Abstract:Under the background of the era of building a new type of power system with new energy as the main body, new energy represented by wind power will certainly continue to develop at a high speed, and the shape of the high proportion of new energy power system will also be expanded continuously from the local to the overall situation. In wind power generation, due to the introduction of a large number of variable-speed wind turbines, the frequency regulation capability of the grid-connected system gradually decreases with the increase of wind power penetration. For this reason, this paper analyzes the participation of variable-speed wind turbines in the system's frequency modulation (FM) process, and quantifies the participation of variable-speed wind turbines in the FM capacity, and gives the correspondence between the active increment and the FM duration of wind turbines participating in the system's FM process, and proposes an optimization strategy for active support of the frequency of wind farms, which is a synergy of the autonomous response of the single machine and the centralized control of the station, based on which the active support optimization strategy for the frequency of wind farms is put forward. According to this strategy, each wind turbine in the wind farm can effectively participate in system frequency regulation. The simulation example proves that by orderly controlling the FM power and FM time of the WTGs, the primary offset of the system frequency and the secondary offset of the system frequency after the WTGs are cut out are effectively reduced, and at the same time, the FM economic benefit of the WTG group can be maximized.
