Abstract:Asia Pacific Journal of Public Health, Ahead of Print. China is a multi-ethnic country, and the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) infection may be diverse among ethnics. This meta-analysis was conducted to compare the prevalence of H pylori infection between Tibetans and Han ethnics. Ten studies that reported the prevalence of H pylori infection between Tibetans and Hans in China were eligible. The pooled prevalence of H pylori infection was 62.2% versus 55.3% among Tibetans and Hans, respectively. Tibetans had a higher risk of H pylori infection than Hans (odds ratio [OR] = 1.38, 95% confidence interval [CI] [1.05, 1.80]). In subgroup analysis, Tibetans with upper gastrointestinal symptoms (OR = 1.51, 95% CI [1.06-2.16]), inhabiting in Tibet (OR = 1.51, 95% CI [1.22, 1.87]), or inhabiting in Northwestern region (OR = 1.15, 95% CI [1.00, 1.31]) had significantly higher risks of H pylori infection. In addition, in the recent 10 years, Hans showed a decreased risk of H pylori infection (OR = 1.81, 95% CI [1.42, 2.30]). Heterogeneity was common, while sensitivity analyses showed partially inconsistent results against main findings. This study demonstrated higher prevalence of H pylori infection in Tibetans compared with Hans, especially in recent years, or in Tibet and northwest China, as well as symptomatic Tibetans. The results suggest tailored strategy and robustness need to be further considered for H pylori screening and eradication among Tibetans.

Helicobacter Pylori Infection and Gastric Cancer: Evidence from a Retrospective Cohort Study and Nested Case-Control Study in China.

Abstract:AIM:To explore the association between Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection and risk of gastric cancer in China.METHODS:Utilizing gastroendoscopic biospsy tissue banks accumulated from 1980 to 1988 in Shandong, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu, where stomach cancer incidence was high, during stomach cancer screening conducted by Health Science Center of Peking University, School of Medicine of Zhejiang University, and Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University. Warthin Starry silver staining method was applied to determine H. pylori infection status of biopsies collected during gastroendoscopic examination. In the retrospective study, the subjects were divided into two cohorts, the exposure cohort was positive H. pylori infection, and the non-exposure cohort was negative. Death from stomach cancer was determined as the outcome of the study. Logistic regression and Cox regression were applied to analyze the association between Helicobacter pylori infection and gastric cancer risk. In the nested case-control study, there were 28 deaths from gastric cancer in the fields of Muping, Shandong province, and Zhoushan, Zhejiang provinces. 4 controls were matched to each case on the basis of age (+/-5 years old), sex, residential place at the same time entered into the study. Conditional logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the data.RESULTS:There were a total of 2 719 subjects (male 1 399, female 1 320) with gastroendoscopic biopsies stored available treated as a cohort. H. pylori positive cohort included 1 671 subjects (61.5 %) and H. pylori negative cohort 1 048 subjects(38.5 %). These subjects were followed up for 1-19 years, averaged 10.88 years. The outcome of death from stomach cancer in the exposure cohort was 33, and in the non-exposure cohort 11. After adjustment for age and sex, RR=1.9850 (P=0.0491), 95 % CI was 1.0026, and 3.9301. The results of conditional logistic regression showed an OR of 4.467 and 95 % CI of 1.161, and 17.190 for the nested case control study.CONCLUSION:The results from the retrospective cohort study and the nested-case control study on the association of H. pylori infection and gastric cancer in China suggested that Helicobacter pylori infection might increase the risk of stomach cancer.

Prevalence and associated risk factors of Helicobacter pylori infection in the Wuwei cohort of north-western China

