Abstract:To further improve the mechanical and friction properties of polymer-based self-lubricating composites. Herein, regenerated lignocellulose (RLC) was used to assist in exfoliating MoS2 2 and blended with polydopamine functionalized polytetrafluoro-wax (PFW@PDA) to obtain precursor slurry containing "hard-soft" units. Introducing it into carbon fiber (CFs) reinforced epoxy resin (EP) composites to realize the uniformly transferred mechanical stresses and frictional shear force. The plastic deformation of PFW@PDA enhances the flexibility of the composites and endows it with strong variability capabilities. Importantly, the "hard-soft" synergistic slipping layer formed by MoS2 2 and PFW at the friction interface significantly reduces the friction coefficient and wear rate of the composites surface, giving it excellent self-lubricating properties.
