base to conduct in-depth mining and analysis of multi-source heterogeneous monitoring data of tunnel disaster prevention equipment, including four modules: environmental parameters perception, intelligent fire warning, fire scenarios reconstruction and personnel dynamic evacuation, so as to provide scientific decision support for intelligent fire firefighting. Meanwhile, the platform has been demonstrated and applied in many urban underground roads in Shanghai, such as Hongmei South Road Tunnel, Yan’an East Road Tunnel and Dalian Road Tunnel, which significantly reduces the false alarm rate of tunnel fires and provides early warning in fire accidents. The relevant experience can provide guidance for underground infrastructure.

Abstract:With the rapid development of national economy, the population to big cities gathered themselves together, and especially the first-line cities, lead to city continuously extend outward, city scale is more and more big, the surface space is completely unable to meet the needs of urban development and transportation, the demand such as life, development, and use of underground space has become the important way of solving the urban development diameter. With the vigorous development of underground space, many disaster problems, such as fire and flood, have also appeared in many places, which have brought huge human and financial losses to the society. In order to solve the problem of disaster in underground space, this paper summarizes the main disasters, and urban underground space analysis of the different degrees of the risk of disasters; the emergency toughness of disaster prevention concept, combined with intelligent technology application in urban underground space disaster warning and decision-making, according to the requirement of the underground space of disaster prevention wisdom, put forward to underground space disaster, disaster prevention expert database, such as multisource data fusion. Deep learning is used to realize the linkage of disaster rescue and recovery, and an intelligent disaster prevention system based on deep learning of multisource data is established. The results show that the urban underground space disasters mainly include fire, explosion, earthquake, flood, toxic, and combustible gas. Combining with the overlapping characteristics of different disasters and the inability to define the boundaries, the theory of emergency resilience disaster prevention provides effective suggestions and measures for the decision-making and treatment of underground space fires. The intelligent comprehensive disaster prevention system of urban underground space is established from the three aspects of predisaster prevention, rescue in disaster, and reconstruction after disaster, so as to realize the full coverage of intelligent disaster prevention in the whole life cycle of underground space and provide data support for integrated decision-making of disaster prevention and reduction. The research results have important guiding significance for digitization, informationization, and intelligent construction of sudden disaster decision-making in underground space.

Abstract:This paper aims to present a renovated three-dimensional digital system for urban architecture fire-fighting and safety rescue. As an integrated engineering system,it is designed based on the com- prehensive application of the up-to-date standardized fire-prevention and fighting facilities,network interactive convenience and systemic engineering.In this three-dimensional system,the functional dimen- sion refers to the system of up-to-date function standardization,which is defined in a functional model established for efficient application practices.The system consists of five levels:the data acquisition lev- el,data manipulation level,condition-monitoring level,safety de- fense level,and decision supporting level.The intermiate dimension is the network dimension,which determines the distribution model of the actual system and the standardized network platform,which is made up of two levels:the bottom level (the system supporting plat- form,which provides the access of general database and exchanging service of the network information)and the upper level (the applica- tion platform,which is universal and configurable).The system' s di- mension is aimed to program the application system,which includes the intelligent auto fire alarm station and the fire safety control center of the city.The intelligent auto fire-alarm station is composed of in- telligent fire detector,control module,fire alarm controller,and the interface module of the whole network.Its function is to detect the thickness of smog and spot temperature,and then convert the spot signal into electrical one,and then transmits the data of the signal to fire alarm controller.Then,the fire alarm controller receives and processes these data to make a judgment,informing whether the data is status of fire,if yes,it then delivers the alarm signal and initiate the corresponding control module.The interface module of the net- work is in charge of data exchange to conduct the work of the con- troller through the internet.The fire safety control center of the city is in charge of linking all the fire stations with 119,the fire emergency tel.No.,transmitting the data on fire accidents,information-receiv- ing,processing,assessment,control and sort out these data and in- formation into different categories.It is also in charge of delivery of long-distance alarm and malfunction information.Thus,it can be seen that the proposed three-dimensional digital system for urban ar- chitecture fire-fighting and safety is technically advanced and intellec- tually smart,which will do its due contribution to establishing the in- formation-and network-based foundation for urban fire rescue and management.

Abstract:Focused on the issue that many large domestic fire control systems are still in a scattered alarm stage and there is no uniform fire management, a design scheme of fire safety management and information monitoring system in the Web environment is proposed. Firstly, this paper designs the overall architecture of fire safety management system, and the system is divided into four functional modules:Alarm monitoring function, fault follow-up function, supervision and management function, alarm data statistics and analysis function. Secondly, the design of the database table, the business logic definition of service layer and front page display are realized in the paper. Finally, a pilot testing for major commer-cial buildings of the city is conducted, and the system not only improves the fire early warning capability and fire safety management level of the fire network units, but also meets the needs of centralization, information and standardiza-tion of urban fire control.

Abstract:In order to improve the urban comprehensive service function and security level,and achieve a virtuous circle of urban human settlements,for the spatio-temporal continuing urban safety space including the public space with functions of urban operation and disaster prevention and the exclusive space of social unit in the daily life,an architecture theory of urban safety space was advanced,in which the emergency,the object of disaster,and contingency management were involved.A construction technology of urban safety space including urban public space comprehensive prevention and control system and social exclusive space security system,through the monitoring system by internet of things,risk evaluation and precision management,and the innovation of public safety management and service model was also developed and applied to Hefei city.The results show that the theory advanced and the technology developed by the authors integrate the functions of safety operation perception,dynamic risk monitoring and early warning,decision-making and command,and unified scheduling and effectiveness evaluation for urban public space,and can be used to achieve the ability of independent security and defense for social exclusive space and to promote the transformation of urban safety mode from the passive response to the active guidance.

Abstract:On the basis of the analysis about the traditional evacuation and lifesaving facilities, this paper adopts high-tech technological means (e.g. advanced intelligent information-monitoring technique, artificial intelligent technique, computer technology, etc.), integrates the function of building evacuation, and establishes an intelligent evacuation system. This system overcomes the disadvantages and defects of the current intelligent evacuation system, and realizes the intelligent dynamic guidance of the personnel evacuation under the real fire scene through the main control module of the intelligent evacuation system. It aims to actually realize the intellectualization according to the dynamic change of the fire scene, and make the personnel evacuation more scientific, rapid and safer.

Abstract:With the rapid development of urban construction and the increasing number of high-rise buildings, many problems have arisen, one of which is fire. High-rise building fires are developing rapidly, and it is difficult to extinguish them, which causes great losses and seriously threatens people’s safety in production and life. Early warning of high-rise building fire is an important means to prevent fire. In this paper, aiming at high-rise building fires, the causes of high-rise building fires in 2019 are analyzed statistically, and the causes of high-rise building fires are summarized. An intelligent early warning system of high-rise building fire based on multi-dimensional data fusion is proposed. Based on the actual forecast data, the early warning system based on multi-dimensional data fusion is analyzed through Matlab simulation, thus verifying the feasibility and reliability of the established fire early warning system. The research results have certain guiding significance for high-rise building fire warning.

Abstract:Based on the investigation of fire hazard influencing factors of No. 1 Department Store of Shanghai, a hierarchical multi-level evaluation system was established for fire hazard of shopping buildings. Subsequently a fuzzy synthetic evaluation model was set up to appraise the fire hazard analysis of No.1 Department Store of Shanghai, and all floors' fire safety grades were ascertained. This method is also effective for other shopping buildings, and can provide rational measures in fire preventing and controlling.