Abstract:Objectives: To evaluate the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection and risk factors and to serotype the strains in Wuwei, located in north-western China, which has a high incidence of gastric cancer. Methods: Helicobacter pylori infection was analysed in 21 291 adults by 14 C-urea breath test, and H. pylori antibody were detected in 9183 serum samples by latex immunoturbidimetric method. The correlation of H. pylori infection with demographic-economic, lifestyle factors and medical history among the participants was determined by questionnaire. The antibodies against H. pylori urease, VacA and CagA in serum were determined by dot immunobinding assay. Results: The infection rate of H. pylori was 53.0%, and 90.1% of strains were type I strains. The H. pylori infection rate was higher among farmers (OR = 1.34, 95% CI: 1.19-1.50) and individuals who had a junior high school or higher education level (OR = 1.10, 95% CI: 1.06-1.15), and was lower in older individuals (OR = 0.86, 95% CI: 0.83-0.90), individuals with high income (OR = 0.93, 95% CI: 0.90-0.95), individuals with a habit of eating quickly (OR = 0.93, 95% CI: 0.87-0.99) and individuals who consumed more fruit and vegetables (OR = 0.90, 95% CI: 0.85-0.95). Individuals with history of cholecystitis/cholecystolithiasis, hypertension and asthma were negatively correlated with H. pylori infection (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The prevalence of H. pylori infection is high in Wuwei. The major prevalent strain is type I strain. Age, education, occupation, household income, consumption of fruit and vegetables, and habit of eating quickly are independent risk factors for H. pylori infection, which is also associated with individuals with a history of extragastric diseases.
Helicobacter pylori infection, H19 and LINC00152 expression in serum and risk of gastric cancer in a Chinese population

Abstract:Gastric cancer (GC) is a consequence of multifactorial and multistep processes. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection plays a crucial role in gastric carcinogenesis. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have shown great potential as powerful cancer biomarkers. To investigate the possible roles of lncRNAs and H. pylori infection in GC development, we measured expression levels of three lncRNAs (H19, LINC00152, uc001lsz) in serum from a total of 285 Chinese participants using reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction. We found significant associations between high expression of both H19 and LINC00152 in serum and increased risk of GC; the adjusted OR for H19 was 2.17 (95% CI: 1.21-3.88), and for LINC00152 was 2.09 (95% CI: 1.18-3.70). Further analyses indicated an elevated risk of GC in subjects with both high H19 expression and H. pylori infection (OR: 13.75, 95% CI: 4.75-39.84). Significant joint effect between LINC00152 and H. pylori infection on risk of GC was also found (OR: 17.49, 95% CI: 4.78-63.92). Serum H19 and LINC00152 may serve as potential biomarkers for diagnosis of GC, particularly for those with H. pylori infection.

Abstract:AIM:To clarify the association between Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and the risk of esophageal carcinoma through a meta-analysis of published data.METHODS:Studies which reported the association between H. pylori infection and esophageal cancer published up to June 2013 were included. The odds ratios (ORs) and corresponding 95%CIs of H. pylori infection on esophageal cancer with respect to health control groups were evaluated. Data were extracted independently by two investigators and discrepancies were resolved by discussion with a third investigator. The statistical software, STATA (version 12.0), was applied to investigate heterogeneity among individual studies and to summarize the studies. A meta-analysis was performed using a fixed-effect or random-effect method, depending on the absence or presence of significant heterogeneity.RESULTS:No significant association between H. pylori infection and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) risk was found in the pooled overall population (OR = 0.97, 95%CI: 0.76-1.24). However, significant associations between H. pylori infection and ESCC risk were found in Eastern subjects (OR = 0.66, 95%CI: 0.43-0.89). Similarly, cytotoxin-associated gene-A (CagA) positive strains of infection may decrease the risk of ESCC in Eastern subjects (OR = 0.77, 95%CI: 0.65-0.92), however, these associations were not statistically significant in Western subjects (OR = 1.26, 95%CI: 0.97-1.63). For esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) the summary OR for H. pylori infection and CagA positive strains of infection were 0.59 (95%CI: 0.51-0.68) and 0.56 (95%CI: 0.45-0.70), respectively.CONCLUSION:H. pylori infection is associated with a decreased risk of ESCC in Eastern populations and a decreased risk of EAC in the overall population.
Relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection and digestive tract diseases and analysis of risk factors: a cross-sectional study based on 3867 Chinese patients

