Abstract:Due to the varying manufacturing demands placed upon mechanical equipment, it is often operated under fluctuating loads and diverse working conditions over extended periods. Rotating components, in particular, are subjected to various degrees of degradation, which can lead to simultaneous or cascading faults. In order to address this issue, a robust integrated decision-making with an adaptive feature weighting adversarial network (IDAWAN) for gears and bearings is proposed. Firstly, input from a single source domain and multiple target domains is processed, with weights adaptively assigned to different sample features based on feature discrepancy matrices and weighting functions. This ensures that the weighted sample feature vectors maintain domain invariance. Secondly, in the context of compound faults with strong class correlation, the Frobenius norm of the cross-correlation matrix is proposed to constrain both the primary and auxiliary classifiers. This approach addresses the issue of error information overflow during early optimization, enabling a more balanced consideration of class information and facilitating integrated decision-making. The multi-target domain transfer diagnostic tasks were constructed using gear and bearing datasets under varying rotational speed and load conditions. The IDAWAN achieved a diagnostic accuracy of 93.13% across both datasets, with training on 100 fault samples per class.
