Abstract:Traditional technologies are difficult to fully identify the complex and hidden landslide hazards along the Tianshui section of the natural gas pipeline. At the same time, due to the undulating terrain in the pipeline crossing area, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging affects the identification results of interactive synthetic aperture radar (InSAR), and only by obtaining effective deformation information can landslide hazards be accurately identified. In this paper, the Tianshui section of the Zhonggui natural gas pipeline is used as the research object. Topographic data and satellite parameters from the ascending and descending orbits of Sentinel-1A were used to analyse the visibility of the satellite. Based on the SAR data visibility analysis, the small baseline subset (SBAS) technique was used to process the SAR data to obtain effective deformation. Thirteen landslide hazards were identified. The landslide hazards are located in locations where the geotechnical strength is low and are more severely affected by rainfall. This InSAR processing method based on the visibility of SAR data can effectively identify landslide hazards along pipelines, providing an important scientific basis and reference for the safe operation of oil and gas pipelines and the selection of future oil and gas pipeline routes.