Abstract:Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infect nearly half of the global population, contributing to upper digestive tract diseases. This 2019 cross-sectional study included 3,867 patients undergoing esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and 2,875 undergoing both colonoscopy and EGD. Subjects were categorized into H. pylori positive and negative groups by rapid urease test (RUT). In addition to exploring the relationship between H. pylori infection and upper gastrointestinal diseases, this study further revealed that H. pylori infection was closely related to lower digestive tract diseases, including colorectal polyp (63.28%) and colorectal cancer (75.76%), as well as upper and lower gastrointestinal comorbidities, including chronic atrophic gastritis with colorectal polyp (79.85%), peptic ulcer with colorectal polyp (79.72%), gastric polyp with colorectal polyp (66.24%), and chronic atrophic gastritis with colorectal cancer (92.86%). Besides, a univariate logistic regression analysis was conducted to compare the differences between the two groups (including gender, nationality, marital status, smoking history, drinking history, living area, age, BMI, glycosylated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, and triglyceride levels), the results identified marital status and age as independent risk factors for H. pylori infection (OR, 1.435; 95% CI, 1.042 to 1.977; OR, 1.007; 95% CI, 1.001 to 1.013). Further clarification of the correlation between the prevalence of gastrointestinal diseases and H. pylori infection will be important for H. pylori infection management strategies and the treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal diseases.
Prevalence of Helicobacter Pylori Infection and Identification of Risk Factors in Rural and Urban Beijing, China

Abstract:The prevalence of Helicobacter pylori is higher in developing countries such as China. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of H. pylori in one rural and one urban region of Beijing, China.Healthy individuals in rural Pinggu and urban Haidian voluntarily participated in this study. The diagnosis of H. pylori infection was reached using the C-13-urea breath test. Associations between H. pylori and sex, age, living area (i.e. rural vs urban), education level, smoking, and alcohol consumption were evaluated.Of the 1232 included subjects, 54.7% of tested individuals residing in Pinggu and 41.3% in Haidian were positive for H. pylori. In urban region, more individuals were negative for H. pylori (429 of 731), whereas in the rural region, more individuals were positive for H. pylori (p < .05). Univariate analysis identified geographic area and lower education and annual income as significant factors associated with H. pylori. Men in rural areas were more likely than women in rural areas to be infected, and both men and women in the rural area were more likely to be positive for H. pylori than men and women in the urban area (all p < .05).H. pylori infection is common in both rural and urban regions of Beijing. Residing in a rural area, having a lower family income, and lower education level are significant risk factors associated with infection.
Prevalence and risk factors of Helicobacter pylori infection in Wuwei, a high-risk area for gastric cancer in northwest China: An all-ages population-based cross-sectional study

Abstract:Objective: This study aimed to determine the prevalence and risk factors of Helicobacter pylori infection across all age groups in Wuwei City, a high-risk area for gastric cancer in Northwest China. Methods: We conducted this study from 2016 to 2017 in an urban and a rural community in Wuwei City. Stool antigen tests targeted individuals aged 0 to 3 years old, and 13 C-urea breath tests targeted individuals aged above 3 years. We selected participants based on hierarchical cluster sampling. We assessed the association between variables and H. pylori infection based on logistic regression models. Results: Ultimately, the results of 2,163 participants (age: 0 to 77 years old) were included (1,238 minors and 925 adults) in the analysis. The overall prevalence of H. pylori infection was 35.6%. It increased with age, reaching the peak in the 30 to 39 age group, and then began to decline. In multivariate analysis, age was positively associated with prevalence of H. pylori infection, and factors negatively associated with the prevalence were drinking running water, the frequency of yoghurt consumption, and an annual household income of Renminbi (¥) 30,000-100,000 or 100,000 above. In the subgroup analyses, however, the same variables associated differently in different age groups. Additionally, we interestingly noticed that boarding, eating at school cafeterias over six times per week, and frequently drinking untreated water were independent predictors of H. pylori infection in junior and senior high school students. Conclusion: The prevalence of H. pylori infection is moderate and closely associated with the socioeconomic conditions of Wuwei City, as well as the sanitary situations and dietary habits of the participants in the city. Boarding, eating at school, and drinking untreated water are the main factors explaining the rising infection rate in junior-senior high school students.

Abstract:Background Helicobacter pylori infection is a major cause of non-cardia gastric cancer (NCGC), but its causal role in cardia gastric cancer (CGC) is unclean Moreover, the reported magnitude of association with NCGC varies considerably, leading to uncertainty about population-based H pylori screening and eradication strategies in high-risk settings, particularly in China, where approximately half of all global gastric cancer cases occur Our aim was to assess the associations of H pylori infection, both overall and for individual infection biomarkers, with the risks of NCGC and CGC in Chinese adults. Methods A case-cohort study was done in adults from the prospective China Kadoorie Biobank study, aged 30-79 years from ten areas in China (Qingdao, Haikou, Harbin, Suzhou, Liuzhou, Henan, Sichuan, Hunan, Gansu, and Zhejiang), and included 500 incident NCGC cases, 437 incident CGC cases, and 500 subcohort participants who were cancerfree and alive within the first two years since enrolment in 2004-08. H pylori biomarkers were measured in stored baseline plasma samples using a sensitive immunoblot assay (HelicoBlot 2.1), with adapted criteria to define H pylori seropositivity. Cox regression was used to estimate adjusted hazard ratios (HRs) for NCGC and CGC associated with H pylori infection. These values were used to estimate the number of gastric cancer cases attributable to H pylori infection in China. Findings Of the 512 715 adults enrolled in the China Kadoorie Biobank between June, 2004, and July, 2008, 500 incident NCGC cases, 437 incident CGC cases, and 500 subcohort participants were selected for analysis. The seroprevalence of H pylori was 94.4% (95% CI 92.4-96.4) in NGCG, 92.2% (89.7-94.7) in CGC, and 75.6% (71.8-79.4) in subcohort participants. H pylori infection was associated with adjusted HRs of 5.94 (95% CI 3.25-10.86) for NCGC and 3.06 (1.54-6.10) for CGC. Among the seven individual infection biomarkers, cytotoxin-associated antigen had the highest HRs for both NCGC (HR 4.41, 95% CI 2.60-7.50) and CGC (2.94, 1.53-5.68). In this population, 78.5% of NCGC and 62.1% of CGC cases could be attributable to H pylori infection. H pylori infection accounted for an estimated 339 955 cases of gastric cancer in China in 2018. Interpretation Among Chinese adults, H pylori infection is common and is the cause of large numbers of gastric cancer cases. Population-based mass screening and the eradication of H pylori should be considered to reduce the burden of gastric cancer in high-risk settings. Copyright (C) 2021 The Author(s). Abstract:Objective: This multi-group case control study was performed to determine whether Helicobacter pylori infection was associated with gastric cancer and stomach diseases. Methods: Gastric cancer and stomach disease patients that were diagnosed pathologically between 1994 and 1996 years were divided into several case groups and control group, all histological specimens collected in gastric cancer high risk region of Shandong Province were used to measure exposure history. Results: After variables concerning age, sex and education were adjusted, odds ratios of chronic superficial gastritis in antrum, peptic ulcer disease and active degree of inflammation associated with H. pylori infection remained significant (OR was 2.072, 2.980, 2.086 respectively). Correlation analyses showed negative relationship between degree of stomach diseases and H. pylori infection(r=－0.217). Conclusion: The results support the hypothesis of a relationship between H. pylori infection and the development of chronic superficial gastritis in antrum, peptic ulcer disease and active degree of inflammation.

Epidemiology of gastric cancer in relation to diet and Helicobacter pylori infection

Abstract:Gastric cancer is the second most common fatal malignancy in the world. In China, gastric cancer is now the second most common malignancy, while in Hong Kong, the mortality rate ranked fourth among all cancers in 1995. Dietary factors in gastric carcinogenesis came mostly from case-control studies. N-Nitroso compounds from dietary sources such as preserved, smoked and salted foods were found to be associated with gastric cancer. ß-Carotene, selenium and α-tocopherol have been shown in an intervention study to be favourable in the reduction of stomach cancer mortality. Fruits and vegetables showed the most consistent results of inverse association with gastric cancer. Dietary salt intake in preserved or salted foods is also shown to be associated with gastric cancer. Tea drinking, especially green tea, has a protective effect against gastric cancer as shown in some studies. Prospective case-control studies of the association between Helicobacter pylori infection and the subsequent development of gastric cancer showed that the odds ratio ranged from 2.8 to 6.0. However, results of similar case-control studies in countries with a high frequency of gastric cancer are controversial. Infection with H. pylori leads to changes in the vitamin C content of gastric juice, reactive oxygen metabolites, epithelial cell proliferation and apoptosis. Recently, CagA-positive strains were found to be associated with gastric cancer and also duodenal ulcers. The exact role of H. pylori in gastric carcinogenesis is still under investigation. Large-scale intervention studies are underway to examine dietary supplementation, H. pylori infection and gastric cancer. Helicobacter pylori eradication for gastric cancer prevention is being conducted in China and other parts of the world. In high-risk areas, for example in China, a combination approach including H. pylori eradication and dietary supplementation may be necessary.
An evaluation of factors affecting Helicobacter pylori prevalence in Tibetans exiled in India

Abstract:Helicobacter pylori infection is found world-wide although the epidemiology of infection has not been well defined in many geographical areas. The aims of this study were to determine the prevalence of H. pylori infection and chronic gastritis and the demographic correlates of infection in a single racial group in southern India. The sample population was selected randomly from the male population register of a Tibetan refugee settlement. Demographic data and results of endoscopy with antral mucosal biopsy were evaluated in 197 subjects (median age 28, range 21-81 years). H. pylori was present in 77.2% of subjects by histology and/or urease test. Chronic gastritis and H. pylori were closely related and there was an association between the number of bacteria present and the severity of the gastritis (P < 0.04). Infection with H. pylori was inversely associated with socio-economic factors, specifically educational level (P < 0.02) and occupation (P < 0.02). Unlike other studies, the prevalence of H. pylori was not found to rise with age, being lower in those older than 40 years (P < 0.005). This difference was still apparent when adjusted for socio-economic status. The major demographic difference between younger and older subjects of low socio-economic status was the greater proportion of early life spent outside India (and in Tibet) by older subjects. Among younger subjects, residence in India for 20 years or more was associated with a greater risk of H. pylori infection (P < 0.01).(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)

Abstract:BACKGROUND Gastric Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is related to chronic gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer, and gastric malignancies; whether this infection is related to colorectal polyps and colorectal cancer (CRC), remains debatable. AIM To investigate the relationship between gastric H. pylori infection and the risk of colorectal polyps and CRC. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed 3872 patients with colorectal polyps who underwent colonoscopy and pathological diagnosis. We also analyzed 304 patients with primary CRC. The characteristics of these patients were compared with those of the control group, which included 2362 patients with the normal intestinal mucosa. All subjects completed a C-14-urea breath test, bidirectional gastrointestinal endoscopy, and a biopsy on the same day. Data on the number, size, location, and pathology of the polyps, the location, and pathology of the CRC, the detection of H. pylori, and the incidence of H. pylori-associated atrophic gastritis or intestinal metaplasia were obtained. A logistic regression model was used to analyze the relationship between gastric infection due to H. pylori, and the incidence of colorectal polyps and CRC. RESULTS The prevalence of H. pylori infection was higher in the multiple polyps group than in the solitary polyp group and the control group [95% confidence interval (CI) = 1.02-1.31, P = 0.03; 95%CI: 2.12-2.74, P < 0.001]. The patients with adenomatous polyps had a higher incidence of H. pylori infection than patients with non-adenomatous polyps [59.95% vs 51.75%, adjusted odds ratio (OR) = 1.41, 95%CI: 1.24-1.60, P < 0.01]. Patients with H. pylori-associated atrophic gastritis or intestinal metaplasia were at high risk of CRC (adjusted OR = 3.46, 95%CI: 2.63-4.55, P < 0.01; adjusted OR = 4.86, 95%CI: 3.22-7.34, P < 0.01, respectively). The size and location of the polyps, the histopathological characteristics and the location of CRC were not related to H. pylori infection. CONCLUSION Our study demonstrates that the incidence of gastric H. pylori infection and H. pylori-associated atrophic gastritis or intestinal metaplasia elevates the risk of colorectal polyps and CRC.

IL-4/IL-4R and IL-6/IL-6R Genetic Variations and Gastric Cancer Risk in the Chinese Population.

Abstract:Objective: The IL-4/IL-4R and IL-6/IL-6R signaling pathways are involved in immune response and play roles in gastric carcinogenesis. To investigate the association between IL-4/1L-4R and IL-6/IL-6R genetic variations and gastric cancer risk, and their prognostic values, we performed a case-control study. The genotypes of the genetic variations were detected using a Mass-array platform. The Helicobacter pylori infection status was determined using a commercial H. pylori immunogold testing kit. We found that the IL-6 rs1800796 G allele was associated with an increased risk of gastric cancer (GG vs. CC: ORadjusted = 2.20, 95% CI = 1.33-3.63; GG/CG vs. CC: ORadjusted = 1.41, 95% CI = 1.09-1.82). The stratified analysis showed that rs1800796 G allele carriers (GG/CG) were associated with an increased risk of gastric cancer in the following subgroups: age >64 years old (ORadjusted = 1.67, 95% CI = 1.17-2.39), female (ORadjusted = 1.82, 95% CI = 1.09-3.05), positive for H. pylori infection (ORadjusted = 1.54, 95% CI = 1.07-2.22), non-cardiac gastric cancer (ORadjusted = 1.53, 95% CI = 1.15-2.04), stage T3-T4 tumor (ORadjusted = 1.41, 95% CI = 1.06-1.88), and gastric cancer with median to high differentiation (ORadjusted = 1.45, 95% CI = 1.08-1.96). None of the genetic variations were associated with overall survival. In short, we concluded that the IL-6 rs1800796 GG genotype is a risk factor for gastric cancer and that rs1800796 G allele carriers have an increased risk of gastric cancer; this association was stronger in individuals that were >64 years old, female, or positive for H. pylori infection. None of the genetic variations were associated with gastric cancer prognosis.

Abstract:Background Cangshan County of Shandong Province has one of the lowest rates of gastric cancer (GC) in China. While intestinal metaplasia (IM) and dysplasia (DYS) are less common in Cangshan than in areas of Shandong at high risk of GC, these precursor lesions nevertheless affect about 20% of adults age greater than or equal to 55.Subjects and Setting In order to evaluate determinants of IM and DYS in Cangshan County, a low risk area of GC a survey was conducted among 214 adults who participated in a gastroscopic screening survey in Cangshan County in 1994.Method A dietary interview and measurement of serum Helicobacter pylori antibodies were performed.Reults The prevalence of H. pylori was lowest (19%) among those with normal gastric mucosa, rising steadily to 35% for superficial gastritis (SG), 56% for chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG), 80% for LM, and 100% for DYS. The prevalence odds of precancerous lesions were compared with the odds of normal histology or SG. The odds ratio (OR) or CAG associated with H. pylori positivity was 4.2 (95% confidence interval [CI] : 1.7-10.0), while the OR of IM/DYS associated with H. pylori positivity was 31.5 (95% CI : 5.2-187). After adjusting for H. pylori infection, drinking alcohol was a risk factor for CAG (OR = 3.2, 95% CI: 1.1-9.2) and IM/DYS (OR = 7.8, 95% CT:1.3-47.7). On the other hand, consumption of garlic showed non-significant protective effects and an inverse association with H. pylori infection.Conclusions The findings of this study suggest that infection with H. pylori is a risk factor and garlic may be protective, in the development and progression of advanced precancerous gastric lesions in an area of China at relatively low risk of GC.

Abstract:Helicobacter pylori (H pylori ) infection was a global public health problem, with higher burdens in the developing countries. [ 1 , 2 ] Nevertheless, epidemiological researches in China yielded inconsistent conclusion. [ 3 ] At the same time, the prevalence of H pylori infection in China might be diverse among different ethnics and different regions. For example, a meta-analysis by Bai D et al showed the pooled H pylori infection prevalence was 62.2% versus 55.3% among Tibetans and Hans, respectively. [ 4 ] Recently, a large-scale, national, family-based epidemiological study demonstrated family-based infection rates ranged from 50.27% to 85.06% among the 29 provinces in mainland China, with an average rate of 71.21%. [ 5 ] Therefore, it is necessary to further explore the acute prevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection in specific area in China, especially in general population.
